Ive bought five items in the last year and all the products are excellent. They look even better than the photos.
I had a fitting missing from my last order which we may of even lost in the rubbish.Their customer service is excellent. They spoke to me twice sent three emails and posted a new part to me. (Free of charge) Tracy especially was very helpful. This is a proper old school company whose staff are excellent. Totally recommended.

Beautiful items to look at - however…….. When you place an order with a reputable supplier, you naturally expect to receive high-quality products. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Atkin and Thyme fell far short of this expectation. Initially, my interaction with their customer service team seemed positive, as they promptly apologised for the poor quality of the product. However, it was clear that the chest of drawers had been severely damaged, likely during shipment to the UK, and the two bedside cabinets had improperly coated legs, with all eight legs exhibiting defects.

The drawers of the faulty cabinet fell out, causing damage to my newly varnished oak parquet floor, which I had just refinished before Christmas. As a goodwill gesture, Atkin and Thyme offered a discount on the chest of drawers to help cover the repair costs. Nevertheless, the offered discount was insufficient to cover the actual expenses of repairing the floor, which was damaged due to their defective goods.

Additionally, I had to wait two weeks for a replacement unit, which arrived with missing screws, one damaged leg, and was in an unacceptable, filthy condition. The response from their customer service team was disappointing, offering a half-hearted apology and stating they would notify their manufacturer of the issues.

When a customer reports receiving defective goods, the minimum response should be a genuine effort to rectify the situation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend or purchase from Atkin and Thyme again.

We recently purchased the monza metal & marble media unit which was received in our 2 hr time slot amazingly well packaged & the quality & build of the monza unit is stunning the marble top just finishes the design off.

I bought an expensive marble top sideboard. I had to wait for a few months for delivery. However, the main issue was with the delivery itself - they deliver in a way that it’s not assembled and the way it’s packed makes it almost impossible to unpack and assemble it!!!! I was almost about to have a nervous breakdown!!! Seriously, what level of IQ allows these people to make this process that much inconvenient for the customers? How could you not think about whether the customers will find it easy and convenient to unpack and assemble the item? If it’s a third party that you employ then are you not even checking it? Paying that amoint of money and you’re getting something that you still need to assemble and you get a nervous breakdown by trying to remove the bits from the packing and there is an extreme amount of boxes, tape, other packing material to dispose of!!! It’s EXTREMELY idiotic, there are no words to express a customer’s feeling!!! I’m FED UP of these types of stupid and unethical businesses that ONLY CARE ABOUT MAKING A PROFIT!!!!!!! What kind of idiots, seriously!!!!!!!

Disappointing customer service. Ordered a nest of tables over a month ago for my daughter’s Christmas present. Now informed on the 21st January that the order cannot be fulfilled due to let down by there suppliers. Not great but would give a second chance.

Poor customer service – very inconvenient resolution
I received a 3ft reindeer Christmas light where one of the legs didn’t light up. I emailed customer services within an hour of delivery and provided photos as evidence.
It then took two days to receive a response, only to be offered 15% off. While the item was in the sale, it still cost around £100, meaning I’d be paying £85 for a faulty decoration, which isn’t acceptable. I’d much rather pay full price for a product that actually works.
They then arranged a collection without checking my availability, seemingly assuming I can sit at home 9–5 waiting for a courier. I work — that’s how I can afford to shop in the first place. The whole process feels unnecessarily inconvenient and almost like punishment for reporting a fault.
In situations like this, companies should ask themselves: what’s the least inconvenient option for the customer?
Simple alternatives would have been:
a timed collection
sending a replacement
a reasonable discount
or replacing and collecting at the same time
Instead, communication was slow and the solution offered was poor.

We purchased the Quinn Bar Cabinet from Atkin and Thyme. What a beautiful product that's both unique and stylish and exactly what we were looking for. Although we had a slight problem with the item, the customer service we experienced was fantastic and resolved the issue very quickly and smoothly. We would definitely recommend purchasing again from Atkin and Thyme.

Love my bedside table. Great communication, delivery and product. Would definitely shop here again !!

Amazing customer service!
We had to replace a damanged chair for our showroom and when I reached out to Atkin and Thyme they were nothing but helpful, understanding and efficient. Responsive at all times. I would highly recommend their Calvin Chair. We absolutely love them !

Purchased 3 items from Atkin & Thyme, a lamp base which I wanted to return as it wasn’t quite right and then 2 pieces of furniture. I changed my mind about one piece the day after ordering it and sent them a request to cancel it. They were quick to respond and refunded the item within a day or two. The second piece of furniture was unfortunately not quite the colour that it appeared to be in the picture, in reality it was a lot lighter and the bottom drawer stuck. This was disappointing as the drawers were actually solid and decent and attractive if I had wanted them that colour. Unfortunately I had colour matched them to existing furniture so with that and the faulty sticking issue with the bottom drawer I decided to return them. Each time I contacted them they were polite, friendly and helpful and offered me sensible solutions, including a discount if I wanted to keep the item or a refund if I preferred to return. They always answered the phone when I called and arranged for the item to be collected when I chose this option which I could arrange on a day that suited me. When you get customer service like this you don’t mind so much when you encounter issues as you work together to get them resolved.

We bought 6 dining chairs from Atkin & Thyme and have been delighted with them. Great product, stylish and good quality. One of the chairs unfortunately arrived broken - presumably during transit - which Atkin & Thyme replaced immediately and with sincere apologies. Great customer service. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I live in South London and have always loved Atkin & Thyme furniture - I already have a few of their pieces at home. I only discovered the outlet store by chance when a side table I wanted went out of stock online. When I realised the outlet had one on display, I was over the moon! I called ahead, and the lovely team kindly reserved it for me so I could stop by on my way to the Midlands that weekend.

What I didn’t expect was the Friday traffic - my ETA kept getting later, and I was so anxious that I might miss them before closing. Harriett answered my call and was so calm, friendly, and reassuring. She told me not to worry and that they’d wait for me. That kindness honestly meant so much after a stressful three hour drive.

I arrived about ten minutes after closing, completely flustered, and was greeted so warmly by Harriett, Claire, and Sarah. They could instantly tell I’d had a long day - they offered me a drink, directions, and even let me take a quick look around. The store itself is beautiful, with so many gorgeous pieces at fantastic prices - definitely worth the trip if you love Atkin & Thyme’s designs.

Claire and Sarah helped wrap the table carefully and loaded it into my car with such care and patience. All three of them went above and beyond, and it honestly turned what could’ve been a really stressful journey into a genuinely heart-warming experience.

You can tell they take real pride in their work and care deeply about their customers. I really hope their managers see this and know how much their kindness and professionalism matter - it’s not often you come across people who embody that kind of warmth in retail anymore.

Thank you so much, Harriett, Claire, and Sarah - you were wonderful, and I’d make the long drive again just because of how lovely you all were!!!

Recently visited the retail outlet in King's Lynn...

Claire & Harriet were superb. They couldn't have been more knowledgeable, flexible and patient while I pondered on which things I was going to buy. I went for a couple of bedside tables, some lamps and a plinth which I took with me on the day. Replacement legs arrived as promised today. I absolutely love the quality and stylishness of all the items. Thanks C & H for making our day such a great experience!

We ordered the flute marble top bedside tables. Lovely product. Feels solid, good quality.

There were issues with the polish on one of the marble tops. It took a couple of times to ensure we had a top we were happy with.

I was looking for a timeless dining table that you wouldn't see in every single house and after many researches I discovered Atkin & Thyme. I absolutely love the table, but I also really appreciated the customer service that I received. After a few months we had a problem with the table and I was very nervous about the response I could get from them, but within an hour I was offered different options and got a new table delivered very quickly as well.

Exceptional service! I recently bought my first home and purchased a bulk of my items from here. To say they stood out would be an understatement. The quality is incredible, and the service is second to none. Truly outstanding from start to finish – a well-deserved 10/10.

I know this is the bare minimum however from dealing with online furniture companies like Swoon, where everything arrives broken and of poor quality for extortionate prices, it must be said.

I ordered two of the Marlow bedside tables and I am just so thankful my items arrived in perfect working order with no damage, packaged perfectly and the items look excellent.
