DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PETER TRAUTH AT AJS MUSIC AND VINTAGE GUITARS…

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PETER TRAUTH at AJ's MUSIC AND VINTAGE GUITARS in NEVADA. He sold me a crack free guitar for 6500 bucks that he described as clean and in excellent condition but when I received it it had THREE cracks in it and the bridge is lifting, The fretboard crack runs for 7 frets and there's a 2 inch back crack and then there's a B string crack on the top. He declared none of these cracks to me before or during the purchase. He first admitted that he didn't see the cracks/did not notice them or overlooked them but now he has changed tack and he insists that these cracks are from shipping damage when my luthier says they are old cracks on an old guitar but he will not listen. He told me there were no cracks in the guitar when he shipped it to me but I went on to his Facebook page and he had a photo of the guitar in his house before he shipped it and there for everyone to see very clearly is the B string crack on the top that wasn't disclosed to me and he now says happened during shipping. I sent him the photos and he unfriended me and locked his account so that I can no longer see his page and then he threatened to block me. He said he and his pal "Mike" looked over the guitar before he sold it and there were no cracks and now he is being a complete a hole about it because I asked for a partial refund to cover the costs of repairs. Despite the clear photographic evidence he is denying any responsibility and has threatened me, insulted me and my mental health, belittled me, lied to me and has gaslighted me to the point where I can no longer sleep at night. He even threatened to get the authorities after me because he filled in the shipping form declaring a lower price on the guitar. He is the one who filled in the forms so how could I get in trouble for that? He also wants to file a fake insurance claim with UPS for shipping damage when the photos clearly show that the guitar was already cracked before he shipped it. He is trying every trick in the book to get out of giving me a measly partial refund to cover the cost of repairs. He has a long winded Integrity clause on his Ebay listings and on his website but it's all BS and means absolutely ZERO as I have sadly found out so DO NOT BUY A GUITAR FROM THIS GUY BECAUSE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG HE HAS NO INTEGRITY AND HIS WORDS MEAN NOTHING. HE IS TRYING TO WEASEL OUT OF A FEW BUCKS AND WILL NOT DO THE RIGHT THING. HE WILL NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS MISTAKES AND LAZINESS IN NOT EVEN LOOKING OVER A GUITAR BEFORE LISTING IT AND SELLING IT. AVOID!! AVOID!! AVOID!! BECAUSE HE IS TOO MUCH HASSLE TO DEAL WITH IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG. DO NOT GO THROUGH WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
