I wish I could give it a big fat 0 . Tirana, Albania is the worst airport ever. Especially Lufthansa airlines. If you are issued a free flight because of an involuntarily schedule change which is their policy to follow, they don’t ! . They leave you sit there in the airport for 3 days because they don't honor your booking price either. Everyone beware !

I never received my reimbursement for the damaged luggage. They sent me an email stating that it was sent for payment to their finance office but it's been over a year and a half and I haven't received anything.

I had a very poor experience with Air Albania.
I booked a flight that was cancelled shortly after booking. The airline offered a rerouting, which I accepted, but that flight was also cancelled a few days later.
After the second cancellation, I contacted Air Albania and decided not to accept further rerouting due to uncertainty about whether the flight would operate. On 2 December, Air Albania sent me an email confirmation stating that my ticket had been refunded.
Despite this written confirmation, I have not received any refund, and my follow-up emails have remained unanswered.
Cancelling flights can happen, but cancelling twice and then confirming a refund that never arrives, with no further communication, is unacceptable.
I hope Air Albania improves its customer communication and refund handling, as this experience has caused unnecessary stress and delays.

Cancelled flight 2 times in a row and no customer help to get new flights. Terrible and never again. Don't support this company

I was travelling from Tirana on 31/8/2025. The flight delayed by 3hrs making ua miss our connecting flight from Istanbul to Manchester. Turkish airlines were even worse with customer support. They kept saying they were not responsible yet the original itinerary was with Turkish airlines. We were given alternative flights with a wait of 48hrs with 1 meal voucher and no accommodation. Mind you the ones with Albanian passport and uk/eu got accommodation. There was a next day flight which we were blankly refused. We had to buy this in our own. Have attempted to get a claim. No one seems to bother. If anyone can help get a solution would be grateful 🥹🥹🥹

I was impressed! I fly frequently around the world on different airlines, and I know what to expect from economy class. What impressed me was the space for your feet, the delicious complementary sandwiches, and the comfy seats with soft, adjustable headrests. It was a flight from Tirana to Istanbul on September 28th 2025. Really impressed! Keep it up!

Do not book this airline, they are crooks. They cancelled my flight a little over a week before and have not provided a refund. I wonder if the flight ever existed. The also won't respond to any of my emails. I wish I had checked this site in advance. What a negative impact they are going to have on Albanian tourism.

I had the worst experience with this airline. First, I bought through Turkish Airlines a plane ticket for departure on September 30th . On the 28th, they canceled my flight and offered to change it. I had to take another flight on October 1st in the early hours of the morning, so I had to travel on the 30th. I changed the flight to the same day, the 30th, just a few hours after my canceled flight. The time came and they delayed the flight by five hours, meaning I missed my connecting flight and had to buy another one. Air Albania offered no explanation for the delay, much less Turkish Airlines. They were all irresponsible. I lost $200 because of both airlines. Never again. Don't trust either of them. They don't respond. I requested compensation, but since these are flights outside the European Union, there's no compensation.

Flight was cancelled and refund was offered via email and call. Refund never came through and cannot get in contact about this. May offer cheaper flights but not worth the hassle. Very shit airline

Thieves! not giving a full refund for a flight THEY cancelled. They even closed their desk at Tirana airport because they know what would happen if an angry customer passes by to say hello. Like i just did and fortunately for them the boot was closed. they don't even answer mails of lawyers or from the belgian ministry of transportation. a shame to call this a company. The pride of Albania?! a bunch of ordinary crooks!

The only "customer service" that hangs up the phone to their clients because they pose questions about their unannounced delay.

We flew from Denver to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines and had zero issues. We then had a 4 hour layover in Istanbul with a flight to Tirana through AirAlbania. The screens in the terminal simply said “check for gate number at 00:45” as in 12:45am. Our flight to Tirana was supposed to be at 9:20pm… The lack of communication from them is appalling. We thought this was a glitch because it was so much later than our original flight. You’d think we’d get an email, text, some sort of a notification about this delay but nothing. We finally had to go to the Air Albania international transfer (had to exit the terminal to do so) and they just told us the delay was correct and we’d be taking off at 2:45 am. So we went and slept a few hours and waited for a gate to show up. Once again, nothing. 2:45 rolls around and we haven’t heard a peep and the terminal screen just said “delayed” at this point we’re exhausted, have to go back to the transfer once again just to be told “we’re sorry, it’s been delayed again but will certainly leave at 5am” and were given a meal voucher to one of the cheap restaurants at the food hall. Fast forward to now I am writing this at 6am and we haven’t even begun to board the plane.

Long review short: AVOID THIS AIRLINE AT ALL COSTS. We were delayed by over 9 hours and they have ruined a whole day of travel for us. I paid for a hotel to stay at overnight and we won’t even make it to the hotel before check out, so that’s $300 wasted.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE FLY AIR ALBANIA. I travel a lot and am well aware flight disruptions happen, but we were delayed for 10 hours with absolutely 0 communication from them. The worst airline I have ever flown.

Avoid at all costs. Worthless business.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent AirAlbania flight. The experience was marked by poor organization and management. To outline my concerns:

1. We were left waiting for 10 minutes in the hot weather for a bus without air conditioning to transport us from the gate to the plane. The bus was overly crowded and no A/C.
2. Upon reaching the plane, there was a 15-minute delay at the stairs (waiting in the hot weather)
3. There was no available overhead space for my carry-on luggage, contrary to what was expected.
4. Despite my ticket including assistance, help was not forthcoming. In fact, when I sought assistance, a flight attendant named Alexandra threatened to have security remove me from the flight. Thankfully, another passenger assisted me instead.
5. After takeoff, I found the bathroom facilities to be in poor condition, with no toilet paper available, and a broken door on the garbage can.

I have observed that other international airlines provide far better assistance with luggage and other needs. This situation leads me to question the training provided to AirAlbania staff.

For your reference, I have reported this incident to the U.S. Embassy as citizen of U.S. and included photographic evidence of the issues faced.

I hope that AirAlbania will address these concerns promptly.

This air company is a SCAM! DO NOT EVER BOOK with them! Our flight from Brussels to Tirana was cancelled by Air Albania with no reimbursement option, we could not reach the client service by phone and never got a reply by mail. Basically, there was no way to claim the refund. Then, the return flight initially scheduled for a Saturday afternoon was first cancelled, then rescheduled for Sunday 3 am, then cancelled last moment a day before. Being outside the EU, it is not even possible to claim a cancellation compensation. I read many reviews with the same sad experience.

I would rate this airline lower if I could. They charged me €170 to check my luggage, which was 18kg, and that was with a discount. That is $305 AUD. When I was unhappy, they told me I had to talk to Turkish airlines at my next destination, only to be told at the next destination that was completely untrue and they were very much the correct people to deal with.
I then lined up for my flight with the other passengers where we waited until after we were meant to take off. Only then did they announce we had been delayed. Then we were delayed again. I will never fly with this airline again.

First of all, the gate was meant to open 35 minutes before the flight time but no one was at the gate and it was causing people stress since some had to urgently arrive at their destination. Second of all, I pre-booked the seats but they changed my seat since apparently this airlines doesn't do check in. Never traveling again.

We booked a flight with Air Albania. Got cancelled 2 times,rebooked on other data with no prior info... 3 time flight gor cancelled with no given reason.
No response when we mailed or called for info.
Stilll waiting xor our refund.
Untrustfull, croocked way and absolute not client friendly.
