It was great because the usage of ai makes interviews much more strsightforward, efficient, and interactive!

What made my experience great is to be able to pick up where I left off after being briefly disconnected. This was my first AI interview and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

created a well run platform to steal your data & resell it online. They will give you an abundance of jobs to apply to, yet you will not receive any offers on any of the jobs you applied for. BEWARE

I was surprised by how detailed this AI interview was, I thought it would be more like just filling in the blanks, but it actually felt like I was having a real conversation. I especially enjoyed how she took my experience in diverse fields, such as being a propmaster for film, political science student, content creator, and saw connections that most people wouldn’t. Her voice and ‘personality’ were also quite comforting! Very impressive AI!

My experience is great because it cut across the oil and gas servicing firm to consulting and now commodity trading, where I have developed in-depth business development skills and analysis of data for business growth. Presently into sourcing, procurement and export of soft agricultural commodity

I signed up for Alignerr before they had Zara interview, and passed various assessments on TestGorilla, and have been able to successfully work on multiple projects since then. They had a good run initially, so you see a lot of good reviews here, too. Those may be true, but not valid anymore as of April 2026. (Note: A lot of the 5-star reviews here on TrustPilot are not reviews about the company, but solely for ZARA interview, which is their screening process. It says a lot that the company directs its candidates to leave a TrustPilot review after an interview.)

Since the beginning of 2026 (or late 2025), things have completely gone off. The company would find every excuse not to pay you.

Many project managers I worked with are no longer active on their Discord, and I can see some accounts have been removed.

Earlier in 2026, they twisted "pay per task" projects and claimed only tasks that passed their review would get paid, but we quickly discovered that the so-called "pay per hour" projects also require review and approval, regardless of how they were shown to us on the LabelBox platform. The project manager initially told us that data shown as DONE will get paid, but later on flipped and told us there is a layer of review that won't be shown to us, so DONE is not an indication of approval, i.e., payment.

And, the worst thing is they don't have the manpower to review your work, so by the end of the day, whether you get paid depends on how hard you fight for your case quietly, and a bit of luck. Most of the time, they'd claim your work didn't get approved.

For evaluations/assessments, if they claim they're paid, it's usually not. They would open it to as many contributors as possible, but at the end of the day, only a very small percentage can pass and get paid. I found this out on one of the projects, and the manager said only <10% passed. The project never went into production, as they couldn't win the contract; we just wasted a whole bunch of time.

When they first rolled this out, they had someone try to be open about payment on their subreddit, but that person's account was removed not long after receiving criticism. Not sure if they get fired or quit.

All in all, if you read this far, please be aware and do not waste your time. It's a hard time to find a job, but there are options. In this line of work, working with platforms that pay promptly. Do not tolerate practices that source free data from you.
