5 star Grappling school

Advanced Grappling is a very well-run and highly professional business. The trainer and owner, Jack, is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced. His approach made me feel completely comfortable and confident enough to have him teach my 3-year-old son, which says a lot about the environment he creates — safe, respectful, and focused on proper development.
I completely disagree with the other “Toby’s” review. That said… after Googling Cruz Beckham, I can see the resemblance — just without the punchable face 😂.
Highly recommend Advanced Grappling to anyone looking to train themselves or their kids with a top-class coach.

Advance grappling Wyong

Advance grappling Wyong. This gym is always empty. The owner coach is bland and lacks empathy (no offense but he has a dad bod then started starving himself to be skinny and he has a porn moustache and the way he moves around is cringe, he looks like Cruz Beckham the punchable face is the same). They hurt beginner Mums with their poor set up then deny it forcing legal action then gang up on and attack them. They try to bury the truth. The owner and his wife are nasty like this due to being poor and running a failing gym. They will keep chugging along and eventually close in debt. And that’s a good thing so people will be safe and not harmed by their arrogance, ego and shortcuts. The market doesn’t reward people who hurt people. And also no one wants to be in that awkward af empty gym with cheap mats that rip up your feet.

There’s no belt system so you’re…

There’s no belt system so you’re wasting your time here. It won’t be recognised anywhere else except this one gym. And this one gym is struggling and will likely close down within a couple years.

Jiu jitsu gym in Wyong

Jiu jitsu gym in Wyong, NSW, Australia
I didn’t find it to be safe for beginners
There was no basics trained before placing you into higher risk moves. You had no choice but to be paired with white belt teens. You were not closely supervised during drilling. Everybody in BJJ knows this is a recipe for injury. The owner acted obtuse when it was brought to his attention then personally attacked an injured student to avoid responsibility. I would choose a gym where student safety is prioritised. And insurance is in place for the sport to cover student injury medical costs. Like other organised sports.
