My son had a job at A.S. Watson and through an agency and had an accident at work on forklift. He reported this accident to his manager straight away and was told he was suspended and it would be looked into. His manager said he should be ok and he did the right thing reporting it and would hear back from him in 3 days time.
He has had to message and email the agency 'JobsandTalent' every few days for the last 3 weeks to find out what's going on and try contact A.S. Watson which is impossible.
A.S. Watson 'Superdrug' treat their staff with no respect whatsoever and sack them without even telling the workers at the time.
Why did his manager tell him he'd be back in work after 3 days??? and was good he reported the incident.
Jobsandtalent are now saying they are still looking into it as a serious incident. Is the serious incident the manger lying and saying he was suspended when in fact 3 weeks later get told by someone he's been sacked.
Someone really needs to take this company through the courts.
Can you send Tommy a copy of the disciplinary proceedings when completed so this can be looked into by someone more professional.
