Acrobat is a joke, photoshop is the punchline, flash didn’t deserve that, and why wait 60 days to MAKE A PDF. I feel insulted, I can’t help this company, it’s too far gone, into the 4th circle of Dant... See more

Extremely deceptive business practices
Extremely deceptive business practices. I was charged for Adobe Stock, a useless service I did not sign up for, after my free trial for Adobe Audition ended. I guess they thought they could just sneak it in and I wouldn't notice? Hateful, hateful company. Tragically I don't have the option to avoid it, but you should if you can. At least they processed my refund without protest -- perhaps a sign they do this a little too often?
It's Not Great, but It's Not Terrible either.
This is a tough review for me. I have worked in church post-production for over a decade and the Creative Suite has been with me throughout the whole process. I use a lot. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and even InDesign. And for the most part, what you see is what you get.
Granted, the $30/month is a bit steep considering you're paying $360 a year for a software that (for the most part doesn't change). Seriously. Look through the user forums at Adobe and the reddit posts and you will find a bevy of unsolved issues and unimplemented feature requests that date back YEARS. For a company that promises improvements to its users, they fail horrifically with most major updates.
In their defense, the amount of configurations is vast and to make their software run on all of the widely varied computers is a huge task. But at the same time, that's their problem to overcome.
Adobe's Creative Cloud Suite is riddled with software issues. Crashes, freezes, errors in project files if you have the audacity to update the program, the list goes on. I have spent probably several weeks of my life, collectively, troubleshooting said issues, reinstalling the Suite, reinstalling the operating system, swapping project files, etc. And it's always infuriating.
So why haven't I left? Well, dear reader, I am a slave to familiarity and jumping the ship for alternative programs that do the same thing might indeed take me longer than those weeks to get proficient at. I'm considering jumping ship on some programs like Premiere and After Effects, but that's a daunting fear.
The fact is, when these programs DO work, I think (especially if you use as many programs as I do in a given year) that the price is just right. The design has more benefits than drawbacks and for an older dog like me, I can dismiss the sum of time it takes.
And I have to add: how bizarrely siloed the developers are. For how good and responsive certain teams are (like Photoshop), there's still other teams (like Premiere) that have a way different way of deciding what the user experience should be and no one seems to talk/work with/troubleshoot/overlap/develop together. Outside of overall GUI's design look, the logos, and the shared company, you'd never know that they're related.
Support (when I have needed their help) has been extremely helpful. They can remote into your computer and help troubleshoot right along side with you and though they are clueless (I once had a support agent that didn't understand how MacOS' closing of apps differed with Windows' closing of programs), it helps to have someone offer suggestions.
Can the Creative Cloud Suite get better? Yes.
And it better get better, or else I fear there may be a large exodus of users that (despite not wanting to learn a new program) just might do that.
Absolute garbage of a company
Absolute garbage of a company. The execs and anyone responsible for selling this horrible mess of a software at ever increasing prices should be fined and jailed. YouWILL have serious software issues. You WILL be told to do a thousand workarounds for a product instead of just getting something that works. There are bugs FROM 3 YEARS AGO that still have not been addressed. For every bug they claim to fix with updates (it's never really fixed), 3 more come up (I am seriously not exaggerating). I pray for the day adobe goes bankrupt and the whole business burns to the ground.
I have lost SO many hours on finding workarounds that I have lost clients due to delivering contracts late (plural. yes. multiple).
Since this is all I can do to spite them; here's a list of alternative products that work as they should. If you're just starting out PLEASE heed my warning and look into these as they will actually work and not make you pay stupid amounts of money for bad software, cause once you start getting contracts and premiere pro is failing you it will be too late to switch to something else as Adobe will just about steal money from you to keep you from leaving their service (check out the rest of these lovely reviews to understand what I mean).
Photoshop - Affinity Photo & Procreate
Illustrator - Affinity designer or Corel Draw
Animator - Blender, Mohom, Cacani
In design - Affinity Publisher
Lightroom - Affinity Photo
Premiere pro - Davinci Resolve, Sony Vegas
After effects - Davinci Resolve (Fusion tab)
Audition - literally ANY other DAW:FL Studio, Reason, wtv.
Dreamweaver - Blue Griffon
These also don't charge you a thousand dollars every year. You buy them once and that's it. Some are even free of charge and ALL work better than adobe products.
All of a Sudden they quit caring about the USERS
I've been using Adobe for more than 20 years. While their products are, for the most part better than anything else out there, they have absolutely no concern for their long term users. For no reason they will randomly change an Icon color or delete a default setting for adjusting volume in Adobe Audition which just happened about two weeks ago. So, they obviously don't respect those of us who use these programs regularly.
Customercare or......
I needed to transfer a license to another Adobe and on the webpage the only option , when it was regarding Audition, was to chat. I waited allmost a hour, before I picked up the phone.
Then I waited 20 minutes until I got connected.
After "customercare" understood my problem, she told me to wait while connecting me to the right department.
This new agent then told me to use the chat (which was still open) and that it would take max 2 minutes.
