WARNING: Deceptive Practices, Property Damage, and Coverage Bait-and-Switch

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PROPERTY.
WARNING: Deceptive Practices, Property Damage, and Coverage Bait-and-Switch - 2026

I am writing this to warn others of unlawful and deceptive business practices I experienced at this facility. After storing brand-new furniture, and much under 6 months of purchase my items were returned infested with carpet beetles and rodent mites, totaling $3,412.94 in damages.

Key Failures and Deceptions:

Property Negligence: My "before" photos show a clean unit, but my move-out photos reveal a severe infestation and heavy environmental debris that "wrecked" my belongings.

The Coverage Bait-and-Switch: I have an email from management explicitly stating I had a $2,500 coverage plan. However, once I reported the damage, my dashboard was unilaterally changed to a $500 limit without my consent.

Omission of Material Facts: When I reported the damage, staff told me to "just file a claim" but intentionally hid a 30-day filing deadline. They only revealed this technicality after the window closed to ensure my claim was declined.

Zero Good Faith: They enforced this hidden deadline despite my documented medical emergency, refusing to honor the original terms of my agreement.

This company operates with a complete lack of integrity, using hidden technicalities and financial manipulation to avoid responsibility for property damage. I am moving forward with a formal lawsuit and reporting these unfair trade practices to the Arizona Attorney General and the FTC.

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PROPERTY. Use a reputable competitor like U-Haul instead. And please read their 1 Star Ratings about theft, blocked access, and items missing and th units broken into!
