Incredible service

Incredible service, impecable van, and a very smooth transition by asking extra days. Really afordable prices in comparison to other places. Returning the van was also very easy. Amazing friendly English (and Dutch of course) speaking staff. Thanks so much and will definitely rent again from here!

Was not satisfied

Very Rude, unorganized. (now threatening to sue me for writing about my experience with their business!?!?!
Firstly, the first agreed upon price is not the final one, so you migh initially think that this is a cost effective option, but it is not, you will end up getting a much larger bill at the end. Then, my biggest problem with them was that after returning the van, the day after we got an email saying there was no damage to the car and that we would be recieving our depost back, but then the day after I got another email saying they found a small scratch, even though the pictures I took on my phone had no scratch on them!!! For this small scratch I was charged about 400 euors! Honestly I think their whole business runs on making people pay huge amounts of money for small damages. Moroever, they inititally wanted to charge me a maximun of 900 euors for being a young driver but the driver was not a young driver. They are unorganized and in the end renting a van for a day cost me 591 euors. I do not recomend this company, but if you do rent from them make sure you take ALOT of pictures and videos because they will try to scam you !!!.

Jammer van uw review zeker omdat alles wat u aangeeft niet juist is.
Vooraf betaald u bij ons de borg+verzekering en wanneer de bus is ingeleverd worden de kilometers en brandstof berekend, dit is ook zo naar u doorgecommuncieerd.
Wij hebben een scan systeem staan die precies kan laten zien hoe de bus wordt meegegeven en hoe deze wordt ingeleverd.
Hier kunt u heel duidelijk zien dat er in uw huurperiode een schade gereden is (dit heeft u zelf telefonisch bevestigd aan ons dat er inderdaad een nieuwe schade is.)
U heeft ook aangegeven telefonisch dat u niet het stuk gefilmd heeft waar de schade zit.
Wij hebben keurig de schade laten taxeren door een onafhankelijke garage en deze kosten aan u doorberekend.
Tevens is er u helemaal niet 477,- voor de schade doorberekend maar 395,-, aanzienlijk verschil.
Wij hebben u al het bewijs geleverd wat u wilde en hierop is alles heel duidelijk te zien.
Jammer dat u ons de schuld geeft voor het feit dat u niet goed in een bus kunt rijden.

I just returned from my rental from…

I just returned from my rental from Adrem. The car was excellent and the customer service was top notch. The car was clean and the helpful staff made the rental process a breeze. I will definitely return and recommend Adrem to others.

I will never rent a Van from here again!

I will never rent a Van from here again, and this is why;

The Van we rented drove, that is the only positive I can say about this company. It smelt horrendous and was held together by ductape, the people were awful and I felt unsafe being there.

I made a reservation online, when I did not receive a confirmation, I phoned them and asked if they had received it. The lady on the phone was friendly, but new to the job and couldn't find my reservation. Instead of solving the issue and making a direct reservation over the phone, she told me to make another reservation online, which I did.

Again, I did not receive any confirmation by the next day, so I phoned again, this time an unfriendly man told me he found the reservation and send me an confirmation email.

We went to pick up the van on a saturday morning and I first of all, I was shocked by the state of the building - it looks like a squat! Inside there were lots of people waiting to pick up a car/van, and multiple people complaining about the state of their rental vehicle.

We paid the 300 euro deposit, and were told to walk to the side of the building to pick it up from their parking lot. There, no one came to help us and we had to find an employee to tell us which Van was ours and do the inspection. An older employee was cursing and ranting to a customer about his (valid) complaint that the van they gave him was held together by ductape. After that was done he started ranting at us about the other customer before walking us to the van and pointing out the multitude of bumps, scratches and ductape holding the mirrors up.

We should have walked away, but since we were under time pressure and couldn't arrange to rent a van from another company that same day, we took it anyway.

The cabin was dirty and smelt of wet dog and rot - so we had to drive with the windows open. It drove, but that's all I can say about it.

On return of the van the next morning, I went to reception and was told we needed to go back to the parking lot (with two other customers). If I'd been on my own I would have felt very unsafe as there was a man with a large guard dog cursing and swearing with the older man who served us the day before. I was told there would be an end inspection of the Van for damage - but the older man said he'd do it in his own time and just hand him the key. I just wanted to leave as soon as possible from that place!

The rates they show online are exclusive petrol/diesel and they don't refund the deposit until 3 working days later. For me it was unclear whether they would charge me for damage - even though we didn't do any. I never received and end invoice or specification of the charge for the petrol or anything.

So my advice?! Don't go for their cheap looking rates, just get a Van from a proper, reliable company!
