Had a sales rep come out to our home last week. Stayed way over any decent amount of time. (Over 3 hours) kept pushing us to make a decision, making us feel like it was our choice. But it really didn’t feel like that. It was a claustrophobic experience in our home, that ended in us paying a deposit.
Staying up all night with anxiety as to how pushy things had been (sales guy called his boss, who called his mate in the warehouse. Who just so happend to have a son with the same name as our son, so of course gave us an even better deal) have emailed the cancellation team twice about getting our deposit back. Have not had a word back, but the sales guys has rang us numerous times asking if we want to change the order!!
Scammers, con artists, anxiety inducing people.
Please give us our deposit back, take us off your contact list and get your sales man to stop calling us.
Don’t use. Stay away. Be ashamed or yourselves
If there was a zero i would give zero.
After an initial good experience with their sales representative it all went down hill rapidly.
We were due for an installation of a front door and French windows in July. We were told the materials were ready in may.
In July the installer turned up with wrong materials, materials mixing, door with no letter box, trim missing, wrong glass for front door, specific security chains...
The replacements were ordered to come and fortnight after what could be installed was.
The installation of the French doors was shoddy, sealant missing, skirting damaged and not replaced, window sills needing refashion, concrete not applied to the bottom above dampcourse. We had to do it he said. The installer smoked on our garden making roll ups, blaring music from his phone.
We were glad when he'd gone since he was so agitated. He'd been told to cut a letterbox hole. Reluctantly he did and damaged the door a new one was order. He'd cut the door trim too short and the weather lip.
We just wanted them to go and get materials sorted out.
A fortnight later and engineer turned up with a damaged front door. Ordered a new one for a fortnight later.
That engineer turned up with half a French door to install in our front door. They had loaded the wrong door.
A week later they manage to finally finish the installation.
I had sent a lengthy and continuing complaint about this lack of due diligence, incompetence, shoddy workmanship and poor customer care. Throughout the complaints were sent to the regional office. Noone returned my complaint.
So when it came to the final payment I was loathe to pay and had told them so. I was told that complaints were dealt with after installation and full payment received and if I didn't pay the balance the materials would be taken away.
I argued that the complaints policy didn't stipulate that complaints were dealt with on completion to be told that it doesn't not say that either.i complained again abou5 lack of transparent complaints policy and more poor customer service.
Now a manager who i complained about is dealing with the complaint and have been told the company does not issue compensation!!
Really?!?!
Do not use this company it is so shockingly terrible its absurd.

Companies like Anglian are never going to be the cheapest option (hence 4 stars rather than 5), but the service we received was excellent. Particular thanks to Marie Zachariades for the seamless co-ordination; and to our fitter, Mick Gaish, who did an exemplary job. I would definitely use Anglian again.

Muhammad Ahmed was my initial contact with Anglian. He was charming. He reviewed my request for a new kitchen window together with a tight schedule for installing the window to fit in with kitchen refurbishment works. We discussed both pricing and timing and came up with a mutually acceptable solution. I was very impressed with his professionalism. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Extremely happy with the Quality and Craftsmanship of our conservatory.
The installation team, Jason the Builder, Mitch from Bournemouth the fitter were excellent from start to finish, we experienced no problems/disruptions during installation and both were incredibly professional and competent during the process

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Anglian Home Improvements. I had French doors installed and unfortunately the experience has been poor from the installation itself through to the way my complaint has been handled.
During the installation, I noticed the installer, Dave, using his fingers to apply the finishing/sealant material and licking his fingers before continuing. I found this unhygienic and very concerning.
The finished installation was also not to the standard I expected. The concrete/cement around the doors was left looking messy, uneven and untidy. Although I signed the paperwork at the time, I was not happy with the finish after properly inspecting the work.
The most upsetting part of the experience was the way my partner was treated. While the installers were still at our home, she was cleaning up some of the mess left behind and accidentally swept over the seal at the bottom of the door. She immediately apologised and politely asked if it could be rectified. Dave became angry, swore and said, “You females never listen, you all the same.” We both found this extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional.
I raised a formal complaint with Anglian, reference 963450, and was told on 28 July that my concerns had been included in the complaint and that the regional branch would contact me to reach a resolution.
Unfortunately, despite following up, I have received no further response and no one has contacted me to inspect the installation or discuss how the issues will be resolved.
This is particularly frustrating because I am already paying for a product and installation that I am unhappy with, yet nothing has been done to rectify the situation. I have given Anglian the opportunity to address my concerns, but the lack of communication has made an already disappointing experience even worse.
I expected much better workmanship, professionalism and customer service from a company like Anglian. At this stage, based on my experience, I would not recommend them.

Anglian Home Improvement commenced work on my roof in July, and the project remains ongoing. This protracted timeline is due to the fitters repeatedly arriving with incorrect parts and the subsequent damage they have caused. I am still awaiting their return to finalize the work.
Fortunately, I documented the roof's condition with photographs before the work began, as Anglian Home Improvement claimed the tiles were already cracked. My pictures clearly show only one loose tile, which I had specifically pointed out.
I am profoundly disappointed and have submitted both pre- and post-work photographs to Anglian Home Improvement, highlighting the substandard craftsmanship. This past Friday, I sent them an additional image: a tile had fallen from the roof into my front garden, posing a significant hazard to my family and others. Furthermore, the gutters are insecure and have dropped, and broken tiles have been crudely reattached with silicone.
It is concerning how companies can operate in such a manner, accepting payment while leaving customers in precarious situations.

The workers were very friendly and worked well taking all the rubbish with them. The work done was very good and very happy with the work done.

I am one of the many Progress Housing tenants that has had new windows this year. Currently, all I can hear is traffic noise and screaming little C's on the field nearby!
Pros: The two guys that removed the old windows and fitted the new ones smashed it. All done in 6 hours. Very impressed by that. However...
Cons: I noticed big gaps in the brick/mortar when the old windows had been removed. These were not filled with mortar or even foam, they were covered over with a piece of plastic held on by silicone. That, and the annoying vents, are the reasons why so much outside noise now fills this house. Our quality of life has been effected by this. I guess I'll now have to look into secondary glazing options to reduce noise and possibly cold in winter (there's no way the cold isn't gonna get through those silly vents, closed or not). Yeah, thanks for nothing. It would have been better to leave the 90s windows.
***This tactic of requesting more information, is just another means of getting reviews that you don't like, pulled. Pathetic***
If this would allow me to give 0 (yes zero), I would give Anglian Windows zero stars. Do not use this company. They may hide behind glossy brochures and a UK wide presence giving them a level of credibility and trust but it is a complete farce. I ordered 1 window for a bathroom project. After 4 failed or aborted installations due to poor organisational issues (fitters but no scaffolding, scaffolding but no fitters), wrong spec of window made, there is still no resolution 2 months on from when window was 1st scheduled to be fitted. What's more, only radio silence from Anglian! I either get put through to a line that rings out and cuts you off or through to a chat Bot. Window has now been sitting in my hall for a month (with young kids this is less than ideal), no contact for over a month despite me contacting a Regional Manager, my email and chaser went unacknowledged. My bathroom project has completely halted as it can't be completed without the window being sorted, I've had to cancel decorators, take time off work, spent hours trying to follow up.
In reality, customer service is non existent and I am left in limbo unable to progress things at all. I have outlined my complaint in writing on 10 August but had no response or acknowledgement.
I finally tried ringing again today, 7th Sept and was told after being passed through a couple of people, that 2 individuals (in customer engagement and regional) were dealing with this and I woukd get a call back today. Its now 17.30 and no such call.
I just want my deposit back now and to be done with it so I can commission another company to do the job.
I will never use this company again, something has got to be structurally wrong here for customer service to be so catastrophically diabolical.

During the time we have been customers of Anglian (over 35 years) we have had all the windows double-glazed, roof trim fitted to the front and back of house, as well as a new conservatory. The first set of windows lasted 35 years! Last month we had a new door and side window replaced, and today we had the final piece of work done on the porch ceiling - new soffits/fascia/guttering etc. Many thanks to Mick Hannish (Sittingbourne depot) who completed the last job on the porch for us. First-class job! The porch has been transformed!
Whatever the final cost of the job, it is well worth it. We have actually saved money over the years in that the designers recommend what is best for your individual needs. You end up with a first-class product which fits perfectly.
All the workmen we have encountered over the years are professionals - they explained what they were going to do, have arrived punctually, and cleared all the debris when they finished. They always cover any carpets etc and vacuum them afterwards if necessary. They are polite, always have a sense of humour, and are able to answer any queries you might have.
I absolutely recommend the company - we have never had any regrets.

Terrible customer service. We had an engineer come out for our front door still in warranty to align the hinges, 2nd visit I might add. The door has never been right since fitting. The engineer came, made it worse and my key snapped in the lock trying to open the door for a second time . Anglian were made aware of this and washed their hands. Locksmith wrote on his report this has been caused by mis aligned hinges which is Anglian’s responsibility. They shirk responsibility and adopt a simple computer says no attitude without listening to the customer or any proof to say their door/ engineer is at fault.
The silicone around the edges of the door is just shoddy, came off right away. These doors are expensive without anything to justify their prices. Quality is off the mark. There is way better out there in the market, their customer service is terrible, and you will face issues post fitting, not worth using.
Have exhausted all discussions with Ms Jasmeet Parmar, their customer services rep.

Whilst I paid more than I expected but still a great deal, the service was good from start to finish and installed quicker than expected. The quality of the product is so much better than the previous front door and much more care went into installing it. No more leaks for me!

I am fed up with their constant marketing calls and have been bombarded with calls from different mobile numbers since agreeing to set up a teams call with them, after they gave me an expensive quote to replace guttering. I even told them to take me off of their marketing list and then received a further call from them 2 days later. Any more calls will result in a report to trading standards!

Having spent over ten thousand pounds with this company, I expected a little more consideration. Turns out they only look after their own staff when it comes to emergencies. Whilst on the phone I was abruptly put on hold and without knowing somebody else eventually came back to tell me her colleague had an emergency to deal with.
THEY ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY SERVICE, this is in the small print. So, when I called them last Tuesday to tell them that I couldn't open my front door, the earliest day they could attend was on the Friday (this despite the 10 year guarantee). So, if you want a company that is likely to attend an emergency sooner, use another company. Like I said, small print.
I have also had cause to complain in the past. They replaced a window, again under the 10 year guarantee, but the new window was only covered for the remainder of the original guarantee. They can get away with fitting lesser quality windows for replacement purposes this way and that they did, as the replacement window was the only one to develop issues within a relatively short period. Again, the small print. I supplied the requested details, so that they can supposedly investigate. I don't know what there is to investigate, as the issues mainly lie with their policy.

Follow-up care terrible. This is now the second occasion I have been left waiting to have a service visit arranged after my french doors stopped locking, having been promised I would be contacted in 5 business days, calling them after 7 of no contact, then being promised callback after 48 hours maximum, no contact! Impossible to recommend Anglian after these repeated failures.
