Wrong Item Shipped - Forcing Me To Return First

They sent me the wrong item but their return process is just unacceptable.

They use DHL but I live in NYC and I don't own a printer. So now I have to figure out printing the label, scheduling a pickup, and then wait for them to receive it (all the way out back to Europe) and then send me what I actually ordered.

I've worked in the logistics for fashion brands for over ten years. I'm telling you. This is just simply unacceptable. If it's the brands fault (regardless if it's their 3PL or not) then they should be picking up the tab and just mail me the correct item.

So much for protecting the environment I suppose...

As soon as we were made aware of the mistake, we arranged a replacement order right away so you would not need to wait for the return to reach us before receiving the correct item. We do still kindly ask for the incorrect item to be returned, but we’ve tried to make the process as flexible as possible by offering both DHL drop-off options, where labels can be printed on-site, as well as pickup arrangements from a preferred address.

We appreciate you sharing your perspective and understand your concerns regarding both logistics and environmental impact. While this situation fell short of the experience we aim to provide, feedback like yours is valuable in helping us improve our processes moving forward.

Usually great, but lightweight t-shirt really poor

I have bought a number of items from Asket online and the quality and fit is very good, especially the standard t-shirt. I recently bought a lightweight t-shirt and this was really disappointing. The quality was no where near as good as the standard t-shirt, the fit was also different end the neckline really baggy. I've worn it once and it will never get worn again so a real let down.

Sustainability hype doesn't match style or quality

I was excited by Asket's emphasis on sustainability, ethics, and durable basics. I bought several T-shirts, jeans, chinos, a zip jacket, and a cotton sweater, expecting stylish everyday wear for the price. After a few months, I was disappointed: materials feel overly thick and stiff, and the muted, minimalist style looks bland and cheap in person, not premium. I'm replacing everything with better-fitting French entry-premium brands that deliver more appealing style and feel. The strong marketing on ethics drew me in, but it overlooks buyers who prioritize aesthetics. Clearer expectations on the thick, neutral look would help reduce these mismatches and improve ratings.

Bought many of the basic t-shirts in…

Bought many of the basic t-shirts in 2023 as their motto was that they are designed to last. Well, that was a lie. After 2 years holes started to appear in the armpit and waist area. Its just getting worse with every wash. I paid 40€ per piece for these and expected way longer durability out of them. Nowadays the same shirt costs 50€. Not worth the money.

Terrible Cashmere Quality

Decent quality T-shirts. However, the Cashmere Sweater is of very poor quality: harsher than any cotton/wool sweaters I've ever had. Significantly worse quality than cheaper brands such as Gobi Cashmere.

Customer service wouldn't pay for the return either (despite this not being customer error; but simply a bad product).

I ordered a wool sweater for my husband…

I ordered a wool sweater for my husband for Christmas and he needed another size so I made a return and ordered a new one. That one was never delivered to me and Asket are blaming PostNord for it, for not sending a notification and hence the sweater was “shipped back”. When I was in contact with Asket about this they apologized and said that they take it “very seriously” and will do anything to make sure the sweater is sent to me. Then it’s radio silence for a couple of days and I contact them again asking for a tracking ID. There is no tracking ID because this time they had internal issues with their order system or whatever so the sweater basically does not exist. They apologize and send me a refund. That’s it. I’m extremely disappointed and will never order anything from Asket again.

I ordered a brand new sweatshirt, but received an archive item

I ordered a brand-new sweatshirt at full price, but received an old “archive” item instead. It had outdated material, old tags, and previous branding—completely different from what is shown on the asket.com website.
Customer service later told me that their stock is mixed and they cannot differentiate between old and new items. In other words, some customers receive the new version, while others are sent old stock, despite the product being advertised as new.
This is misleading and unacceptable for a full-price purchase. Overall, a very poor experience

Really? 50 EUR price increases?

The cotton and 100% RECYCLED wool overshirts passed from 170 - 190 to 220 - 240€, is this a joke? The prices for the shirts have also increased.
And of course, you never do discounts because capitalism is bad... but then you raise the prices by almost 30% in the blink of an eye.

At the same time, your direct competitors are selling wool overshirts made in Portugal at 120€ with discounts (and with a very similar quality).

This comes after another price increase you did just a few months ago when the biggest thing you'd changed was the site layout (same fabrics, same colour, same designs, in a few items a change of the cut).

On a positive note, support is fast and helpful, shipping is also fast. I've never have problems with returns and refunds.
The quality of many items is good but again, the prices are now too high.

Quality got worse - knitwear especially

I have been an Asket customer for 7 years and always loved their approach but the knitwear has been disappointing. Turtlenecks ripped or developed holes, the big sweater is developing holes and the half-zip has loose threads.
For something with a lower price point that would be fair, but if your theme is "made to last" and "buy less" this makes no sense. Unfortunately no exchanges are being made on their end, sad to see

Don’t buy from them

Don’t buy from them, quality is poor, return policy is awful and you also need to pay for it. There are plenty brands who sell for this price greater quality and customer experience. Honestly, don’t waste your money and time.

The most disappointing tshirts ever

The most disappointing tshirts I ever bought, especially for the price. I recently bought off the peg tshirts for a third of the price that were triple the quality!
I got 3 tees, white navy and black and the material feels like cardboard. When you move around you can uncomfortably feel the tshirt rigidly move around your body like a box. Horrible! Such a waste of money.

Return without refund.
I sent back a pants. For whatever reason they are unable to trace it. Even though I followed their system there is no refund.

Except for this pants the quality of goods in general is good but I won't buy from them anymore.

EDIT: Just for clarity: They did not send this follow-up email. This is a lie.

Best plain white tee I've ever owned

I ordered a plain white tee shirt nearly 2 years ago and it is still going strong. Just the right about of weight to it and fits perfectly. The collar hasn't lost its shape and it is still white after many, many wears and washes.

I was prompted to write this review as I was on holiday and needed to buy a white tee shirt (I'd forgot to pack my Asket one) and I couldn't find anything that came close.

Only slight gripe was the delivery time - I get that I'm in the UK and they ship from Sweden, but the package had supposedly been given to Evri but several days passed and Evri still didn't have it. This could be an issue with the courier of course, they are very hit and miss!

*Trustpilot doesn't allow reviews for purchases over 12 months ago but I actually bought this a year prior to the date shown.

Amazing staff

I just visited one of Asket’s stores in Stockholm and met this incredible worker named Tilda. What a professional she was. You could really tell she believes in this company and what they do. As someone who’s new to Asket, I now believe in it too. I was in a bit of a rush to catch a train this time, but I’m definitely coming back soon. Amazing service and expertise!
