DO NOT USE THIS SITE - TAKING THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT

DO NOT USE THIS SITE....I ordered stuff from this site, they took the money and even though I paid for first class delivery I'm still waiting for my costume. I rang the number on the website and it wasn't answered on numerous occasions. I even managed to find a mobile number. When the guy answered he told me to use the website, then hung up and I've not got through to him since. I believe that this Company is totally untrustworthy so I'm now going to take them to the Small Claims Court to try to retrieve my money.

Excellent company

Ordered 2 pink ladies jackets onthe 30th hoping they'd arrive onthe 31st as put 24 tracked. They did!! Great service would use again, also Credit to Royal Mail too! Thankyou!!

Terrible!

I bought an Egyptian bracelet from this company. The actual bracelet was really cheap and tacky and not at all like the picture on their website. It cost more in postage to send back. I definitely would not recommend using them.

Shambolic service!

Do not order a costume over the weekend as you will never get to cancel it. The manager is very unhelpful and basically a nippy cow. They will charge you for the postage even when you do get to cancel your order. Won't be ordering from them again.

Hi Carol, unfortunately when you called us to request to cancel your order it had already been sent. This is why we were unable to refund your postage. Had you called us before it had been sent we would have been able to cancel the order and fully refund you. When I informed you of this you became extremely rude and aggressive and started shouting down the phone at me before hanging up. I appreciate it is frustrating that you weren't able to cancel your order but once a parcel has been sent and is no longer in our hands all we can ask you to do is send it back to us when it arrives.

WORST service EVER

I rang up for a pirate outfit for my son and the lady I spoke to (who claimed she was the owner!) was the most unhelpful person you could possibly imagine. They basically didn't have any stock for pirate outfits and I asked what stock they did have and she said "check the website". So I went through the painful process of choosing outfit after outfit to be told "we don't have that...(repeatedly)" she went on to say "it's not my fault we're sold out". When I asked if she could recommend anyone she was offended saying "I could hardly recommend a competitor". I finally had enough of the appalling service and decided to give tell her some home truths likening her attitude to the COMPUTER SAYS NO character from Little Britain and then put the phone down. I will never reward a company for such an poor attitude.
BE WARNED.

When you rang I confirmed that all our Pirate Costumes were unfortunately out of stock and that our stock levels are visible on the website. However you gave me each individual product code so I could double check for you and confirm that each one was indeed out of stock. I was unable to recommend a competitor to you but If you went onto Google and searched for fancy dress you would find many other companies to choose from. This is when you started mocking me with your "computer says no" impression which was both extremely rude and unnecessary. I can only apologise that all the costumes you enquired about were out of stock. You called just after World Book Day had finished and we had sold out of nearly everything!

Appalling service, and attitude to match.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to write such a poor review, but feel that the level of service we received and the complete and utter lack of any customer service Warranted other potential customers to know what they are potentially letting themselves in for. We ordered three outfits from this company and paid for a next day service, costing in the region of £65.00. In their defence we did receive the goods the next day, but that is just about the end of the good news. all three outfits were unsuitable for a variety of reasons, so we decided to return them the same day at our own experience (£10.50 by registered post). A number of days later we received an email advising that they would credit us £ 34.94 with no explanation as the difference in price., after we questioned this we were advised that one outfit was marked and therefore they would credit anything for it. We pointed out to them that this outfit had being tried on for a maximum of 20 seconds and that there is no way it could have been marked by us., and they just simply said it is marked so no refund. The attitude of the manager was appalling, and has left us insulted and upset. I would avoid using this company at all costs., or be faced in my opinion with experiencing the poorest customer service possible. You have been warned :)

Great Father Christmas Outfit - delivered next day

I recently ordered a Father Christmas outfit (deluxe, plus-size), along with some accessories (glasses, gloves, eyebrows).

Goods were delivered first thing the following morning - which was much faster than I expected having only paid for 'economy' delivery.

The Father Christmas outfit is brilliant! Brightly coloured and soft material. Had great fun trying it on - fits well (with a little extra stuffing!) It's great that the kit included boot covers, wig, beard and hat too. Quality looks reasonable, and should stand up to a few Christmas present runs!

My only disappointment was with some of the additional accessories I'd paid extra for - the glasses are a bit flimsy and the gloves a little small despite being 'one size fits all'. But these are minor considerations.

Overall, I am really happy with the purchase and hope my little Niece won't recognise me come the big day!

Sent the wrong size then tried to charge me to return *AVOID*

I ordered a costume for my son, The size on the website was 11-12(Large)
I paid £9.95 to guarantee next day delivery. When it arrived the invoice said 11-12, the packaging said 8-10.
I called them and spoke to an very unhelpful member of staff who stated that in their opinion the costume would fit an 11 year old. IT DIDN'T!!
They then said I could return it, at my own expense, and they would refund the cost of the costume but not the postage.
Incidently my return postage cost (next day delivery) Royal Mail was £4.95 .
I am now £15 out of pocket . Avoid this scamming shambles of a company at all costs.

Not particularly helpful

Ordered a fancydress outfit on The wednesday delivery and paid extra for delivery on the Friday. Item didn't arrive on time, but they refused to refund the the postage. Will NEVER use again.

Just poor, poor customer service. How do they expect returning customers when they use the line, it is only an 'estimated' time but simlarly quote 96% success rate?

I suggest you don't bother if you are in a hurry. Too risky shopping with them.

8 YEAR OLD WITH NOTHING TO WEAR

Ordered a fantastic mr fox costume for my 8 year old daughter to wear on Roald dahl day. Costume was ordered on the 9th of September with delivery on the 11th, an extra £6.50 was paid so that the costume would arrive on time. Got an email from them with a tracking no. When the costume didn't arrive, I gave them a call. Spoke to Luke who said that he had never seen this before, he would check it out and try to get get back to me. After a couple of hours I called them back to find out what was happening and they had called royal mail but didn't have any other information. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, I said to her that I really needed to know if I will get the costume by tomorrow as my daughter need it on monday.She said that she didn't know as it was still being investigated. I asked her to send out a new costume and she said that the only way she could do this was if I paid another £28 and I could send back the other if it arrived. She couldn't quite get the fact that I am the one who has been let down by her company, I am the one who is out of pocket and my daughter is the child who has no costume. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Awful customer service!

After receiving my cowgirl outfit, I decided this was not quite right for me very cheap material and flimsy. After sending it back I was refused a refund as I'd not put it back in the original plastic bag!!!! I am aware of my rights knowing that the company should still fully refund you under the distance selling regulations they cannot insist that an item is returned in it's original packaging! I find it appalling that even though the item was sent back unused and pristine I did not even receive part refund or apology/credit note etc. This company is a joke and not inclined to keep repeat business at all. They are on to the fact that's it's a one off item people purchase otherwise they'd have no customers ! Please don't use absolutely disgusting customer service!

Next day delivery....really?!?!

Ordered a ladybug costume for my niece when her nursery decided last minute to put on a show. She needed the costume by 4th June for dress rehearsals, I placed the order on 3rd June well before the cut off time and chose to pay for guaranteed next day delivery, I took the day off work to wait in for it....it never arrived!! It's now the 5th and its still not here, not only am I a day missing in wages but I also have a very upset 4yr old niece! On reading the small print on the delivery terms it says they will only deal with late delivery if item hasn't arrived after 10 days...I paid for NEXT DAY delivery not delivery within the next 10 days!

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE, RUDE.

Recently ordered a £30 costume and when I had received the costume it had marks on it. As the faulty items returns policy is only 3 days i was unable to send back during that time, however was sent back within the 7 day normal returns policy. I was refused a refund and with many attempts of proving that the costume was not worn or marked and nothing was done. The manager was rude and provided very poor customer service and the quality of the costumes were appalling. I WILL NEVER BUY OFF HERE AGAIN.

Great quality, Great Choice, Great Price!

I ordered a Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) Sparkly Costume & a Fantastic Mr Fox Costume. The communication about the order was great - keeping me up to date, the delivery service was great & the costumes were great quality - far far nicer than I thought they would be - the Dorothy Costume is fab - not scratchy & super sparkly - a big hit. Fantastic Mr Fox is lovely, a well made jacket & cravat & a really nicely made hat \ head. I am thrilled !

Rude telephone manner

I ordered 3 costumes from them which arrived promptly, but due to an error on my part, were not the ones I ordered. I originally asked for replacements, but noted later on line that the costume I wanted was out of stock (which I had not been told), so when I returned the costumes I instead asked for a refund. In hindsight I should have phoned the company as well to tell them about my decision. When I had not received a full refund of the costumes, I phoned and was treated quite rudely, at one stage the call ended so abruptly I thought I had been cut-off (I hadn't - the person on the other end simply hung-up). So maybe a little more courtesy in dealing with customers is called for, even when the customer has made a mistake (as I had) - hence only 4 stars instead of 5.
