The servicing was done in a very short time. The updates sent were of great help, and the final cost including return transit was very acceptable. I have the 33 in use as I write this , and the background is silent with the volume up and no music playing.

Rob from Amplabs has transformed my Quad 44 pre- amp which I have owned since 1991. It now sounds wonderful on all inputs. Thank you for your superb service.
My Quad 44 and 405 amps have languished in the loft for a few years and have now been brought back to life. The work done by Amplabs is of the highest class. I opted to have the connections upgraded, a useful addition to be able to use modern connectors. I have had the amps back a week now and the sound is great, much better than my temporary system I had been using.

I'm sorry to say that I'm not normally one who leaves reviews. However I felt compelled to leave one for amplabs. The workmanship, service, quality, price, value for money and expertise that has gone into restoring my quad 33 and 303 is second to none. I am so glad I chose amplabs to do the work. I went for the rear panel upgrade and service on the 33 but went for the high performance upgrade on my 303. And oh my god. what a difference. My music sounds amazing. I picked the amp up after having the work done almost a couple of months ago now. And honestly I've hardly had it turned off. probably only when I sleep, work or am out. I've got a re kindled love of my old jazz records now, and again wow. What a difference. Brilliant sounds. If I had the money I'd buy another to keep as a back up. It's all I want to listen to now. It's that good. Anyway like I said I'm not one for leaving reviews. So I'll wrap this up. Amplabs gets 5 big stars out of 5 from me. One very happy bunny.
