Has anyone managed to get refund for not getting what you paid for?
Would be good if we all got together and took legal proceeding that way whether we get our money back or not, it will stop innocent people from being scammed by them. Please message by review if interested.

Booked Umrah package with this company for family of 7 costing us just over £11k, full payments were made before we went. Con artist they charged for 3 rooms kabah view instead we got 2 standard city view. When we tried calling them from Mecca they ignored the calls. So we had to pay extra £1.5k for another triple.
We called our hotel in madina to check that the rooms were booked and was told there was no booking so had to pay another £2.5.
When we got back they said they wud refund our money first they said before Hajj then they said after Hajj - they probably did the same to those who booked with them to go hajj conned them.
We still waiting for the money and now decided to take legal action.

Scammers and Fraudulent company, Habib Rehman the director and Abu Bakar, Abrar and Suleman, watch out for this individuals, we booked our first Umrah package with them for the 6th may to 16th may, 7 of us was travelling and paid them over £11000 , when we arrived our Hotel rooms wasn’t booked, so we had to pay again to book the rooms. they were uncontactable and was not helpful at all. We are now trying to take them to court and get our refund and compensation. A dodgy company, please do not book with them, as they will take your money and you will be left with no Umrah or Hajj. They will be held accountable in Allah court. Please do not book with them.

Immoral and a disgraceful travel agency who make their money by conning people in the name of Allah SWT. From the start, they’d been nothing but an absolute nightmare. Abrar was our main contact and is an absolutely despicable scumbag. Habib is a supposed director and Suleman the owner of this disgusting travel agency and are equally money hungry, despicable, selfish human beings. My husband and I were travelling with our 2 young children (8 and 11 month year old), my elderly parents, elderly MIL, niece, brother and cousin.

We trusted this company and booked with them in total good faith and they promised us a reasonably priced package with our preferred hotels in Mecca and Medinah. They promised to send our hotel and transport vouchers 72 hours prior to travel. Following our constant chasing, that weasel Abrar sends me a voice note the night before we were due to fly out to inform us that unfortunately they were unable to secure our preferred hotels as their local agents had gone into administration. We booked our packages 3 months prior and according to them our preferred hotels were unavailable to book despite us ‘laymen’ people being able to book it online. Whilst all this was happening, that weasel Abrar refused to answer our calls. We persistently called and managed to get through to Habib who was also nothing but useless and tried to justify Abrar and the travel agency’s action but promised to get us suitable hotel options that will be as close to our preference as possible by the morning.

We were stressed all night and did not sleep and without any formal consultation, Abrar went ahead and booked us into alternative hotels that were not only further away from Harem but a far downgrade from what we originally booked. When we refuted, he got defensive and stopped answering us. Habib tried to get him back on the call and sort this mess out but to no avail.

Habib then stopped answering our calls but we persistently called the landline and finally managed to get through to Suleman the owner who promised to get in touch with the local hotel manager and book us into better alternative hotels, if the original hotels were indeed not available. We told him that we were able to book the original hotels online so therefore shouldn’t be a problem for them, but he spun us a story that the reservations are likely to get cancelled on arrival if booked by us! Unfortunately, Suleman was not able to resolve the hotel issue as due to the time difference and the local hotel manager logging off for the day but he promised that it’d be resolved by the time we reached Jeddah. We had no trust left in him or his agency especially given we were due to leave for the airport in a few hours, so we decided to book our preferred hotel online at our own cost which Suleman promised to reimburse. We are STILL waiting for our refund!

They not only messed up with our hotels, but they also messed up one of our travellers visa which meant additional cost to us on arrival to Jeddah!

Thank Allah we trusted our gut and booked our own Mecca hotel before departing because not only did they not resolve and book us into our preferred hotel on arrival but as per other reviews, the agency again did us dirty and ONLY actually booked us in for 3 nights at the substitute hotel. We found out as the taxi driver was hassling us for a pick up time 2 nights later. The agency also promised to include complimentary Ziyarat at both Mecca and Medinah but conveniently left it off the transport voucher!

Again, after persistently calling, Suleman finally picked up and reassured to send us an updated transport voucher with the Ziyarat and correct dates included as well as send Medinah hotel options because that also was not sorted. Unfortunately following that call, Suleman did not pick up again, leaving us again with no choice but to book our own hotels in Medinah.

This agency cost us a lot more than we anticipated as we had to use the funds we set aside for the trip and more to ensure my party had access to the basic necessities without compromising our ibadaah’s - Suleman, Habib and Abrar were all fully aware of our financial situation but were too money hungry to sort or process the refunds! Clearly the agency’s motto is to entice customers in with 5* hotel / package and let them down at the last minute where they downgrade and pocket the difference! We repeatedly requested for the package price breakdown but the weasels still have not provided but instead continue to spout random costs.

Be aware of these thieving con artists and DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Prior to us booking, the reviews on Trust Pilot were nothing but positive hence why we went with them. I sincerely hope this review prevents anyone else from ruining their Umrah / Hajj experience which is a once in a lifetime blessing. Allah is nothing but all knowing.

My first Umrah with my husband, mum and little boy. We trusted this company which they promised us a reasonably priced package with the hotels that we wanted in Makkah and Medina. The night before we were due to fly out they downgraded our hotel and sent my husband a new hotel voucher for 3 nights instead of 6 saying that the availability for the hotel we booked for was not available despite booking our package 3 months in advance. All night we were stressed and couldn't sleep. The company became unreachable not answering my calls or messages. The night before our Madina check in, the company decided to change our hotel last minute. They also downgraded our room as we initially paid for a deluxe room with partial haram views. The way this company operate is that they promise you the hotel that you want which you pay for, last minute they will downgrade your room/hotel and pocket the difference. When booking the rooms, they booked 2 adults and 1 child when there were 3 adults. At both hotels this caused us issues with the number of beds and delayed our umrah in order to resolve.
This also meant that 1 adult didn't receive a breakfast for the duration of their stay and we had to pay £20 per day from our own expenses.
Once we landed in Jeddah, we were told by the driver who picked us up that we require umrah permits and if we get stopped at the checkpoint we will not be allowed to enter Makkah. This caused me and my family a huge deal of distress as were were in ihram and had made intention to perform umrah. We contacted the company beforehand and on the day who made it very clear that we didn't need an umrah permit. Luckily we were not stopped at the checkpoint and were allowed through. This company will not contact or reply to your calls and messages once they have received their money and will do anything to ruin your experience whilst pocketing your hard earned money. How can a company con people using faith? Morally, islamically wrong! We were even told by the transport staff in saudi that they are owed over £5000 (24,000 SAR) by Al Harmain and are being misled into thinking they will receive their money. You will end up talking to a number of people via WhatsApp who will not resolve any issues and some seem to not understand basic English.These are the names of people from this company we have come across: Talha, Usman, Habib, Abrar and Umar. Abrar is the one who does the bookings and sends the vouchers and has a slight American accent when he speaks. Be aware of these people. Do not book. Pay that little extra and book through a local travel agent which you can visit in person. I hope this review can prevent someone from ruining their umrah experience.

Absolute scumbags DO NOT BOOK with them. THIEVES at their finest use the name of ALLAH swt to con people. HABIB, TALHA, OSMAN AND ABRAR dogs. From.start to finish nightmare lied over and over changed hotels a day before travelling even though they sent my package and hotel vouchers when we booked. Then was told by hotel breakfast os only for 2ppl and so I spoke to ABRAR the dog who sent me vouchers and he said he called.and.sorted it but he didn't so I had to pay for.breakfast myself 100sar per day. DO NOT BOOK PLEASE YOU WILL REGRET IT

Beware fraudulent company. I booked my umrah package for my mum and myself. And they cancelled the hotel
Bookings and stopped answering my calls and text. I had to re book me hotels myself

Never ever book with this company. First they lied to us about our hotel in makkah, and made us go round and round in circle looking for a non existent hotel and when we were close to returning, they cancelled our return tickets. We had to book our own tickets to come back. No contact can be made with them.

This is a review Alharmaintravels, if there was an option to give 0 stars I would select that. We booked our family Umrah with them and this is day one of our family and so far our experience has been an absolute nightmare. We waited at the airport for our transportation for four hours with elderly family members and children and when we came to the hotel we were told that our booking was just for one night after trying to spend most of my day resolving this instead of performing my Umrah, I was told that it was extended for 1 night extra and they do this to us three nights in a row and finally got our full reservations on the 4th day. Our booking included iftar and we did not ge this either.

Because of the nightmare I had with our Makkah hotel booking, I decided to call the our Madina hotel that we had booking for from the 10/04 to 15/04 in advance to confirm and make sure we had a booking with them. I was told that we had no booking and now they are not returning my calls.

I had personal contact with Abrar Bhai (Brother) who organised our stay in Makkah and Madinah and was very flexible, honest and a pleasure to speak with. We had help with our entire booking and had very fast replies and personal contact even throughout the journey so far. It has been a well organised and customer-centred service. The hotels provided were also amazing quality.

I booked with Al Harmain for my Umrah in ramadan 2024, I can only say that this was an amazing experience. Honestly such great service, amazing customer service! Amazing hotels and easy transport was provided. Made shout out to Abrar Bhai who did everything for me and my friends. I highly recommend everyone books with this company as we had a fantastic experience

Very disappointed! I booked a one day trip to Abu Dhabi via this agency. I called them via WhatsApp for more detailed information. They told me that this one day trip would be with a guide who spoke English and guide me throughout the whole day, however, the reality was total opposite. The guide spoke 0 English and the "guide" spoke nothing! At least I was lucky that I did not book a private trip with this company, because there was another person who spoke Hindi and could communicate with this guide and could receive some information. I received all the bare minimum information via the person who could speak with this guide and obtain the necessary information. Moreover, regarding the trip to Schejk Zayed mosque, I am at least happy that I read before attending this mosque because there were particular clothing rules. I was quite confident that I wore the correct clothes for entering the mosque. However, I was not, because the entrance man did not let me inside because my white linen clothes were slightly transparent. The guide did not tell me that I could rent clothes! Instead I had to buy additional clothes to cover up more. If only I was informed I could at least have saved 200 Dirham! Even worse, when I later contacted this company "Al Harmain travels", I did not receive any explanation for this false information! No compensation whatsoever, total ignorance from this company.

Overall it was all good experience but could improve on a few things.
Ie. could have been in touch throughout the journey.
Once payment taken there was less communication.
As most were English speaking people they should have provided us with English speaking guides.
I was recommended by someone for this company. Abu Bakar did listen to us with booking packages with flights hotels etc. Made sure we were happy with the plan etc and if changes were made they were all well. He did go extra miles with some things.

Booked a family umrah package with Alharmaintravels, they did an amazing job in planning throughout our stay in saudia they were in touch helping and guiding us on everything. Hotels were perfect as per our requirements they were near and had good amenities. And rest of services were provided timely and they are very budget friendly i would surely recommend them to my friend and family. Keep up the good work Alharmaintravels👍

Booked a Umrah package and got amazing services as said very cooperative and supportive staff and in good budget keep it up.!!

Abubakr was very accommodating and always ready to beat other quotes. Also was very understanding when we had a cancel a reservation last minute which was very much appreciated. Will definitely recommend to others despite not going on the trip. Jazakallah for your efforts Abubakr may allah give you a better reward
