Scam, stay away

I paid for item and the delivery. Unfortunately the item never been sent out.
I've tried to give a negative feedback, but Aukro won't let me to do it.
You won't get Ur money back, unless you pay extra fee and there's no guarantee that you get you money back.
There is loads of negative reviews on Czech review sites.
So please stay away from this scam.

Unfair system on Aukro

Unfair system on Aukro – sellers are at a disadvantage

I sold a used device (Surface Pro 7) on Aukro, clearly described as older but fully functional. After the auction ended, the buyer suggested a price themselves, which I accepted, and I shipped the item. Before shipping, I tested everything – the device was fully functional, Wi-Fi worked reliably, and the screen had no visible damage.

After receiving the item, the buyer paused the payment, citing "other reasons," which Aukro allows with a single click and no evidence. The buyer later claimed that the Wi-Fi signal was 1–2 bars weaker than another device and that there were dead pixels visible only under specific testing conditions (on a white background at full brightness). Neither of these issues are significant, and both are typical of an older, used device.

Aukro, instead of actively resolving the situation, insisted I handle the issue with the buyer directly. Despite repeatedly explaining to the buyer that the device was functional and matched the description, they did not respond. Still, the payment remains frozen, and the issue has dragged on for nearly a month without progress.

Why Aukro’s system is unfair to sellers:

Buyers can easily pause payments without providing evidence. The seller is then forced to justify themselves, even if there are no substantial issues with the item.
Sellers lose time and potentially money – in my case, I’ve been dealing with this for almost a month.
Aukro requires the auction fee to be paid in the next billing period, even if the transaction hasn’t been completed and payment is still withheld.
Aukro should ensure fairer rules that protect both buyers and sellers equally. If a buyer cannot provide clear evidence of significant issues, the payment should be automatically released. Unfortunately, this experience has been disappointing, showing that Aukro remains passive and unwilling to take an active role in resolving disputes.

Lots of scammers

Lots of scammers. They used to have some very basic kind of consumer protection. If you sent money for an item through aukro they would hold it before you would get your item. Only after you received your item and checked it, they released the funds. They don't do it anymore and release the funds immediately, to protect the scammers. They just care that they get their cut of the scammed money.

A decent and serious company that has…

A decent and serious company that has quality support. Fees are reasonable. Aukro is something like ebay, but in a small size, it is better quality and more serious than ebay. Follow the ratings of business partners for all online stores. I have been selling here for over ten years and have never had a major problem. Only once did Aukro warn me that the goods sold by me must not contain any links to sites outside of Aukro. They take care of business. I understand and highly recommend it.
