I'd love to recommend Ankama, but I can't

I came back a few weeks ago to play with friends, but I never expected to suffer 2 rollbacks in less than 1 week and lose a few hours playing and good luck crafts...

It seems Ankama does not care about their community and the impact of such awful things could have on your mind...

It's really hard for me today to say "Hey, go to ankama, they have nice released games", because what you will get is just games full of bugs, unstable servers and no communication...

Greedy company

They made their subscription AUTO RENEW ?!
I was charged 1 month even though I had stopped playing.
I contacted them as soon as I was debited (same day) asking for a refund.
=> They replied saying « Sorry, we won’t refund »

The support is awful

The support is awful. Been a while since I last played, approximately 1 year. The character transfer service was not working and I decided to contact support, guess that was my first mistake… They take too long to reply, and when they reply it’s very inefficient, overall I am nearing 1 month trying to solve this issue that should take less than 10 minutes.

Worst company I've ever experienced.

Worst company I've ever experienced.
In 2 days time I've had to send 3 tickets to support because I'm locked out of my accounts thanks to 'Ankama shield'. Ankama support being useless as ever not doing much to help. I haven't played Dofus in years, just came back for the nostalgia just to be reminded why I left this trash company years ago.

Truly terrible customer support

Worst customer support of any company I’ve ever dealt with, which is saying a lot. They are unashamedly rude and will lie straight to your face. It’s genuinely shocking that they’ve managed to exist for so long.

No development at all

Games have potential, but they are filled with bugs and lack development and updates. Especially Tactile Wars. I found at least 4-5 major bugs which you can easily get annoyed at, and which are easily fixable. I checked their Google Play page which comments were filled with feedbacks, but none were even answered. Checked their update logs too, last update was at 2018 which was just a little, one little bug fix and that's it. Really throwing away such a good strategy game potential if you ask me.

Milking cows company

`ve been familiar with the company and their products since the 2014. Company brands itself as a niche in game industry, which is partially true, but there`s a worse side overshading this positive side. Products, like Krosmaga, Krosmaster Arena, Gamakna were (sometimes nearly) completely abolished, so even though you might still find those sites, which are made for each product specifially, the actual development has been completely stopped. And, even on profitable projects, the development is 80% concentrated on cosmetics than on something really worthwile. Company`s mindstyle, as I`ve experienced by using the products for these 8 years, is profit->dev/quality, than dev/quality->profit. That`s why the quality stays at the same below average level. And, that`s why you`ve probably didn`t hear about them from games media like IGG, Gamestop (and Kotaku since 2012), but hear everytime about much smaller and less famous companies, which build their names on the great products they make. If you`re new to this company, highly recommend to find a substitute, nothing to waste much time on here.

My email was hacked

My email was hacked, someone made an account with their company's video game. All they did was remove the associated email address with the account. I need to know who had access to my email. I should have just logged in and figured it out myself.

The absolute worst gaming company

The absolute worst gaming company. I've been playing the game since 2006 so I am a veteran. I've seen all the good the game has to offer(the actual game is amazing), but the company that runs the game is ruining it. First of all, their auto ban system is broken. They ban random players while we still have hundred of thousand bots and multi loggers on mono account servers( single accounts). I myself reported such bots and multi loggers with actual proof and no action was taken. But they ban normal people who actually support them by paying for subscription and buying their merch. My brother called them out on the forums and he was sanctioned. The reason for the sanction was " Public informing" . This nazzi-like behaviour is what's wrong with the company. Two years ago 4% of the player base on Echo lost their items/experience/money due to technical issues. The company promised everything back and after a month of back and forth sending tickets to support, they were told " we won't give back anything, have fun rebuilding". The english community is threated like absolute trash by this racist french company.

Doesn't care about you. Brainless money driven company...

Run their games like hardcore dictators. Banning players left and right, without thinking about players well being.
They don't take in consideration players opinions, only interns have influence.

About 12 years ago they made Dofus in flash. Great back in the days.
But now, in 2020, it still runs in flash. Horribly optimized, everything lag even with the beefiest PC ever.

Running 16 cores RTX 2080 and I'm having trouble at every map change, inventory loading, everything really.

There's bugs everywhere and instead of fixing the game that put them on the map they keep making MORE games...

They even restarted the old version which a lot more peoples prefer for a reason, it's so much faster !
On the old version it doesn't take years for spells to go off, but whatever. They really need to start working for real.
They need to take Dofus 2, and make Dofus 3 already. WITHOUT FLASH.

Me and my friends are dreaming thinking about playing Dofus without lag, this would literally be a game changer.
