AutoRaRa Rip Off

Hi. This is my personal experience with AutoRaRa and is for information purposes only.
My experience with this company started off well. Progress was made fairly quickly. However, when large invoices started to arrive it set alarm bells going off in my head. On close examination i was being charge ridiculous hours for labour. For example 278 hours to make new seat covers and re trim the seats. 99 hours for fabrication that hadn't even happened.
When confronted with this they became quite defensive and argumentative. They claimed it was the first time it had ever happened. However, after a few searches on the web i have discovered many more cases that have been the same, or very similar.
My advice is don't use them. There are many companies out there that will do better. If you do use them keep a close eye on the invoices and make regular trips so you can see what exactly has been done. Don't rely on their word or the online journal. I am now having to start legal action against them to recover my vehicle

I don’t say this often about a customer opinion, but this is a pack of lies. Mr Bevan Davis (originally Jason Lomax) is attempting to run a smear campaign on Auto RARA. He is doing this because he owes £15k and after many months of promising payment we started to escalate things formally. He has accused us of many things including fraud, although he is more careful in public what he writes.

His behaviour is so extreme it caused us to conduct some open source research what we found was concerning but not a surprise. The Andover Advertiser wrote an article (link below) on Mr Bevan Davis who changed his name from Jason Lomax to hide his criminal past. 29 convictions are reported with more than one prison sentence and for the crimes we can see they are all dishonesty related.

Whilst we would never take this kind of action with a customer this is an extreme case and we feel its justified. This is the second time we’ve had to write this as Mr Davis took the last review down following our reply to refresh his review. Seemingly he doesn’t like the truth or a right of response.

I’ve completed this review in Microsoft word this time so I can copy and paste this response. I’ll update the counter so you will know how many times Mr Davis has attempted to evade our response.
Hopefully Mr Davis will engage in some reasonable meaningful dialogue which will prevent our need for further escalation.
