so it's working OK but only 2 days old
but I need an additional shelf in the fridge, the parts selector is a joke, and it's near impossibl to contact them , you fill out the form and t refuses to accept postcode so will not send the
message, the same applies when you try to register the appliance

FAILED AFTER 2.5 YEARS. I bought an Amica fridge freezer BK2963FA in September 2022 on the recommendation of Appliance Direct. The Amica has just failed .. it cost £488.97 plus delivery and installation .. total waste of money. Amica wanted £155 for a callout with no guarantee of repair.

Really cheap design and make. The fridge broke quickly. It is very flimsy. It is constantly on charging. The washing machine doesn't tell you when it is finished. Often the clothes come out just as dirty (only in different spots) than before washing. I wouldn't bother!

I understand that things can develop faults. Amica Washing Machine stopped working whilst under guarantee. Its been over 6 weeks and still no repair. They came out and said they needed to order parts. Since then they have cancelled 2 appointments on the day, saying their service vehicle has broken down.
I do not believe this is true. Young children. Need to buy a new machine as can't wait any longer.

NEVER BUY AMICA !!!!!

Bought a dual oven just under three years ago...the door doesn't shut properly, the top gets scratched VERY easily and it does not hold in heat. Food takes souch longer to cook. The oven is loud.nyou can hear to floor inside buckling when it heats up. The light that indicates a ring is on has not turned off in three years and two electricians have cleared it before it comes back.

I thought I had such a good deal but please do not waste your money on it. I will be changing as soon as possible.

Bought a cooker 3.5 years ago, had to have it repaired 5 times! Save your money and spend that bit extra on a better brand it will be worth it in the long run.

Bought a new slimline fridge freezer about a year ago. Some liquid started leaking about 5 months ago and it's still leaking. Smells disgusting in the fridge but I keep cleaning it out and it's just smells rank so something is very wrong. You'd like it would last longer than a few months!

Bought an Amica oven in autumn 2020 and the grill and small second oven has packed up already.

I have been trying for weeks to get information about an Amica product. Three webpage enquiry forms submitted; three emails; phone call (still waiting for a call back). I feel it is a stretch to accept Amica has any form of customer service/support.
My query is simple, where can I find one of their retailers in Europe that deliver to Spain so I can order an Amica appliance? They have a factory in Poland are called Amica International yet seem incapable of responding to my enquiry!

Amica oven in883w stuck in demo mode has happened many times but now instructions to remove left by engineer do not work rang for help but told over 3years old buy a new one nothing wrong with this one when out 0f demo

Had an appointment booked nobody called when I rang and spoke with counsellor I was told that my counsellors was off sick and counsellors are humans too. Was just told they would pass the message on. This was from an actual counsellor who had 0 empathy and despicable customer service skills

Absolutely rubbish dishwasher always needs something washed again it is terrible The cups always have marks in the bottom the plates have thing stuck to them. The worst dishwasher I have ever owned. DO NO T BUY THIS DISHWASHER

Amica ADF650WH Dishwasher - a completely hopeless dishwasher. It doesnt wash anything, uses a lot of everything and is just a hopeless money pit. More landfill... stop putting rubbish in to the world

Purchased an Amica 50/50 fridge freezer. Am happy with the overall look of the unit and the size is perfect for the limited area I have in the kitchen. The unit is actually not 50/50. The fridge is larger than the freezer?!? This I can cope with but what I am not happy with is the condensation that constantly forms on the back of the fridge resulting in a permanent trickle of water running down the inside back wall of the fridge and gathering in the lip at the bottom of the fridge. I presume I will have to keep pulling out the unit to empty the water tray at the back of the fridge due to this permanent presence of water??? I have never experienced this problem with previous fridge freezers and due to this issue would not recommend this fridge freezer!!

I had been looking to replace my existing fridge, an LEC [white undercounter] which has a small ice/freezer compartment at the top, which I’ve had for the past 20 years and is still going strong, whilst looking somewhat dated for the recently re decorated kitchen. I was looking for something which combined both the size of the existing fridge but with a larger freezer compartment. I searched through the various and numerous websites available at several brands and makes of models, including SMEG, Indesit, Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Bosch and LEC etc; however found 'Amica-international' advertising the ‘Amica Retro Fridge Freezer [Duck Egg Blue]’ which struck me as being not only stylish, sturdy and definitely ‘Retro’ which is the style I was looking for but also a good solid design in addition to the great colour ‘Duck Egg Blue’. The website was easy to use and user friendly, and the process of ordering was stress free. There were several retailers shown where to buy it from and eventually found what I was looking for on the ‘Comet’ website’ .[Purchased 28-05-2022] I received a phone call from the logistics company a few days later to confirm the delivery date [Delivered on 07-06-2022] and about half an hour before delivery received a phone call from the delivery courier stating they were almost here. The two couriers were professional, helpful and polite considering they had to carry it up four flights of stairs including 8 landings. The ‘Amica Retro Fridge Freezer’ was well packed, sufficiently wrapped and securely boxed although upon unboxing and unwrapping found there were slight elongated indentations to the lower sides which I suspect had occurred during major transportation where it had been either stacked and/or piled/compressed against other heavier boxes. With the castor wheels positioned at the rear, it is certainly easier to manoeuvre and the freezer compartment is just the right size as well as the refrigeration section. The instruction leaflets included were easy to read and understand. [Plugged it in and switched it on today [12-06-2022] temporarily as it’s in the far side of the lounge as I’m replacing the carpet and it’s humming away beautifully [the fridge not the carpet] , the interior light really shows everything up inside, and seems good and cold as per instruction leaflet.] The doors are certainly well solid and close immediately upon contact with the main body. Today, 20-06-2022 finally having completed the flooring in the lounge moved the ‘Amica FDR2213DB 55cm 30/70 Retro Fridge Freezer [Duck Egg Blue]’into position in the corner of the kitchen and fits well into required space. The only downside being is that the floor inclines from left to right and I had to build up the right hand side with 1.5 cm of castor wheel protector with several layers of self adhesive tiles cut to size, so it would have been handy to have been able to lock the rear casters into position but there’s no locking mechanism. Having checked with a spirit level, top and sides, it seems to be holding out. It did take me about three hours trying to get it into position as the castor kept rolling of the riser. If it were a rocket I imagine it to launch and take off at any given moment, it is that good. Do remember to register the warranty on the 'Amica' website. So far so good. I haven’t had any cause to contact Customer Services so cannot comment as to their quality of service as yet to date.

Another day goes past, now day 132 of no fridge freezer.
CURRYS, RDA, CDA & AMICA will not help me. Been passed between them with none of them prepared to take accountability.
Please read my previous reviews on the above to understand just how abysmal these companies actually are. They take your money and disappear like a scammer.
I had a call from Curry's a few moments ago asking me for my receipt no then he hung up!!!
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH CURRYS OR AMICA.
DAY 133 tomorrow so will update further.

Purchased dishwasher recently and contacted their customer service department when it stopped working properly. Their first focus seemed to be proving that the problem must be due to damage caused during delivery or due to incorrect fitting. They did eventually agree to send out a replacement part but this has not arrived. Products are cheap but I guess you get what you pay for and I now wish I'd paid more a gone for a better brand. 2 year warranty (that initially attracted me to this brand) does not appear to be backed up. I would suggest you avoid Amica products and I would suggest Amica provide additional training for their customer care team.

Do not purchase any products from this company! Customer service extremely poor . I Purchased a cooker and it exploded the first time I used it . amica replaced the part's seven times in seven months after countless calls and a lifetime of being put on hold. I had to go back and forth to get a replacement and to add insult to injury they refused to install and had the cheek to say they were leaving the broken cooker on the premises . as I said dont bother once they have your money will toss uou aside.
