Still Hopeful...

My Backersinfo representatives have been very helpful and informative... So far my campaign is struggling, but I'm still very optimistic and hopeful that it will gain momentum. I feel very fortunate to have Amy Crothers on my side! She has made your services very visible to me since day one... Thanks, Amy...

Unsolicited emails will not result in sales. Stop sending me spam!

I have been receiving loads of spam from this company. I previously asked to removed from their list and after over a month I am still receiving spam.

-- If I receive an email from you because you bought my email address from them, I will be reporting your email as spam, every time! --

This means you will look less reputable and will be more likely to be sent to peoples spam folders by email filters. Do not buy from this company, they are scummy and they lie to clients and to people who supposedly signed up to receive emails. WE DO NOT WANT YOUR EMAILS, WE DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THEM. THEY ARE LYING TO YOU.

EDIT: In response to the company:

"We would like to extend to you our most sincere apologies regarding the recent spam issues. We take privacy seriously. We never sell backer's information for profit! We run email campaigns from our side and apart from that, we also offer additional services like social media marketing, PR, media campaign, etc., You can check out our pricing page, [link] and we don’t sell any backers information."
-This is a blatant lie, they absolutely sell backers information for profit, or how did my email get sold to creators for marketing? Per their own pricing page "Connect With 250 Super Backers" is $35. How is that not selling personal information for profit?

"I understand you already unsubscribed from our mailing list and as a result, we erased your information from our CRM software system. For every project that we work with, we handle email campaigns on behalf of project creators and we provide sample super backers list to project creators for their understanding purpose. Unfortunately, one of the project creators sent out emails without our consent and this does not happen most of the time. We’re normally known for our exceptional attention to detail, and we regret that we missed the mark."
- Also a lie, I have dozens of emails from projects using lists purchased from BackersInfo, I have NEVER received an email directly from backersinfo regarding projects or promotions. They do not handle these for clients, they are just selling information.

"Your comments have been discussed at length with the responsible data protection officer to prevent this from happening again and ensure the company maintains its high email campaign standards."
- I have no confidence in this being true.

"Given the impact that this can have, we have adapted our documentation and we will make sure to communicate this very clearly to our employees and future customers."
- I have no confidence in this being true.

Here’s the process we follow,

"Firstly, we don’t send emails to just anyone. We target backers very carefully and we have got a list of interested backers who back Kickstarter and Indiegogo projects based on our valuable suggestions."
- They buy emails from existing Kickstarter projects so that they can resell them is what this means.

"Secondly, in each of our email messages, we clearly include unsubscribing links on how to remove their data from our mailing list or change them. Once somebody opts out, we respect their wish, erase personal data, and never contact them again. In your case, we erased your information completely, but later we identified the sample backers list issue which we rectified now."
- I have unsubscribed from every email I have recieved and still get them because they are coming from creators and not BackersInfo. This is misleading and inaccurate.

"As an additional step, we will designate a DPO team to oversee data security strategy and compliance. We will also make sure the data used in future campaigns are being processed according to the global compliance rules like GDPR."
- I have no confidence in this being true.

"For backers information, we work with lead generation companies and they claim that they asked your permission at the very beginning. We’re in process of finding out which lead generation company provided your data and we’ll stop working with them with immediate effect."
- In other words they buy emails and never check to see if the recipients actually want emails from them or the clients they resell the emails too.

"We’ll make sure that this doesn’t happen again in the future. We apologies for the inconvenience once again."
- This is what they told me the first time too.

IRecommended for everyone advertised with Backersinfo in two…

I advertised with Backersinfo in two projects on Kickstarter: Mini-Ta and Moka 2.0 still live. The first reached the goal in 4 days, the second in 36 hours. In the pre-launch phase they helped me improve the projects page and I can say that their advertising is effective. I recommend it to everyone, especially to small creators like me.

You Won't Be Disappointed!

You Won't Be Disappointed!
So many scams out there. So many of these are related now to supposedly "helping" fundraising campaigns. I fortunately only tried "2" before finding backersinfo.com and I am so incredibly happy with my results. The #1 thing to remember, is that they go "above and beyond" to help your campaign raise money.
I'm a customer for life.

NO need to go anywhere else...get the job done with Backersinfo

Wow! I was so impressed with the whole package from Backersinfo in helping reach my funded goal for my first Kickstarter project. They didn't bombard you with loads of emails......but rather kept me updated with examples of how they were promoting my little project, and I felt like I was going along on the journey with them, every step of the way. It was even a lovely surprise to discover that they were still working behind the scenes to promote my project up until the very last day.
Thanks ever so much. You won't be disappointed. xK

We did a lot of research in who we were going to hire. I want to thank Backers Info for helping us raise money on our Indiegogo container project. Although, their social media strategies did not receive the traffic what we expected, they provided hundreds of click through their super backers campaign. Small price to reach a targeted backer audience. Highly recommended!

I am very sorry that my experience with…

I am very sorry that my experience with Bakersinfo went so badly, I subscribed their plan with much enthusiasm and trust when I was halfway to my funding goal.

I wanted a boost from a professional, but it turned out to be a total disappointment if not even a scam. They actually sent me some graphics for approval but nothing one can't do alone with a free tool like Canva for example. Than, they posted it on Instagram on a profile with 300 followers (not sure what they expected from this) and on Twitter on some spamming account with no effect at all. There were other activities and issues from their side that won't make me purchase again.

I opened a claim on PayPal and they refunded me, so at least my money did't go lost.

I really can't say if they really try their best or not, if it was just bad luck or what, but in the end I think that their overall work was way below my expectations. I can't recommend their service, and I am very sorry that it went that way.

Fast and friendly support

I was really nervous to start my Crowdfunding campaign - ‘Bringing Back the Batik Style'. I’ve never done anything like this before and I don’t have a massive list of contacts to approach, so I have no idea if I’d reach anywhere near my target. I’ve also been working on my own, so it’s been rather stressful not knowing if I’ve ‘done it right’ or not, how people might view the campaign and how to get more people to see it. BackersInfo have been amazing at helping guide me through the different ways of promoting the project, helping me with social media assets and creating really cool e-mails to send out. From the outset they’ve been so friendly and helpful and suddenly I don’t feel like I’m completely alone anymore!

For anyone approaching crowdfunding for the very first time, I would highly recommend them. They know what looks good and how to create the assets needed to promote projects. Also, given that the campaign is time sensitive they worked really quickly to send me everything I needed (literally within a couple of hours) and they have been really responsive to any questions I had. I’m really grateful for all their work and input and feel a lot more positive about my project now. Thanks guys!

Great marketing support for my Book's crowdfunding campaign.

I was contacted by Backersinfo to provide marketing for my Indiegogo campaign. I found the offered packages affordable compared to the more contributions I would get in my campaign. I engaged with them. The payment was straight-forward and I was then immediately contacted by Backersinfo staff. The initial contact was great asking for some details for marketing. The social media and email templates were quickly prepared and I was asked for approval, which I quickly gave. I was quite impressed with the targeting of typical backers. This list was customized based on what kind of people I expected to like my campaign, and by their knowledge of great backers.

Backers Info helped us with all aspects…

Backers Info helped us with all aspects of the campaign, from identifying super backers to setting up a campaign page. Communication with them throughout the campaign was excellent. If you've got 100% confidence and faith in your product, then you really should consider Backers Info. Way cheaper than other agencies. We got our Indiegogo page redesigned, GIF images for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram postings, a Variety of email template designs, super backers campaign and more.

I Paid $5,000 upfront to another marketing agency ($3,500 for FB Marketing "set up costs" and $1500 for PR) and received minimal results. For $350, Backers Info did an amazing job on our campaigns and We're so happy to work with them in the future.
