Be very careful with ALDI Insurance.
My premiums jumped from $187/month to $432.85 without warning when my policy renewed. That’s more than double. This includes an 8% 'saving'.
I rang ALDI and the customer service rep—who was polite—read what was clearly a scripted excuse the company uses for these increases. How they justify a jump like that is beyond me.
I got a quote from another insurer and reduced my premium by $232/month. It’s criminal.
Yes, they email a renewal notice and attach a file—but it’s easy to assume your premium will stay about the same, so you may not open the attachment. That’s on purpose. It’s misleading and unfair.
I would never use ALDI Insurance again and strongly encourage others to read the fine print and compare quotes before blindly renewing. This was a disappointing experience from a company I expected better from.
