Make sure they deliver what you order!
I ordered a custom made pallet to ship a ride-on mower abroad. I asked for a strong construction to take 350kg especially as it was going to Italy and would have to change lorries several times. When it arrived I was dubious about it's strength but not having any experience of pallets and trusting the knowledge and experience of a company that deals in pallets all day every day I hoped it was the right one. As a precaution I reinforced the pallet myself with extra pieces of wood and it was lucky I did otherwise it wouldn't have made the journey. When it was lifted onto the forklift it bowed and it soon became obvious that the pallet was not fit for purpose. By some miracle it arrived in Italy, part of the pallet was broken off in places. I contacted the company about this but they said it was what I ordered and they wouldn't agree to refund the £68 or any part of it.
