Our flight was canceled due to no fault…

Our flight was canceled due to no fault of Alligent Air… but the customer service over the phone was horrible, I had waited on hold for 4 hrs the first time an employee was acting like she couldn’t hear me and hung up, the second time a worker by the name of Lisa was rude, when I called her on it, she tried to clean it up, and say she wasn’t being rude, we asked to speak to a manager, she complained, I would have to call back, not after already being on hold for 9 hrs already, then hung up and wouldn’t let me do the survey. I understand, they filtered numerous calls, but the professionalism, was disgusting, me being a prime member, I want to cancel it immediately. My sons will never fly with them again. Thank you for nothing, “Markquesha and Lisa, for your rude, behavior!

This airline will let another passenger hit you and don’t a thing about it

Flight was okay, until the end. There was a disrespectful passenger being disrespectful to an older passenger. My partner told the younger passenger that he was being ignorant. Which upset this passenger so much he shoved me out of the way and hit my partner across the face with his duffel bag. We made three employees aware as we are exiting they all say the same thing. Keep moving, tell the people at the gate. So we do. Of course the younger man flees the scene and we have to make a police report. A family even stuck around with the younger man seat number and they witness the altercation. Does the airline care? No. Was anything done? No. I tried, sitting on hold for hours emailing and they say no one on the flight was made aware so nothing can be done. Like we didn’t try to tell 3 employees on the flight. I’m adding the most recent email. “Sorry we don’t meet you’re expectations” is insane.

I usually look forward to flying…

I usually look forward to flying Allegiant. I love the beautiful Lehigh Airport, giving the feeling of home. The Pilot's almost guarantee a smooth flight despite weather conditions. Unfortunately, on this last flight a specific Stewart and Stewardess spoiled it for me and others on the plane. I understand flying is exhausting and we are only human. I also understand that dealing with the public can be stressful, but these stewardess’s were very rude and conducted themselves poorly in public creating a hostile environment. I just ask that a refresher course on customer service is an ongoing requirement. Kindness goes a long way. On the other hand I appreciate Allegiant affordable flying rates and the uniforms are nice!!! Lehigh Valley Airport staff were awesome!!!!! Thank you for letting me share.

Dont book with Allegiant

I booked a fare with Allegiant for our spring break trip. Upon accepting and booking the fare the departure date moved to the very next morning following arrival instead of the following Sunday as it was on my screen when i booked the flight. I immediately called because I was within 7 days of the departure so under Allegiant's terms and conditions, I was stuck with the reservation. After waiting on hold for nearly 3 hours, the representative tried to correct the reservation. She said she was having the same issue on the system so she discussed with a supervisor who authorized a refund of the fare to my credit card. The refund was never processed and Allegiant is unwilling to do anything about it at this point. Worst customer service I have ever received.

Your presence on their flight is an inconvenience to all who work at Allegiant

It is rare to be on time with Allegiant. What is guaranteed never to happen is to have a pleasant interaction with the gate or flight crews. They must hire from the reject pool of the quality airlines. Allegiant employees are irritable, rude, disrespectful & overall miserable people. We tolerate them when we must due to flight schedules. They are a discount greyhound in the sky run by people who deliver a full discount experience. You as a customer mean nothing to them. They see you as a problem to be poorly managed from your first interaction to the last. Fly them with the lowest of expectations & you should be fine.

Just completed a customer service…

Just completed a customer service conversation and it was a bad experience. On May 19, 2024 I requested a flight cancellation, and my credit card credited. The customer service rep verified my credit card number. Instead I now have a voucher. Today (5/28/24) I contacted customer service and the told me that they could not help me. They did not understand the question and then hung up on me. Terrible experience.

My recent experience at Allegiant…

My recent experience at Allegiant Airlines (FLL airport from the black ticket agent working at 6:45pm) was extremely disappointing and disheartening. As a member of the military, I expect a certain level of respect and courtesy, but unfortunately, I received the opposite at the ticketing desk. The agent I encountered was not only rude but also seemed to treat me differently based on my race. While she greeted and provided excellent service to white passengers, she was dismissive and unpleasant towards me when I simply asked a question about the orange sticker for my bag. This inconsistency in treatment is unacceptable and left me feeling deeply disrespected. I strongly believe that this behavior warrants serious consequences, and I intend to file a formal complaint with Allegiant Airlines' customer service department. No customer should ever be subjected to such discrimination and mistreatment.

Horrible AirLines

Good afternoon

Jade was at the airport 2 hours before flight

The front desk gave her a hard time about luggage’s when they were paid for. She had lost her Identification the day before flight. I completely understand about checking in one luggage because of ID but why giving her a hard time about carry on that has nothing to do with ID . front check in automatically said no to both she lost alot of time there then TSA did a pre screening it only took a few minutes. then gate changed at the last minutes. now is running to the new gate to make it on time but when jade got there gate was just closing and person was laughing while closing gate I call that un professional . The whole thing was the worst experience it should be more professional . and now I lost $202 that the airline would not refund me. this is the most ridiculous thing I ever heard.

My wife and I went on a 4day Vegas…

My wife and I went on a 4day Vegas trip. Using Allegiant. From Lexington flight to Vegas was booked. But the return trip the seats I paid for in in row 1for leg room. Had been given to someone else. My wife and I were put in row 5. We both had severe leg cramps at the end of our flight. And the generosity of Allegiant to refund less than half of my upgrade for the seats. This is what to expect with not even an we're sorry. Our Vegas trip uas to be a special event

So when I arrived at the airport when I went to check in I was told my ticket was duplicated and I would not be able to board the plane. I was also told to expect a refund in 7-10 business days this is going on 2 months later and I’ve seen no type of refund I keep calling and keep getting told 7-10 more business days everytime. Till this day I’ve seen no refund and seems like a waste of time to keep calling

Our flight was cancelled by Allegiant…

Our flight was cancelled by Allegiant on 3/14/24 due to weather. I received an email and in that email it said "If you take no action, Allegiant will automatically issue a FULL refund within 72 hours and email you a confirmation".
We didn't receive a full refund and we didn't get an email re the refund. Only the outgoing flight that was cancelled was reimbursed. If we can't leave, there is no way we are going to make the return flight and a full refund is a full refund. No email was sent regarding the refund and 72 hours has passed. My husband contacted customer service and they said they would refund the rest in 7-10 business days. Not sure why we didn't get the "full" refund within 72 hours like their email indicated.

some good, some bad

I've been on a total of four Allegiant flights, all from BLV to PIE back and forth. Three of the four were delayed by 2 hours.

Good communication of the delays. Good customer service by calling their phone #.

Pleasant crew doing their best, overworked it appeared to me. One poor gal at PIE was working the counter very hard - like a one armed paper hanger. She needed help for sure.

Seats are like metal on metal, no cushion. Let them assign your seats and save over $150. Yes, you get what you pay for... but I'll keep flying them.

Nickled and dime to death.

And Allegiant won't give me easy access to my boarding pass on my phone without downloading an app. They may be a cheap airlines, but they aren't worth the cost.

When I got to the airport there was no…

When I got to the airport there was no one at the luggage counter to grab my checked bags that I paid for. So I had to bring them all through security. By the time I got to the terminal two teenage girls wouldn’t let me on the flight claiming I was late when it was still grounded. They would not refund my $266. The manager was super rude & unprofessional. I went back to the bag counter & this blonde just treated me like a loiterer when I was trying to get my refund & told me to leave the counter. Not only did these generic Charlie’s night banshees ruin my vacation & my business trip, I was inconvenienced my 10 year vacation that took weeks to plan along with hundreds of dollars for hotels with no resolution other than ”Your money is forfeited” from their customer service rep. Who clearly had no idea what she was doing after an excruciating painful wait time on hold. I had to wait hours for a cab because it was after a Packer game & they were the only cab in town. I emailed their customer service and got the same canned response. I asked repeatedly for a legal representation which they constantly dodged. Worst experience ever. I do not plan on, or recommend flying with this company ever. Spend the extra money & use a reputable airline that will actually let you on the flight you paid for instead of an off brand that profits & takes advantage of the average man. Stain shame & dishonor amongst these thieves.

It was Very good

First Overall, we flew from Indianapolis to Los Angeles. The woman named Alexis What is the working at the front counter? She was incredible. Not only did she check us in but she helped us with our baggage. We had a carry-on that had to be put under the plane. She didn’t charge us saved us $75.

Allegiant canceled my return flight…

Allegiant canceled my return flight home, they blamed it on bad weather 🤔 even though there were no reports of bad weather in the region I was traveling. Therefore they said I wasn’t entitled to any refund/credit. Even though a link, that was provided in the text informing me that flight was cancelled, said I would receive a refund. So think twice about choosing this airline!

Purchased ticket online and spoke to agent on phone

Purchased ticket online, set up wheel chair and ADA assistance for our disabled son. Then 24 hours before flight, called Allegiant again to confirm ADA assistance on plane and wheel chair assistance getting to the gate. When we got to the ticketing counter, the woman was so rude. I asked her to read the notes provided by the telephone agent that we spoke to, and her 1st response was that she wasn't in the reservation yet. Then a minute later she started in on us not having boarding passes printed. I then assertively asked her to again read the notes, which must have set her off, because she basically scolded me in front of these other people waiting in line, then refused to even look or speak to me further. Once my wife asked the same question, about the notes, the lady at least spoke to her and said there were no notes in the system. How in the hell can you set up assistance online, and again over the phone, and Allegiant still couldn't get the info straight. The ticket lady, or woman, because she certainly didn't act like a lady, even tried to charge us the $5 per gate pass, even though the companies policy is to waive that fee for handicapped individuals. Just a complete mess, a rude employee, and failed assistance for our disabled child. I know I know, cheap airline, expect this type of service. WRONG!! Whether you charge $100 per flight or $1000 per flight, customer service should not be price driven. Treat everyone equally, and the disabled better. F U Allegiant!
