Can you say HORRIBLE

Omg these people are the worst when it comes to customer service. It t00k 20 minutes for them to still not fully answer one question. They lie and say "please give me a minute to research your question" which is bs because they return minutes later only to not have an answer and ask how is your day....fareal??? My Shade detector picks up a little shady business dealing when I talk to these people. Everything else outside an auto loan offer is also a waste and scam. Note they have stopped introducing themselves by name as well I see. Smdh and cussin at the same time🙄

Staff is not helpful and not able to resolve issues

We just recently purchased a 2024 Ford F250 Superduty and it is financed with Ally. My Fiance and myself are on the loan. Both of our phone numbers are listed as well. I kept getting calls from New Orleans number and they never left a message so I was hesitant to answer the phone. After 3 days of phone calls, I call this number back to discover it is Ally Bank. I asked the girl why they kept calling me and she kept telling me she was calling in regards to my Fiance. She would not give me any answers so I hung up, finished my lunch, and called back on Speaker phone with my Fiance present. Icy basically had the same attitude. She would blow off what I had to say no matter how many times she was told by us that we are both on the loan for this truck. She completely ignored my request asking that if they are going to call my number to please leave a message as to why they are calling or to call my Fiance directly at his number if they do not wish to share information with me. I felt my request was being ignored so I asked to speak to a supervisor. She asked me my reason and I told her then she puts me on hold as though she is getting a supervisor. She gets back on the line to tell me that I needed to call Customer Care to speak to a Supervisor. I hung up. I am not impressed by the staff and how they treat their customers. I am almost tempted to have our truck refinanced with another bank. I hope I never have to do business with this bank again.

Ally has the worst auto loan rates nI have ever had. I had a mishap with a out of state dealer and had to go with Ally. I have a high credit score and they gave me 8% loan rate. Absolute garbage! Avoid getting a auto loan at all cost from them.

Declined to open savings account for weird reason

I had a trading account with Ally Invest for 5+ years for occasional stock trades, mostly long-term. Recently I tried to open a savings account with their 3.2% rate, but the application was rejected with “we couldn’t verify your identity.”

I called support and provided all the basic details, but they kept repeating the same questions without explaining much. I have a 760+ credit score and US citizenship, but when they asked for my employer name and income, I politely declined. That might have been the reason.

Not a big deal — I’ll just open a savings account somewhere else, but it was a waste of time.

I dispute my charges with customer service people they didn't investigate landshark car wash this people close their business and still charging customer they have my credit card on their file I request Ally credit card to dispute those charges they refuse to remove my charges another credit card company remove charges right away till dispute pending but Ally credit card refuse to do that just like well fargo abuse they customer this Ally credit card just like that avoid Ally BANK and Ally credit card.

DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!! I just opened up my checking account 2 weeks ago .. every representative had no clue how to fix my Zelle issue. One person gets Zelle three others do not and even a manager who was extremely rude does not why nor opens a ticket number to get this figured out. They blame the recipients bank two of them which was Chase and both Chase managers had no clue what ally was talking about saying something is wrong on chases end. This is a waste of time and no wonder why they get horrible reviews! They wouldn’t even give me corporate number and told me to google it!!!!!!!!!

This bank is a sham

This bank is a sham. I got a notice out of nowhere that they were closing my account in 5 days. Weirdest thing ever. I contacted customer service and talked to three people, no one could tell me why my account was being closed but it could not be reversed?? I had direct deposits connected to the account that I never received because they posted after the account closed. DO NOT USE!!

Tried to open an account with Ally. Gave them all the information they required. Got an email stating Ronald, after reviewing your application, we determined we can't open an Ally Bank account for you right now.

Here's why:
Your application either didn't meet our requirements, or we couldn't verify your identity.

As an online bank, we can't verify a person's identity face-to-face, so we use commercially available databases. This decision wasn't based on data from a consumer credit reporting agency.
Even talked with a person on the phone that acted like a total idiot.
I wouldn't even want to open an account with them now. More than likely, I bet their Customer service is in another Country.

Paid off no title

I paid off my vehicle and getting any paper work or title from them is like pulling teeth
Every time i call them i get a different answer its like they hire the dumbest people they can find
I was told im overnighting you a pay off letter 6 days go by so i call them and the guy tells me that the letter went out regular mail

Buyers Beware : Ally financial are crooks . Sometimes you have to take people, places and things for who they are. My car was declared a total loss . Ally is so greedy and such a liar that they put that I owed 3 thousand plus dollars over my loan which GAP refused to pay. When I spoke to the total loss department I was sent to another department who attempted to send me back to total loss to get the documentation needed to send to my attorney. Ally Financial are Crooks at its finest. Beware don’t deal with them in regards to financing a vehicle. Sometimes we are anxious due to the circumstances in which quick decisions put us in a deeper hole later on down the line. My attorney will handle it from here..

Ally Online Savings

I only use Ally as an online savings account. I only access Ally through their website on my laptop and the experiences have been good for several years. The transfers between my other bank always occur within a day or two. The rare times I have to call into customer service I reach them quickly and they are helpful. Given all the poor reviews I see on this website I wonder if the phone apps are poor, however my experiences have been easy and seamless having never encountered a problem.

I called to dispute a chart on my part…

I called to dispute a chart on my part and they said they would not help me. I didn’t have the information of the people that charged my card so I couldn’t dispute it with them. So I asked them to close my card and I paid it in full. The next day I was charged a $27 fee for being late on how much money that they told me I owed them that day I paid it in full. And now I’m getting a bill 30 days later. I only had the card for less than six months. I will never use this company again. It’s the biggest waste of time piece of shit. Screw you with their high interest rates no thanks. You should burn in hell for what you do.

Financed a Truck and paid it off within the first 90 days. They sent the title through the mail(normal not certified) and it got lost. They NOW SAY. They are sending me a release of lien and I have to go to the DMV to get a new title. BOY WITH SERVICE LIKE THIS WHAT COULD GO WRONG?? You would think they would send titles to cars in certified mail so they KNOW THE CLIENT RECEIVES AND IMPORTANT DOCUMENT. STAY AWAY FROM ALLY!!!!!!!!

Ally Bank disputing a charge is a nightmare

I got charged twice on my ally debit card for netflix. I called Netflix first and they confirmed no issue on their end. They received payment only once. Called Ally bank. What a disaster. After asking 25 identification questions,they blamed Netflix and then started the dispute process. What a night mare. They want you to stop using your ally card going forward with Netflix. How about fix the issue? No. How about stop reading 600000000000 pages of disclosures over the phone?

I would give them a ZERO if I can! Good luck trying to payoff the high interest rate at Ally. They will make excuses to reject the payoff check from another bank. This happened twice. They don't want us to payoff to collect the 24% rate that I am paying at Alley. Pool system and checks and balance!!
