Altrupay is by far one of the most unethical and fraudulent organizations I have ever delt with. I can personally attest that their sales reps are dishonest and deceitful at best, straight up lie at worst. Nathan Vanderpoel (Account Executive) and Bill Glass (Chief Revenue Officer) lie and cheat.
In my case, I was having discussion with Nathan Vanderpoel and asking questions to understand their pricing T&Cs. I must also say that their contract proposals are extremely difficult to read and are extremely convoluted, even after significant time spent trying to comprehend. Based on this, I asked Nathan to confirm over email my understand of the fees which was $10.90 per month in fixed ($7.95 and $2.95) and variable fees of 0.5% of every dollar and 0.20 per swipe. Nathan responded with “confirmed”.
The actual amount you will get charged will be nearly 500% more than what you were told at $50.85 per month, and this is at NO credit card swipes (so no variable fees). Seeing this huge discrepancy, I tried to work amicably with Bill Glass one a one-on-one basis. He told me there "there was a significant disconnect" between what Nathan told me and the fees charged, and that if he can't make this right, he will "personally close everything out". Bill Glass ended up stabbing me in the back by sending my account to collections where its now showing on my personal credit.
If you’re considering this company, do yourself a favor and avoid it like your life depends on it. Predatory tactics used and they can't be trusted.

My true experience with AltruPay has been nothing but wonderful. Kyle King is the man. He has always been very responsive. I have sent several of my clients over to Bill and Kyle and they have nothing but good things to say. I was setup six months ago and I have not had any problems with purchases or deposits. I can always count on the deposits being made to my bank so much so that I never even check anymore, that's how much faith I have in AltruPay. I spent years and lost allot money using other companies that always lost their banks or accounts were suspended, which meant I lost money, but that is not the case with these guys. I will continue to be a customer of AltruPay for years to come. Just call the number, ask for Kyle and I promise you will be satisfied with this very honest and hard working guy and this great company.
Communication from Altrupay was poor until I complained loud enough. Had to request new user login information as it was not sent as it was supposed to be. Had to call 3 times to get help setting up integration with QuickBooks as the included instructions for poor or just incomplete. Was not informed of extra monthly expense to have an integration "plug-in" to link transactions to. QuickBooks. I originally contacted Tactical Pay for help processing Credit cards and was not told I would really be dealing with AltruPay, Authorize.net, and commercesync. This would not be a problem if I had at least been informed of this in the beginning. The whole process was not simple, fast, or convenient in anyway. I would find another service if it wouldn't take another week or two to get it set up. Josh my salesman has been helpful but was not kept in the loop as evidenced by my complaint of not hearing anything about my app and he was under the impression I was already up and running. As I said in the beginning, poor communication between the members of the team.
Tried connecting with shopify will not allow the connection tried reaching out for help multipul times shopify sucks and altru pay should have said something beforehand its been a chore trying to get a firearms buisness going. Waisted so much just waiting around for nothing.
They are scammer , First for my business they said its high risk business we can't make gateway up for you then there a guy Bill Glass who said I'll make it work kindly Pay 300$ for Lifetime membership . I have signed documents + Proof of payment which I paid 300$ to altrupay.com . but after payment few time they just stop the gateway and now no one is answering any query . I had all documents signed with me and them payments proof. no one believe them they are totally scam . if anyone need proof kindly ping me I'd love to share all details . I can't upload here other wise I must add here also all the details.
