ArriveCan is an unconstitutional…

ArriveCan is an unconstitutional infringement on domestic and international human rights. It tracks Canadian citizens and sells private information. No informed consent. The App itself is also a poor user experience, the security is nonexistant and insecure, riddled with issues practical and legal. Our information was sold without our consent via SwitchHealth, which we started to receive email spam. It is being legally challenged now.

Intrusive and violation of my privacy

This app is totally unnecessary and another thing to remember amidst all of the other travel issues in Canada. Hey rid of it. We have passports and QR codes. Also why does the app require my destination upon arrival from travel?

Trouble using ArriveCAN app

Both my husband I, using both android and apple devices had incredible difficulty using app. We tried and retried multiple times to receive a verification code. In 2 days we have not yet received a verification code after multiple attempts. The app is totally unfriendly and time spent trying to complete the form has cost us much time and energy which we should have been better spent on a well deserved holiday. Many poor reviews have been written about this app. When will steps be taken to fix issues?

SCAM

SCAM - this company has no affiliation with the government of Canada. They send a receipt with no Qr code so it WILL NOT be accepted at the border. I received one and showed it to the Canadian border agent who says he sees this too often and has to turn people back. I contested it with the credit card company and they received the merchants response and place the charge back on my card. I'm not done with that fight! The merchant says they are a facilitator only. What are they facilitating when the border agents don't accept their entry receipt? IT HAS NO QR CODE IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. They know this so they are stealing from you. Yet they say they are a legitimate travel company? COME ON! Further, Andre Gagnon who is with the Public Health Agency of Canada, said in a CBC article that "the site was providing no useful service."

"These fraudulent sites have no association with ArriveCAN, so there is no data being received from them," he said.

You can't get into the country unless the GOVERNMENT gets your uploaded negative covid test and vaccination card, passport number etc. Clearly, the government is not receiving data from this scam. Imagine the people who flew up there at a large expense perhaps, as I did, to try to get to a loved one before they passed away, only to find you were turned away at the border! I, luckly had my radar up and so I went to the legitimate app and was able to show the real ArriveCan receipt to gain entry. They are fake and causing great harm to people.

This company is a complete scam

This company is a complete scam. It has no affiliation with the Canadian Government at all. It only takes your money and does nothing at all. It asks for $65 to process your application. The Canadian ArriveCan App is completely free. The border agents have had a lot of these bogus documents from this company.

DO NO USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES YOU JUST LOSE YOUR MONEY
