Attended a essential work training…

Attended a essential work training course March 2021at the Gatwick hotel and had the most enjoyable 4 days there. Marsha was brilliant every day and everything went smoothly and nothing was too much trouble in lockdown. The hotel was clean, staff all good and the training facilities more than adequate.

Had a bad experience at the Gatwick…

Had a bad experience at the Gatwick Arora with Very Rude staff .. a room that was supposed to be superior and looked more like something from the late 60’s !!!!
Hotel looks modern from outside ... you step inside your room you have mismatched furniture... a modern bathroom a very tired bedroom with decor !! Room 295
The car parking is a con - they charge £10 a day !! To park where luckily we found a car park walkable distance for £2.50 every 24hours !!! Which of course we wasn’t told about !
The manager finally replied to my correspondence saying that the hotel will soon to be under refurbishment ?( that was no use to me ) AND. Would I like to come back to stay in a premier room at a discounted rate ?!!! TOTAL JOKE , you’d of thought he may of offered a free complementary stay but alas no ! He’d like me to fork out more money for the dis-pleasure , very cross and would AVOID at all costs

Extra Charges, Rude staff

Anyone booking this hotel should note there is a £15 parking charge which is not mentioned anywhere on their website which i think is ridiculous. The staff are rude and unfriendly. Breakfast was below par for what they charge. Only the room are adequate. For the price i think i was ripped off.
