On Tues 11th Aug 2026 I went out with Adventure Beyond on their Sea Kayaking Moylegrove Trip. Undoubtedly helped by the balmy weather the trip was glorious. Kayaking out from Ceibwr Bay after some clear and useful reminders about on the water safety. A small group led by Jet, a seasoned kayaker and group leader, we steadily made our way of the bay into some gentle swell and a light breeze. Tucking into the coastline we explored a few small caves on route to the magic that is the 'witches cauldron', a beautiful spot to visit, tides and no seal occupation allowing. We were in luck. The tide was with us and no seals were in occupation, allowing us to beach there and swim.
The whole experience was excellent. I found the group leader Jet to be knowledgeable, helpful with for me the right balance of information sharing, sea safety, local sea and geological info., sociability and space to explore.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this trip with Adventure Beyond and Jet as an instructor.
