Better than dealing with the manufacturer
The oven was purchased as a replacement for a cancelled order direct with Samsung. The Appliance City order was good value and fast delivery unlike my experience with Samsung.

Excellent service. Can't fault them. They talked me through the order and delivery process and my order went through quickly. Delivery was on time and packaging was brilliant. I am very pleased with the cooker which looks and performs well .

Cheaper than any other website
My dryer was cheaper than any other retailer and the delivery was perfect - it arrived exactly when it was meant to. They unpacked it and took the packaging away saving me a trip to the tip.

Excellent service
I ordered a Miele dishwasher on a Sunday afternoon and it arrived on Tuesday morning! Miele is a name that I trust as my previous dishwasher from Miele was about 18 years old and had been no trouble until the end. Cannot fault them
Cannot fault them. Miele dishwasher delivered quickly, lots of communication, 2 hour delivery slot to boot. Driver called me 30 mins away and delivered it into the property. But - overall saved over £300 rather than buying direct and couldn't find a better (legitimate) deal online. Highly recommend.

Avoid!!
I purchased a Hisense fridge freezer from Appliance City for £749. When the appliance was eventually unpacked, a dent was discovered in the front door.
I contacted Appliance City, but they refused to replace the appliance or refund me, relying on their 48-hour damage reporting policy. They offered £80 as a goodwill gesture, which I declined as it would leave me with a damaged appliance.
I subsequently contacted Citizens Advice, followed the formal complaints process and issued a county court claim. We have now been through telephone mediation but unfortunately could not reach an agreement.
I am very disappointed that after paying £749 for a brand-new appliance, I have had to take the matter this far simply to try to get the issue resolved.
The matter is currently ongoing through the court process, so I will update this review once it has concluded.

A senior Customer Experience advisor has investigated your concerns and considered that 3 months to inspect the appliance not considered reasonable.
Your purchase of the Hisense 79cm Four Door Fridge Freezer was processed on the 25th November 2025 and delivered promptly on the 27th November 2025.
The delivery of the appliance was signed for in good order and left in position within your kitchen has per the instruction to our delivery driver.
On the 21st February 2026 over 12 weeks later you advised that the fridge door was dented. We offered an allowance of £80 which you rejected has a replacement door wasn’t an option due to the time lapse.
