Total nightmare

I’ve owned, bought and sold quite a few classic cars during my life and I have always had good experiences with the people that I have interacted with. Last year I bought a car from Auto Classica, it turned out to be a massive mistake. Buying the car was easy and everyone was happy and nice but when it turned out to be a pack of lies, they got pretty nasty to the point where I only communicated via SMS because talking to them on the phone had a negative affect on my health. Even my wife tried talking to them but they were rude to her as well. After talking to people I know in the classic car world, I have heard many similar stories.
If you find a car that you want to buy at Auto Classica, don’t do it, keep looking because if anything is wrong with the car you buy you will never get help or satisfaction
Once again, AN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE

Mardrömsbilen/Car from nightamers

Efter att ha köpt en bil med beskrivningen låga mil o felfri med några få bilder (där allt såg bra ut) som underlag så förvandlades bilköpet snabbt till en mardröm.
Bilen gick inte alls bra som utlovat och än värre var skicket. Underredet smutsigt, samtliga 4 fälgarna rejält kantstötta, repiga och tom muttrarna slitna. Stora lacksläpp, fullt med repor, gamla lagningar samt flygrost här o var. Tom hål i karossen på nåt ställe.
Inredningen tidigare vattenskadad så mattorna bokstavligen ruttna o söndervittrade.
Efter några dagars körning med 800km så hann hastighetsmätaren, elhissen samt ena lampan gå sönder samt motorn rasslar rejält vid tomgång.
När jag påpekar dessa fel blir jag genast dumförklarad. Helt plötsligt har dom sålt en rejält patinerad originalbil där jag borde ha vetat bättre. Detta utan att få vare sej en endaste bild på nån av defekterna eller vetskap om några fel. Ordet patina varken nämndes i skrift eller under samtal.
Jag har nu fått dragit detta till Tingsrätten då Autoclassica vägrar ta tillbaks bilen. Deras lösning är att jag ska sälja bilen via dom utan några garantier på att jag får tillbaks mina pengar eller hur lång tid det tar. Detta tackade jag naturligtvis nej till.
Har ni köpt bil från Autoclassica och nåt inte stämmer så kontakta genast advokat så tt ni får rätt hjälp.

After buying a car with the description low miles and flawless with a few pictures (where everything looked good) as a basis, the car purchase quickly turned into a nightmare.
The car did not run at all as promised and the condition was even worse. The undercarriage was dirty, all 4 rims were badly dented, scratched and even the lug nuts were worn. Large paint chips, full of scratches,

old repairs and rust here and there. Empty hole in the body somewhere.
The interior was previously water damaged so the carpets are literally rotten and weathered.
After a few days of driving at 800km, the speedometer, electric lift and one lamp broke and the engine rattles a lot when idling.
When I point out these faults, I am immediately called stupid. All of a sudden they have sold a heavily patinated original car where I should have known better. This without even getting a single picture of any of the defects or knowledge of any faults. The word patina was neither mentioned in writing nor during the conversation.
I have now had to take this to the District Court as Autoclassica refuses to take the car back. Their solution is that I will sell the car through them without any guarantees that I will get my money back or how long it will take. I naturally refused this.
If you have bought a car from Autoclassica and something is not right, contact a lawyer immediately so that you get the right help.

Köparen Mikael hämtar ut bilen med sin son och okulärbesiktigar bilen på plats hos oss i två timmar på en lördag.
Där efter provkör han bilen ordentligt. Mikael är eld och lågor över bilen och beger sig hemåt mot
Stockholm med sin son.
Mikael kör 3000 km med bilen, utan problem. En dag ringer han och vill byta denna vita bil mot en racing green
av liknande modell. Kunden vill dock pruta ca 75 000:-, vilket gör affären omöjlig att genomföra.
Där till kan man tillägga att innan Mikael köpte denna vita bil så hade han köpt en röd bil av samma modell.
Han berättade då att han hade möjlighet att ta sig ur det kontraktet för att köpa vår vita bil.
När vi inte vill byta så börjar Mikael att ändra attityd och hota med advokat etc.

Kort om bilen: Detta är en high performance-bil, som idag är en engelsk klassiker ifrån 1989.
Bilen har stått i förvaring i över 20 år och endast rullat drygt 2000 mil och svensksåld, alltså ett unikt objekt.
Bilen är helt original när der gäller lack, inredning och mekanik. Bilen är byggd i glasfiber, så den är helt rostfri.

Kunden klagar på 36 år gamla mattor, vilket inte är relevant. Vi erbjuder kunden nya mattor i ren goodwill.
Bilen är nybesiktigad utan anmärkning.
Mikael skickar bilder och ber oss att vi ska sälja bilen vidare. När vi får en utländsk köpare på bilen,
då avbryter han vår ök. och vi får inte sälja bilen.

Tråkigt att vi inte fick sälja denna fantastiska bil vidare och vi hade hoppats att få Mikael glad.

Had a very strange experience here, the owner Mats is quite aggressive. Once things get complicated, he even gets very aggressive and manipulative. I would not recommend to buy a car here.

I bought a Corvette C5 in August 2022…

I bought a Corvette C5 in August 2022 and was told by Auto Classica of Sweden, Ystad, owner Mats Larson it was 100% EU compliant. After exporting it to Spain in November 2022, I then spent the next 8 months trying to get it approved by Spanish authorities. They told me it was US compliant and in Sweden, they recognized it for use on Swedish roads only - it WAS NOT EU compliant. I then imported it to U.K. where I have been able to register it some 14 months since purchase. Through a contact with an ex staff member of Auto Classica he told me that Mats Larson knew all along it was not EU compliant. So my advice to anyone else is that this used car salesman cannot be trusted.
