Quick, efficient, intuitive

Amberscript is quick, efficient, intuitive to use, and impressingly correct in my language (Swedish). The timing of subtitles needs to be checked and sometimes corrected - mostly it's the "out points" which comes to early - but it has improved a lot, and is easily adjusted in current interface. It makes my life a lot easier and I highly recommend it!

Complete waste of money

Complete waste of money. I had an audio file transcribed from Swiss German to German. Almost nothing was captured. Very disappointed.

Lack of transparent pricing

Lack of transparent pricing - monthly subscription can only cancelled after 3 months? Transcription performance was poor compared to other competitors.

I love the ease of using Amberscript

I love the ease of using Amberscript. I used to struggle with generating meeting minutes from board meetings, but through the use of Amberscript I've cut my processing time down significantly. This service allows me to significantly increase my efficiency.

Lost everything

Used the recording on the app and afterwards I couldn’t download the audio. Then I paid €20 to get a transcript, but also got nothing in return. So now I have lost the audio, spend €20 and don’t have a transcript

Company's Payment Failure Spells Trouble for Freelancers

Unsettlingly, amberscript has shown a significant lapse in financial responsibility since May. Freelancers, integral to its operation, have been left unpaid, thrusting many into precarious financial straits. The delay in payments is not just disheartening, but ethically questionable, undermining trust in the company's reputation. Urgent reform is needed to ensure the livelihoods of its freelance community, as this treatment is both unfair and unsustainable. It's hard to support a business that fails to adequately compensate its hardworking contributors.

Misleading Advertising - Stay away!

Amberscript's claim of being ISO certified on its website is an outright lie and only meant to lure in potential customers. Once you look at the fine print, it becomes clear that they are merely relying on the certifications of other services to create a false impression of security and trustworthiness.

This tactic is as credible as claiming that my business is ISO27001 and 9001 certified because I use Gmail.

Amberscript's claim of being ISO certified is an attempt to manipulate and mislead unsuspecting customers. Beware!

The service itself was good, but I was charged for extra 5 months without my subscription

The service itself was good, I was able to use it when I needed but without my consent they started to charge me 25 dollars every month, thought I did not need and did not use the service. After my e-mail to the company I had quick response of the representative with the information that I'll not be charged for the services I did not use, though in their information it is included that if you buy membership, it is for several months, not only for one month as I thought. So be careful when buying your membership.

What a wonderful tool

I interview English speakers with all sorts of accents from all over the world. I pop the interviews into Amberscipt and "boom", good, clear transcripts every time. Makes my life so much easier! Thank you!!!!

Accurate audio to text transcription at last!

Over the past many years I've periodically "checked in" to see how transcription from audio to text was doing. This generally meant buying a program that less than half worked. I knew one day it would become possible. It is now possible. The editing I do is very seldom due to an mis-transcription of a word, and this is from audio sometimes fifteen years old. Most editing is to improve punctuation peculiar to my speaking style, not to the content itself. What more could I ask? Nothing. This is the best transcription experience ever, bar none.

Very good transcription service.

Very good transcription service.
I have used Amberscript several times, by now. It is very good even with interviews as it recognizes different voices and assignes them to the correct speaker. As transcription reports timing, you can easily check any doubtul transcription. Some error might be caused by omophonic sounds in case two different transcription might be equally appropriate in a phrase, but it is not a big issue, usually: you can check long transcription in a few minutes. The only point is that I usually do a lot of paragraph separation and editing, but this is not related to the service.
If you want you can even choose a human review of the transcription but I have to be honest: it is not necessary, unless you are really short of time or have not good proofchecking and editing skills
I found that writing articles or book can become really faster you record your thoughts and then transcript and edit them.
