My batteries finally arrived after 10…

My batteries finally arrived after 10 days but I am not sure they are genuine panasonic. The packaging looks really weird. I really needed these batteries for temperature monitors in my camping fridges. I gave up waiting and bought them from a physical shop in Adelaide.
When they did arrive the packaging was completely different from what the physical shop sold.
If you can get the batteries from somewhere else I'd suggest doing that. Plus the postage stamps were for $3.40. I was slugged $10 online for postage.

No delivery and no response.

Auto responder when you place your order saying it is received then one saying its on its way and that the parcel can be tracked but with no tracking info. Order still hasn't turned up and zero response to request for order status via their website/email.

I placed an order for a battery through…

I placed an order for a battery through a company called Ausbatteries that I found online and paid via credit card. Despite the payment going through, I did not receive the product even after 20 days. I attempted to contact their customer service via email—since the business does not list a phone number or physical address—requesting an update on the order and tracking information (which was supposed to be included with the shipping).

I received a response stating that the product had been shipped. After waiting another week with no delivery, I followed up again. This time, a customer service representative named “John via RT” provided a tracking number that turned out to be unrelated to my order, as confirmed by Australia Post.

I sent another email requesting either a refund or the correct product, but received no response until I wrote them that I would file a complaint with the Consumer Forum. I still have not received either the refund or the product.

Based on my experience, I believe this company to be unreliable and potentially fraudulent. I strongly advise others not to purchase from Ausbatteries. Their customer service is a big zero.

Should have believed all the one star…

Should have believed all the one star ratings. Placed an order anyway. Same experience. Website says most orders are filled within 2-3 days. A week after ordering, they "just ran out" and back order would take weeks. Felt like a scam so asked for a refund and stated I would charge back if not refunded. Received a rude email back telling me they would refund, they closed my account and blocked my card. Wouldn't have used either again anyway. Now he's arguing with me on another review site. Interesting way to run a business. Good thing there are other retailers. One positive: was actually refunded, so probably not a scam, just buying from Ali Express on your behalf, maybe?

WARNING...STAY AWAY FROM AUSBATTERIES.

WARNING...STAY AWAY FROM AUSBATTERIES.
Basically a scam business.
I'm exhausted from the stress the diks running this place caused me with their lies.
They will NOT fill your order but will debit you. If they do fil the order it will be with a product you DID NOT ORDER. A shonky dodgy bad product might be supplied, if anything.
F you ausbatteries liar.

Feels a lot like a scam...

6 weeks after placing an order, I got a refund Through paypal. The last email I received from ausbatteries was the order confirmation, then they didn't respond to any of my emails chasing-up my order.

Keep away from this company

This company is very difficult to deal with. NO contact phone number or address, just a contact form.

When I went to the post office to pick up my parcel I found that I had inadvertantly ordered 3 instead of 1 battery. The postie suggested I could return it no charge but that these companies often use distribution companies and that the return address may go back to the distributor. I checked address and this was the case. So I took the batteries home to sort it out either by email or over the phone.

I went through the contact form asking if I could return the extra 2? Autoresponder email stated response within 48 hours. Crickets.

I then realised that I'd ordered the wrong battery.

5 days later I emailed again and expanded request to return all 3 as they were in fact the wrong battery. Within minutes I got this response from John: 'We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind or incorrectly ordered items. Your consumer rights do not extend to you either ordering the wrong quantity or ordering the incorrect item or change of mind (obviously).'?

Obviously? What sort of business puts ALL the onus on the customer? And given it's online there are bound to be keying mistakes.

I now have $204 worth of un-useable batteries, and will never use this company again. And advise that you do the same.

Absolutely horrendous. AVOID AT ALL

Absolutely horrendous service and communication. Queried my order on Thursday that was placed on the prior Monday and hadn't even been processed yet. Was met with hostility and sarcasm. When I didn't back down and asked for further information, my order was promptly cancelled without consultation and I was informed that they don't have to honour my order if they choose not to. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Extremely poor customer service

I purchased two lithium ion batteries from this company prior to the delivery of a new light.
The order took a week to process and another week to arrive, but this did not matter too much as the light arrived the day after receipt of the batteries.
When I attempted to install a battery, I was dismayed that the battery was too long to fit, despite being the correct cell size.
A review of the light instructions revealed that the light could only be used with batteries of a certain length.
I reached out to the ausbatteries for any potential solution to this problem via their contact page (message only, no phone number listed).
Within the hour I received a rather snide response that I should have checked the correct battery size prior to ordering.
I responded by explaining that I did not have access to the light instructions prior to making the order, but could they let me know how I could return the batteries for refund.
Two days elapsed, so I sent a message requesting they please respond to my query regarding a return and refund.
24 hours later, still no response.
A check on their website revealed that while items may be returned they must be unused, they are subject to a 30% restocking fee and the items would need to be posted back via tracked post (this is not a service that they appear to offer to their customers).
Taking into account that the restocking fee and postage charges add up to the cost of one battery and the fact that one of the batteries now has scuff marks where the contacts of the light sat, my refund would be zero.
While this episode was caused by my rush in ordering batteries to operate a new light, the lack of empathy, the immediate apportionment of blame on the customer and a total lack of response to repeated queries are a warning to any other potential customers of this seller.
One star is definitely more than this company deserve.
