Virginia was rude to me during the bike show when I was talking to her I felt put off by her attitude and her changing price on me out of nowhere. I went elsewhere after as she did not know what she was talking about and was all over the place for pricing.

A loose part (my fault) fell off my Aventon bike this morning. I went to Amego at lunch and they fixed me up right away. Great shop.

I am very pleased with my Aventon Aventure M! I was a little concerned about shipping damage due to my remote location however the Amego staff explained the procedure if damage was to occur. The display screen did have a crack across the top so I used the chat tool to inquire about a replacement and one was shipped to me the next business day! I am very pleased with the customer service at both the Toronto and Calgary locations, top notch and two thumbs up! Will definitely recommend...thank you! Now on to riding :-)

I visited Amego in Calgary Alberta with about 10 different bikes mike approached me and asked what kind of riding I was looking at doing and within 10 minutes I was riding a bulls iconic tr 2. I bought the bike and mike walked me through the bike and him and Brandon helped me load the bike as well. The bike also had a retail of $9000 and I got it from them for $4500. Awesome shop, great service and friendly staff.

I would have given less than 1 star if it was possible. They don't answer phone calls or emails after making a sale and blamed me, the customer for a mistake that one of their staff created. I would definitely look elsewhere if you want good service after making a purchase from here.

I have tried to chat online to inquire about bikes, was put in the queue, and no one got back to me. After the weekend (Monday), I filled out my personal contact information with questions and again nothing. For three or four days I have been trying to get a response and was very interested in one of their bikes. Not even an email. This certainly doesn’t promote trust not to mention very disappointed in this business.

My experience with Amegoev.com for my recent purchase of a 4200$ e-bike has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by a series of frustrating oversights and ultimately unhelpful customer service.
Upon delivery, it was immediately apparent the bike was completely unprepared for use. The tires had no air—a basic necessity for any bicycle—and critically, the package did not include any tools required for assembly, nor any assembly instructions whatsoever. This meant the bike was unusable straight out of the box, requiring immediate additional effort and resources from my end. What's even more frustrating is that all that was needed for assembly were maybe one or two simple Allen keys; basic tools that should absolutely be included.
The problems didn't stop there. To my dismay, I discovered the tire valves are an uncommon type, necessitating the purchase of a specialized pump. This was yet another unexpected expense and inconvenience, meaning I couldn't even inflate the tires with a standard bicycle pump I already own.
When I contacted customer support to address these significant omissions—the missing tools, instructions, and the specialized pump requirement—the representatives were polite, but their response was frankly shocking. Instead of offering solutions or apologies for the incomplete delivery, I was informed that they offer a '$250 option for professional assembly.' This felt like a deliberate tactic to upsell a service that should have been unnecessary had the product been delivered in a truly ready-to-assemble state with appropriate basic inclusions. It's unacceptable to receive a product that cannot be assembled or even inflated by the customer without further expense.

I purchased a Stromer ST1X from Amego Electric Vehicles in Toronto in 2021 for $4000. In 2024 (post warranty) with just over 1000km on the bike, the wheel hub/motor needed replacing ($1500). Last month the bike stopped working and I was advised by Amego that the controller and TMM sensor need replacing and it will be $2000 to get my bike working. Amego has been unwilling to go to Stromer to get an extension on the warranty or to work with me. I even referred my husband there (before being aware of the extent of my bike's problems) and he purchased a bike for over $5000. My bike has just 1500km on it and has always been stored in a heated garage. How can a $4000 bike with low mileage already have $4000 in repairs? Regular maintenance was done with Amego Electric Vehicles. Store management is poor and the owner, Virginia Block, refuses to even call me. Don't waste your money here.

Worst experience ever. Waited months for an electric bike I had purchased. Didn't end up with that one. Bought another one for over $2000 and it was too big for me. Tried to contact customer service with NO reply. Don't shop there.
