Fast delivery, does the job
Fast delivery, appreciated the use of DPD for delivery as I find them more reliable than most other companies. Air cooling tower was a good price and it does the job during this horrendous hot weather. Extremely grateful!

Ordered split aircon system and paid…
Ordered split aircon system and paid for it. They then send email insisting on proof of Fgas registration or offered to install for further £3.5k. Surely they should point this out before sale. Anyway I cancelled order immediately on July 29 they said refund takes 3 days and I am still waiting. Can't get through to anyone on phone.

Pity I did not notice the 'con'.
Pity I did not notice the 'con' when I found this company and made a telephone call to them. In very tiny print under the 0871 phone number, which is barely seen on a screen it states that calls are 13p a minute plus. Cost me the best part of £5 to query what I would need to order from them. Be warned!

Terrible company
Terrible company, bought an air cooler that was worse than a standard fan. Tried to return to be bombarded with emails, replied to all questions, and still refused a return request. Would definitely not recommend this company, poor product and terrible customer service.

I purchased air con unit but not…
I purchased air con unit but not suitable so air con direct arranged collection . Item went back in same condition as arrived we then fort for weeks to get money back air con direct said box was damaged and were going to deducted 20% of purchase price they then said unit was damaged and it changed to 25% they have now refunded full amount after going to my card company . Shame as we’re going to order smaller unit but left a bad taste.

Terrible billing system, down >£500
Terrible billing system. I paid using Paypal, but Aircondirect said that they did not receive the payment. They sent me a link to pay via credit card. 2 months later and I am still fighting to get my money back as I was double charged. I issued a dispute with Paypal (as Aircondirect recommended) but Aircondirect said to Paypal that I received my item (which I did for the credit card payment, not the paypal payment). So currently I am down >£500 because of an issue on their billing system. 3 phone calls later with Aircondirect and 5 with Paypal and no-one can fix this. Avoid.

I picked up the air conditioning unit from the Castle Donnington hub. They guy on reception was really helpful and even helped get it loaded into my car.

This company would never deliver on what it promised on the website.
I’ve bought air conditioning units from this company twice. Both experiences have been awful.
I paid for next-day delivery, which never happened. I rang customer service and they promised me a 50% refund, which never arrived either. As an apology, they gave me a £10 credit to use on my next order. I couldn’t use either the voucher or the credit because their systems wouldn’t let me. I ended up paying for the product at full price.
It seems nobody cares about what’s happening with the order, and I had to keep chasing them up constantly. They finally delivered it a week later. So far, it’s been a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely awful customer service and a faulty item
Absolutely awful customer service. They sent me a faulty unit and then refused to arrange a refund stating that it’s likely not faulty but that it’s my fault for not using it correctly. Ridiculous. I sat on the phone for ages with their service centre who didn’t know what they were doing, who offered me a return only then to get rude emails from them stating they would not return my item. £600 for a unit that doesn’t even get cold - an over rated fan. So so disappointed. Do not buy from these guys. They even told me the reason they aren’t offering refunds is because this is happening all the time! So they’re effectively sending lots of faulty units out to people and refusing returns.
