Bad menu change and way too pricey, Antons is going downhill :(

My husband and I decided to celebrate out 29th wedding anniversary at Anton's because it was one of the first restaurants we went to when we started dating. The gal taking names was a tad rude to my husband when we went in to ask if he needed to put his name in. We got seated and the waiter was really nice but lost one star because he never asked us if we wanted something to drink when he took our order. Trying to flag him down was impossible so my husband got up and went to him to ask for our drinks. I have celiac disease so the only main dish I could have there and have always had there was the risotto a la creole. The waiter advised that they took ALL the risotto dishes off the menu which meant there was nothing I could have other than a couple appetizers. We would have left once we found out they removed all the risotto dishes but my husband was looking forward to his dish and I didn't want to take that away from him and we had waited too long to walk away. I ordered a ceasar salad without the croutons, a prawn appetizer and a side dish of spicy chicken. The salad cost $20 and all it was, was a bowl of soggy, over dressed lettuce. The first few bits on top were okay but with the amount of dressing they put on the rest turned soggy and uneatable, so that was a waste of $20. The prawns were good but I think there were 8 and they cost $19.95. The chicken was just a few chunks of chicken tossed in Franks hot sauce but at least the price wasn't in the double digits. My crappy appetizers cost more than my husbands huge dish of pasta :( The owner probably doesn't care with the amount of people the place still gets but we'll never be back and that means none of my family or friends that we go with on occasion will either.

Antons used to be a good place to go but the limited menu and the high prices are absolutely ridiculous.
