No longer an MOT testing station causing trust issues
The relevant enforcement agency confirm this Limited UK company is no longer an authorised MOT testing station.
As usual we had arranged both our regular annual service and MOT test. Instructions were given to provide estimates and complete additional work to recommendations only on the previous MOT test completed by Alpha.
It was most surprising to find that our vehicle was, without prior advice to us, taken by Alpha Automobiles Ltd to an approved MOT testing station that was a considerable distance away in Billingshurst. This meant the work took longer than the expected one day.
There have been concerns from other local MOT testing stations that they are having to provide tests at a modest fee whilst Alpha take the larger profits from completing any necessary work!
This latest website link seems to confirm that RAC (is this verified as current?) certification has replaced that of MOT testing station status.
It is suspicious that there are only excellent reviews provided on the Alpha website associated with "Book My Garage"
