Alm. Brand become a horrible bully of a company to work with when you try to leave them, and will try to scrape every last kroner the can from you. I’ve had so many problems - simply too many to list - and I’ve spent hours trying to resolve all them both on the phone and via email and STILL - 6 months later - they continue to send me bills which should have been resolved with hundreds of kr in rykker fees on top, with no willingness to help fix the mistakes they have made. Avoid at all costs.

I'm very satisfied with the overall service of Alm. Brand. I just had a case, and I got very quick and very satisfactory support.
Also, the original discussion for the offer was professional and helpful.

I have recently started with Alm Brand.
Salesman came to my home,which is all good. I agreed on private and company insurance, then the nightmare,could not use PBS so I pay. Then 4 new bills come I have tried on 6 occasions and sms to the salesman on phone number he gave me and still has not!!!!! Rude!!!! Why 4 to 6 different bills to pay more cost and time for me. 1 bill for everything ÷into12 easy payments

Currently looking for new insurance providers.

Your employee explained everything to me in detail, but also he gave me a personal contact, so that in the future, if I need additional information I can check with him directly 😀

Cons:
Alm. Brand sales advisors make false promises

In a call with one of Alm. Brand sales advisors, I asked how can I ensure my electric scooter .. he advised me to buy innboforsikring with some add-on (electronic insurance or bike insrance) and buy an insurance qualified lock.

I bought the insurance add-on, and the lock, and a while later the scooter got stolen from our building closed parking area, with cameras recording the thieves stealing it (along with my neighbours belongings)

Insurance claim was rejected as scooters were not covered, the terms clearly said so, and I'm at fault for not reading them, but that was very fishy from that advisor

Bad customer service, rude customer support.

They promised I can cancel anytime, then I got huge invoice for leaving within 12 month. I just left because I could not stand how naive and careless they are.

I was fooled by Alm Brand advisor...how can a company expect to retain customers if they want customers by deception....I am not sure how they deal with customers when customers need them when the advisor deceives in first meet....
Now the story...
I was contacted by Alm Brand advisor when I posted requirement for home takeover insurance, home insurance and home contents insurance. Meeting was setup 4:30pm after office hours after two days. Then I get a call 7pm a day before scheduled meeting and asked for meeting. I mentioned it is too late and cannot meet in minutes notice. Next day meeting was set for 4:30pm after my office hours but advisor requested for earlier time so gave him time during office hours. Advisor didn't explain any details on insurance and kept on saying "trust him". Got all the details for making insurance. I needed Takeover insurance, home insurance and home contents insurance. Absolutely no details about insurance and quickly showed price for home insurance and home contents. I told i need all three from same insurance company. First he said Home takeover insurance is not required and it is waste of money then he said it will take time to make it so first he will make other two and give offer for third after going back to office.

While he was making offer he asked for account number. I told him I just need a quotation for now and will review it. He said again trust me, it is just that all information is in the system he doesn't have to redo work again. I was so Dumb. He also asked me to sign and again such a dumb thing to do. But he said trust me I work for one of most trusted brands in Denmark. Not sure why I trusted him there were all these red flags. But I should give credit the sales person that he chose a time during office hours and I told I have a meeting soon so he understood that I was in a hurry. Genius thinking if it was planned.
Later in night I see that I got insurance not an offer. I give a call to the insurance advisor later in the evening but he says I can just go and get another insurance this will become void. I couldn't sleep all night as this will eat into my finances as it is difficult time for me.
I made a call to the call center after my work but it is Friday so hopefully they will revert back to me soon. This is so stressful.
The name of the insurance advisor is Lasse Beres Thykier so anyone talking to him be aware. He must be very proud of conning me but I see Alm Brand has long history so I don't think they need this kind of malpractices to get customers.

It is very difficult to get in touch with someone, and after you finally get in touch, they hang up on you.

To get me in some customer it was OK to report an accident with no invoice. In the first call the device age should be over 2 years old to be able to get a refund with no invoice. Next call now you proved it's older than two years we can't help you!
