This was my first time using A Wood Idea and I will certainty be back. It is rare to find a company these days who are so helpful and on the ball in terms of customer service. Sara our Customer Service Advisor was amazing from start to finish. She assisted me to navigate my order for doors of various different sizes and we were delighted with the quality of our final choice. I would highly recommend this company for choice of doors, quality, value for money and excellent team work.

Polite, knowledgeable, and willing to negotiate a deal for 9 doors. Availability excellent. Delivery spot on. Drahm free from start to finish.

Second time using this company, first for flooring and now for a house full of interior doors during our house renovation.

They provide high quality merchandise, the oak doors are beautiful!
And their staff are knowledgeable and helpful, they even stored our doors when they arrived as we weren’t quite ready for them, wonderful service!

The doors are great but it took a month for my size to arrive as they had no stock. I only found out after the point of sale when I chased for a delivery update. I had to chase a further four times for delivery updates, which was very frustrating as the
A Wood Ideas website was never updated to show the door as out of stock. I pointed this out to them as I think buyers should know if something is in or out of stock, but it wasn’t updated.
Despite complaining I have received no follow up or any meaningful feedback on their customer service. 5 star doors but 2 star service.

Scam artists 3 weeks no delivery. Fobbed off with excuses. Told an extra 7-10 days to get my money back. Going to be posting screenshot of emails on their Facebook page to warn others of their dirty tricks.

Copy & pasted from a mobile phone into your website. Nice try. Liar.

Totally not flexible way of business, I ordered a door for my client, unfortunately my telephone copied my address as shipment address, I wanted just change the shipment address so the only way is cancel the order before, pay second time for the item and wait for refund. I don't want to freeze my money. Even I wrote after unclear communication email so please cancel the old order and change the shipment address I didn't get any back answer if it's done or not, so I asked today about a new order number and date of delivery and Mr Mark at least answered that theirs policy of credit company??? I didn't take any credit with you Mister and paid whole amount, so theirs credit policy doesn't let him change anything. First time in whole my long life I met such inflexible and incompetence way of business and giving back information. Don't recommend at all.

Ordered items from A Wood Idea which are very competitive in terms of prices and after a time, had to contact them as they hadn't been delivered. They checked and found that DPD still had the parcel. The company immediate dispatched replacement items without question and I received them within two days. A special thanks to Andy who investigated and resolved the issue. There are many companies out there but very few offer such good customer care - thanks!

Having experienced the highs and lows of a large extension with some nightmare experiences what a relief it was to deal with a business that is customer focused, sells outstanding quality products and produces excellent results . We got 10 beautiful pre finished mexicano doors and had a bespoke oak and glass balustrade staircase fitted by their carpenter Marc who completed it with the ultimate expertise.
Also the service involved using their French Polisher and they also did a magnificent job. This was all coordinated by Andy who was very helpful to make this a stress free experience. I thoroughly recommend this company.

Absolutely over the moon with my new door. Customised to exactly how I wanted and it was fit on a day that was convenient for me. The fitters were absolutely great too, really friendly with my son, kept me updated with progress, I’d say left no mess but in fact it was cleaner than they arrived. A great experience and will definitely be back.

Order was raised for a large amount of 12mm thick oak laminate flooring. It was delivered promptly and looks quality. Can't wait to get it down.

Vinyl flooring provided for the entire ground floor of our house. Andy was really helpful with advice on how best to fit the floor and we're really pleased with the quality of the end result. Communication was excellent from choosing the flooring through to completion of fitting. Will definitely use A Wood Idea again.

Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Trustworthy, transparent pricing, good range and competitive pricing for the quality of work at this end of the market. A significant amount of work had to be carried out due to the size/nature of the project so we had the joiner 'camped out' at our home for a week. He couldn't have bene more respectful, quiet, tidy and helpful if he had tried. A real pleasure to deal with a decent company in this day and age.

12 doors and herringbone flooring supplied. There was stock issue with one of the doors, kept up to date with email after initial order and delivered when promised. Best price I could find anywhere online and my house now looks amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend
