Avis Lyon Airiport are deceitful and will cheat you out of money
I would not recommend renting a car from Avis at Lyon Airport . they cheated me out of 172 Euros. How ? by asking me to purchase extra products such as road side assistance, and even when i said no. they added it to "counter product" under RSN . I asked what they extra was they said it was a deposit. I initialled the extra for fuel next to the arrow they drew on the paper, which i did ask for. On returning the car I queried the extra money being deducted they then circled the whole section and said I had initialled for all of the counter products and the up grade on the car, which I had not asked for but had to take as they did not have the car I ordered They told me the upgrade was only 32 euros. Such liars and such cheats. Never let them near your document when returning your car.

DISRESPECTFUL, UNRELIABLE
I booked a car by phone in Paris on Friday for Saturday morning 9 am. When I arrived the next day at 9 am I was told they did not have my name. I checked my mail on my phone and there was a letter from Avis written at 8:55 that same morning saying that they had no cars available. There were, indeed, no cars available and my plans shattered. Need I say more?
