Animal Trust Dewsbury

Been registered at Animal Trust Dewsbury for a couple of years now, but recently within the past year or so it has seemed to have become worse with the staff etiquette and generally become a poor quality service. Almost every single time the vets have been up to half an hour late to appointments without communication as to why. They have repeatedly misdiagnosed things that should just take a simple test to find a treatment for, to then not actually treat the problem itself and cost me hundreds coming back for the same issue they haven’t cured and just keep prescribing random medications for. There have been many errors made because of the receptionists being careless, such as my card declining on a payment and them not telling me, so I had to come back to sort it out, then them claiming I had paid for some medication which I hadn’t and trying to give me free medication without any authorisation. I don’t feel they actually care for pets health at all and just do it for the money. The place has gone downhill and I’d strongly recommend avoiding it at all costs from personal experience.

Bailey my chocolate lab was peeing blood, and I got to see a vets within hours, they are brilliant, they explain to you what's wrong and whats the next step will be,
That was on a Friday, bloods was done one a Monday and he's on the mend, I've seen plenty of vets, the prices are disgusting how they expect people to pay the cost,
But animal trust is reasonable and I've never have a problem with someone seeing bailey, 5*

A brilliant facility and great service at Animal Trust.

It was a very pleasant visit to Animal Trust in Liverpool today. We are new customers after first visiting when our other vet was closed at the weekend. The comparison in the support and costs, you only pay for treatment and the fact it is open seven days a week, as well as it being a CIC, really impressed us, so much so that we changed vets to Animal Trust immediately after our first visit.
The vet today was absolutely lovely and was very kind and gentle to our cat Scooby. We didn't feel rushed and she took time to explain things in detail after conducting a health check etc. Very very satisfied with the whole service. We would highly recommend this Vets. Thank you. Colette.

My cat loved it.

The welcome from Emma was lovely. Most importantly our cat was well looked after and completely relaxed. Our vet, Emma, was very instinctive, professional, and clever. Patient responding well to medications. Easy to find. Spotlessly clean. A grateful experience all round. Thank you Animal Trust Liverpool.

Animal Trust Blackburn

We have been with Animal trust, Blackburn since we adopted our now 14 year old JRT 7 years ago.
From reception, to vet, everyone is caring, helpful, supportive, knowledgeable and explains without jargon. It is easy to book online, it is clean, and you dont have to wait too long to be seen.
We would definitely recommend.

I bought Poppy in for separation…

I bought Poppy in for separation anxiety, I arrived ten minutes early however I was kept waiting from 1100-1132... 32 minutes stuck in a room with nobody giving me information. All I needed was a once a week fix for my Dog so I could leave her to go shopping, I didn't want to change her personality because she is a wonderful soul but was offered an ssri or similar for £109 for 28 tablets. I thought recent government legislation stated one price for prescription and I will be looking in to this. After the nurse/vet Emma looked at Poppy(very briefly)I was kept waiting for a prescription printout in an overcrowded waiting room full of Dogs after been kept waiting and kept behind further because the vet didn't know how to use the printer.I walked out after 10 minutes stuck further in reception. Ridiculous. Initially the vet offered me the Medication for £109 and when I said money is not a problem however on principle I wouldn't be paying that amount for 28 tablets I was offered a cheaper generic option. Vets are like dentists.

Animal Trust in Shrewsbury were…

Animal Trust in Shrewsbury were extremely quick and very experienced with the care and help we needed for Tia. They explained her diagnosis, tests and the operation aswell as the 2 nights overnight care and the aftercare and self care at home and Tia was very well looked after by the Vet and Nurses at the practice. After collecting Tia yesterday and taking her home we were reassured about her healing process and timescale and how to administer her medication correctly. They also reassured us via telephone call the evening Tia came home to ensure us her recovery and after effects were completely normal and that she will start to feel herself over a couple of days. When we have her follow up appointment In two days we will be registering Tia with Animal Trust Telford for ongoing appointments and care. I would highly recommend the Aminal Trust Vets and Nurses to other pet owners as their expertise is exceptional and on point...Thankyou so much for your help with Tia it was very much appreciated by our family...

Cat vaccination

I recently brought my cat, Yuki, in for her vaccination and had a very positive experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the vet was gentle, patient, and clearly very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything and made sure Yuki was as comfortable as possible throughout the visit.

The clinic was clean and well-organised, and the whole process was smooth and efficient. I really appreciated the care and attention given to both Yuki and myself.

Our first visit to animal trust the vet…

Our first visit to animal trust the vet we think was French. She had no empathy with our dog and appeared to have no respect towards myself and my wife, she appeared arrogant and distant also self important and not answering some of our questions. We left feeling disappointed vowing to avoid her and `not recommending Animal Trust St Helens. This was 2.30pm on April 17th 2026 Our Old lovable dog Bailey

Everyone was friendly and professional

Everyone was friendly and professional, the ease of making appointments was very good, when I mentioned animal trust to people while walking the dogs a lot of folk mentioned they had heard of them and how good they had heard animal trust was and also mentioned the pricing being better than most other vets.

Best vets practice by far!

I have had pets for most of my life and have to say, this is the first time that I’ve felt that my vets practice actually care about my pet. The receptionists and vets are responsive, understanding, pleasant and thorough. Their pricing is more than fair and their honesty and integrity blows me away. I would recommend Animal Trust at St Helens to anyone with a pet. Keep up the good work!

Had a very difficult decision to make on if was the right time for my girl to pass, without being hasty. Speaking with the vet gave me clarity of 2 weeks on pain meds trail, which I really agree with and was thankful for.

Incredible service and charity. Forever grateful

From the bottom of my broken heart I cannot thank this incredible charity and the Vets in Telford enough for their service. Without your help and understanding I wouldn’t have been able to help my little bunny boy Theo with the pain he was in. It was a journey I knew I’d be making without him after the visit. My vet was beyond amazing, she was kind and caring and wanted the best for my boy as did I. All the staff were friendly, considerate, kind and respectful. Once I’m back in full time employment I will be making a contribution, indefinitely. I wish I had known about this charity sooner. Thank you again and I will be in contact tomorrow
