This website is a scam. I try to sold my car and then I received a mail of someone who would like to buy my car but first he wants a report from this website which should cost me 40 euro.

Do not rely on the information provided by AutoCheck, Experian. BAD INFORMATION!!!
I relied on AutoCheck, a part of Experian, for the purchase of a Porsche 911 and they missed an accident and and airbag deployment that Carfax found (after the purchase). Clearly, you can not rely on the information provided by this company.

So glad I read the reviews before using Experian. What made me suspect was the fact I was unable to read the term and conditions.
Most misleading and wasteful piece of…
Most misleading and wasteful piece of information you can pay for, can't believe AutoTrader have them advertised.
Had shortlisted few cars that I wanted to run the checks on so bought the 5 check bundle thinking I will be getting relevant information. Used the first check to find out majority of the Information you'd expect to get is missing - (VIN, Mileage History, Engine Specs, etc.) Nothing close to what the Example Report looks like....
You'd get more out of running the Plate in the MOT system..
So I rang them up to Understand what went wrong and hopefully get refund. Was told that to get the information such as VIN, I have to enter that myself once I have bought the car ? That's just a joke as they have advertised it on the auto marketplace so surely you're trying to find out as much as you can about the car before you inspect it or buy it, not afterwards?
So the only option they offered me is to request the refund for the remaining 4 checks which is about a £5 and the single check has just cost you almost £17... definitely a great business plan.
I'd stay away and use other service providers as this is just a nonsense. Can't believe that Experian are behind this.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. They can not read with understanding and wasting the customer's time.

Incorrect information on car I was selling showing as exported 20 years ago cars been in my family from new autocheck wouldn't remove and cost me a sale
Overpriced, poor content, poor customer service.
Given the relatively high price of the Autocheck reports, I was surprised that they contain even less information than some of the free ones available. Why no MOT data or mileage history? The car that I was thinking of buying had the odometer set back 26,000 miles, but I would never known this had I relied on Autocheck alone.
After I’d paid for a set of 5 reports, I was unable to log back in to access my account. Customer services didn’t respond to my email and after spending 17 minutes on the phone with their Indian call centre, they just said they’d get someone to email me. I’m still waiting.
Accurate data - Recommended
Accurate data - Recommended
I have had a good experience with Autocheck. I used them to compare the results with another provider and found that the Autocheck data was correct. The other company provided inaccurate data - which upon complaining has now been been changed.
My experience is that if you want the correct data first time you should use Autocheck.
Spot on!
Fantastic service, more professional and seems to have more up to date information compared to other vehicle checking sites.
