Challenging Application and Lack of Documentation and Support

On their website, Avery Zweckform promises that graphics printed on their clear labels "looks like it is printed directly onto the surface". Since I needed those for clear glass and high clarity PET, I was happy to try them out.

However, achieving this clear effect took plenty of time and practice, especially due to the generous adhesive layer that added a semi-transparent white look. In addition, the adhesive picked up visible marks very easily, even when applying with gloves, we had to develop a creative workaround to apply these labels seamlessly without any contact with the back side.

Additionally, the initial prints resulted in the toner easily coming off the labels. I suspected this might be due to insufficient heat settings, but without any documentation on their melting point, I was hesitant to increase the heat for fear of damaging our expensive machines. Avery Zweckform lacks any guidance or documentation on this matter.

Customer service failed to provide any solution and eventually ignored my messages. This was by far the worst experience I had while working with these labels.

Only after I threatened to cancel the transaction via my credit card company did I receive an email offering a voluntary refund.

It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, especially when the product initially seemed promising.
