Host of an Airbnb: Misrepresentation bad customer care
Misrepresentation, poor accountability, no consideration for those hiring their Airbnb
To be perfectly honest I am shocked at how we were treated. Andwell & Co were the hosts at a recent Airbnb we stayed at in Milton Keynes - what a drama!! They advertised accommodation for 4 people only to find when we arrived it was a double bed and a single sofa bed. Plates and cups for 3 people only and then the shower got blocked on day 1. We complained and firstly they denied sofa bed could only fit 1 then behind our back changed their listing to 3 bed accommodation. One of my party had to sleep on the floor and because we were attending a festival and had booked the accommodation 6 months in advance - when it was suggested we leave and after reporting the situation to Airbnb - we could not find any availability in the surrounding area. Andwell showed little customer care and was very dismissive. Spoilt our stay and we ended up losing a days festival time sorting out a blocked shower so we could bathe. Not good enough at all! Only gave them 1 star because there is no zero. Never again Andwell!!
