Bought a Dacia Sandero a year ago and had no end of problems with it. Had a fault wiper motor, a faulty horn and gear changing problems that were diagnosed to be the clutch. This company were very brash and rude to me when I called about these problems, but agreed to fix them for me. I had all 3 problems 'fixed' by Advantage motors, but the gear changing problem remained and the other 2 problems cropped up again a few months later. Luckily my finance company helped me all the way through this and finally got the car independently examined. They ruled in my favour and agreed to take the car back off me and cancel the agreement. Over all this, Advantage motors have never once apologised or taken full responsibility. I have no doubt they will come back with a reply putting this on me somehow, but the fact the car was rejected by the independent investigators and the finance company should tell you all you need to know.

We do take customer satisfaction very seriously and I’m sorry to hear you’re unhappy.
Yes, you did bring the car back and we fitted a new clutch and wiper linkage, the horn issue was the fact that you were pressing the airbag squib instead of the horn button on the indicator stalk. We then heard nothing from you for nearly 12 months, in which time you managed to do nearly 9500 miles in an apparently faulty car, you also managed to get a 12 month MOT on the vehicle on 20/1/2026.
I’ll let people make their own mind up on this one, but I certainly wouldn’t be driving 9500 miles in a faulty car that was difficult to engage gears.

I am not an idiot so please don't make me out to be so. I was using the stalk to press the horn and it was NOT WORKING. The garage that replaced it, the finance company and the independent investigator all saw this first hand.

The car was still drivable, that does not mean the faults did not exist. I needed to drive it in that condition seeing as you didnt sort the issue out when you were meant to. I even drove it to you with the faults that you were supposed to have fixed, proving that, unless you like to make repairs that don't need doing, you knew the faults were real. The wiper motor gave up after you 'fixed' it, and once again, the independent investigator and the garage that fixed it saw this with their own eyes.

I took a year to leave a review because I have been going through the complaints process eith my finance company for a whole year, and was advised not to leave a review until it was resolved with them.

How about taking some accountability for you your shoddy customer service instead of making false comments back to my legitimate complaints.

Turned up to view two vehicles on the 16th December after having to unexpectedly scrap one of our cars. Visited many other car sales in the area that we walked away from feeling deflated to say the least. The team here were outstanding! No pushy sales pitch, or telling us what they think we should be looking at etc. As we had travelled from North Wales, Simon and his team went above and beyond for us. Shuffling commitments around so that they could put a fresh MOT on the car and carry out a service, whilst Simon sent us off for afternoon tea. My new MERCEDES-BENZ A-CLASS 1.5 A180 CDI Sport Hatchback has been brilliant. No issues, 3 month warranty. Very happy customers indeed. Wouldn't hesitate to return when we are ever in the market for another car! Highly recommend! 👌

Just purchased a car from advantage cars rotherham
So easy had a great test drive then agreed a price came to collect car a couple of issues but was sorted out there and then all friendly staff made the process very easy

Just cannot praise Simon and his team,had a problem with my car took it back and Simon repaired the car free of charge which he didn't have to as car wad out of warranty.
These guys are just amazing they will do anything in their power to assist .

This was the first time i brought a car online, so i wasn't to sure about it. But advantage vehicles are a good honest company to buy from, everything was as they said it was. I would definitely buy from them again in the future.

The customer service is excellent, nothing is too much, they even supported us when we were having issues with a previous car which wasn't from them, arranging pick ups, and offering to drop off my car when I was unwell. The prices are reasonable, we have had two cars from there now, Theyare good cars and are used for work, I have felt confident to come back to advantage if I was worried about my car, recently they have completed a small repair for me and again, excellent customer service

Just bought a car from advantage cars in crewe what a pleasure it was dealt with a lovely guy called Andy who was the manager he didn’t just try to sell me anything like most car showrooms I visited especially being a woman he was very knowledgeable and listened to what it was I needed and I now have the perfect car I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there again or recommend to friends or family if you go just ask for Andy

Had a great experience at Advantage last weekend, it was the first place we visited and we weren't really sure what we were looking for, our only stipulation was that we didn't want a silver car! "Norb" was great, he found us a fantastic car and offered us a test drive, he wasn't pushy at all, there was no pressure, it was a very relaxed environment and we came away with a great car!
