Absolutely ridiculous company!
Absolutely ridiculous company!! Beyond frustrated with them!! Had to call on at least 7 different occasions with hold time to speak with someone being over 2hrs each time! Absolutely no empathy for a mistake on their part and nothing being done to rectify their error!! Tried to speak with a manager only to be told they only have supervisors who refuse to offer any solutions. I wish I could give less than 1 star as I have never dealt with such horrendous service in my whole life.

Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life! Automated phone service flat out doesn't work, verification system doesn't work, agents are unapologetic. Just horrible and don't deserve even 1 star.

This company is terrible to deal with. When I submit a claim to my HSA account it is impossible to get paid. I always have to call and spent over half an hour trying to get the charge fixed.
Alight is Terrible
This company is terrible! Every time I went to a physician and used my hsa account, 2 or 3 months later Alight would require I send them an itemized receipt or they would lock my account. Thankfully the company I work for had so many complaints about Alight they switched to another company to handle hsa/fsa. The new company is wonderful. Alight customer service is rude also.

I concur with every 1 star rating on this site. This company is horrific. Trying to get your 40k rolled over takes an act from god. These people are inept and couldn't find their collective asses with their own hands. The faster I can get my money from these clowns, the better.
I don't even know where to begin
I don't even know where to begin. Went online to Alight.com to make a withdrawal from my 401k. Online message said I had to call the service department. It rings to a voice prompt system that cannot verify me. Neither my voice nor keypad input is recognized. It is requiring me to create a new phone PIN and IT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE MY INPUT!! It says it will text me a temp PIN to my mobile number (and it verifies the last four digits) and the text message never arrives!!!. I get bounced to the "security dept" and they stay on the line to walk me through the same voice prompts. Same outcome. And until the Alight Voice Respone System verifies my identity I cannot be connected to a service rep!!! This is totally dysfunctional and I cannot gain access to my own account!!! Ninety minutes and counting!!!

They are handling my FMLA request
They are handling my FMLA request. They sent me an email saying one thing needed to be corrected by my doctor. I called them for clarification and I was told something completely different than the email. The person I spoked to could not look at my paperwork only the case manager’s notes. Which was what was conflicted by the email. The case manager is off until the following week so I could not get clarification but yet my deadline does not change. The is the second time that I have had to deal with this useless and wrought company.

This is THE WORST company I've ever dealt with for FSA/HSA. They use every excuse imaginable to deny your claim, lock your card, and steal your money. They clearly do not value their customers, as evidenced by the numerous 1 star reviews.

I was mis handled and there wasn’t a single care. Was informed to wait for a call back to handle my leave, but wasn’t the people I called at first didn’t help and said that’s a good question and also ended saying it out of their power and it was up to the case manager that never got back to me for my child bonding leave. Left me to dry and I mention the state leave has me coveraged for my job and a different date and they said they have nothing to do with the state leave , but couldn’t follow up with a call when I called them atleast 4 more times to have a follow up before my leave date ended on their date and still no call back. I had to take things in my own matters and call hr and my supervisor and manager to set things straight I highly never recommend this place for anyone. I am disappointed that I was never called back and have the statement provided from the state to put me on another time leave to inform my employer that I will not be coming back to work until a certain date but was ignored and wanted nothing to do with giving me one courteous call back. Not one when I asked 4 times to speak to someone who can actually inform me of anything that had to power to approve or not approve an extended leave base off the state having the right leave amount of time and alight with the wrong one and alight still mis handled my leave case claim and still have not gave me a call back when I asked multiple times.

They lost my money when they transferred from my company to a retail card. It's been 7 days and they have no idea where my money is? They told me it's a process? Customer Service was not helpful. I don't think a company can take your cash and help you get it back when it works for them. Zero stars........
These people "manage" 401k's
These people "manage" 401k's. I have them send me my dividend check every quarter. One quarter I didn't get it, called them, they said, we put a stop payment on it and resend it. I don't know what they "actually" did if anything, but I never received the so called new check either. So I called back and asked them to just direct deposit it and they said that would take 7-10 working days, basically 2 weeks. It has been over a month now and I still do not have my money. If you have an option to stay away from these people TAKE IT!!!!
Horrible company
Horrible company! They are absolutely clueless! Trying to get reimbursed for a PET scan and CT scan and they claim they need the “clinical summary” to confirm that this was indeed a scan that was done!!! The receipt clearly states the name, date of service, the hospital as well as the CT imaging department/ PET scan why would they need such private information such as all my medical summaries?! They also denied payment for labs based on that the image for the receipt was ineligible although it was not the best picture you could clearly see all the details, I proceeded to call and got transferred multiple times, wasted hours of my time to be given the run around. This is the most horrible, incompetent business I have ever spoken to, stay far away from this company!!!

Stephen Scholl should be arrested and put in jail in my opinion. If corporate policy has them trying to steal from me they are doing it to others. I have never heard of a company before where you can not talk to a manager and no one in the company knows the name of their ceo and tells you to look it up on the internet. That tells you all you need to know. Thank god the banking and insurance commission is pursuing a fraud investigation against them.

Terrible at least…. to get any communication from them you will feel stressed out in an already stressful situation. When you do get a communication you have to repeatedly go through their phone prompt system multiple times. The person you reach on the other line doesn’t have a clue what they are telling you. They give you the wrong information and deny your claims with no merit. After 9 calls to try and speak with someone who knows their stuff, I requested a supervisor because I was so stressed out and frustrated from dealing with confusing customers service responses. They got my paperwork incorrect multiple times. Had to resend in my paperwork multiple times. Appeals department is confused as well. Denied my appeals saying I did not submit any additional documents. Sent in medical documents to their requested fax, they said they never received it. Sent them my confirmation fax email and they responded with “my oversight, my incoming department found your paperwork. Give me a week to review this.” Shocking….
Redundant and annoying phone service
Recorded voice asks for your phone number, DOB, name and last four of SS twice before sending you to a live person. Then guess what the agent asks for? The same info! Annoying.
No one will help
Have received monthly HRA payment for 12 years. Employer transferred business to Alight for the HRA processing. In January of this year, husband was dropped and no longer receives monthly payment - again, despite receiving it for 12 years without issue. No one in the YSA unit is able to help, correct, or explain why. Frustrated is an understatement. As seniors on limited incomes, these payment are important to us. At a loss of what to do
No stars would be best, worst financial company I have worked with in years
Like all the others I wish I could submit no stars. As a Caterpillar retiree I was saddened at the lack of flexibility in how I could pull funds out of my retirement 401K accounts so I decided to roll it all over to Fidelity where I get great service. After talking to a rep (not easy by the way) he made a "ticket" to answer questions - the ticket never got answered in over a month despite my leaving additional requests to do something. When I rolled-over everything they gave me a long float time, then missed their own long dates so they had my money even longer. I am so disapointed Caterpillar trusts this company and hurts its workers by forcing them to work with Alight - how did someone at Cat conclude this was a good company with all the dreadful reviews? Note no replies from Alight anywhere.

Very bad company. They are VERY difficult to communicate with; Make mistakes regularly; Purposefully make things difficult and tedious. RUN from them!!
