I did free subscription but later sent…

I did free subscription but later sent cancellation letter to the customer service but no response. To my surprise, money has been deducted from my account. Moreover, their website reads-Your connection isn't private

No search option, cancel subscription link is hard to find.

Though, I did not try to actually listen to any audio books on the site. I immediately cancelled my free subscription, the link to which you can only find by going through their terms of use statement (which seems to be deliberately hard to find). Both the website and App do not provide a way for you to search for any titles. I will see if they actually do honour my cancellation of the subscription.

Refused to refund me after difficulties cancelling free trial

I couldn't find any books I wanted. When I thought I found books they were just reviews of books I liked. Didn't use the website at all then got charged €25 even though I had a date of the trial set to cancel on my calendar 3 days after the payment was taken. They sent me a cancellation link which worked, but no refund. Usually companies give refunds in these circumstances.

No recent books + very difficult cancellation process

Has a very limited selection of books and is SO hard to cancel the free trial. No response to my requests to cancel and no way to find out how to cancel via the website - not in FAQs. I found out how to cancel by reading another review on here so am highlighting it again for anyone else having trouble: Enter the address of the website and add /cancel. Scroll RIGHT down to the bottom of the page to find the tiny button - it does work! Very grateful to the person that wrote that review.

Scam!!

Scam!!! Yes it is very easy to sign up… BUT if you want to cancel it’s an absolute nightmare!!! There is no quick easy button to press or human to talk to.

A DOUBLE SCAM

I was looking for a particular book. AYCB came up as having it with a free trial. they refused 2 of my cards (for use after the 30 day free trial) but then took my bank card. THEN - they didn't have the book I wanted or anything by that author and no way to search by author! I went to the help page to cancel and got connected with a chat WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE ANOTHER SCAM!! They wanted to charge me $5 to connect me with customer service!! I deleted that sorry for not having that name. A DOUBLE SCAM!

Customer service NON-EXISTENT

Customer service NON-EXISTENT. VERY EASY TO SIGN UP, but have to JUMP through a gazillion loops to CANCEL. NOT easy to find that page at all.
Reason to cancel: NONE OF BOOKS I READ ARE THERE. Although the website says there are all sorts of books available, I did NOT find any that are current. The only books that are available are OUT OF DATE. AND Since i could NOT cancel, they charged me.... like these companies do.
RECOMMENDATION: use your public library to get these books, and in fact the selection at the public libraries are FAR better than the selection this company has.
STAY Away from this company.
