I received a mens cashmere sweater today. Three things colour was not like the colour on the site this sweater is a very bright red not the dark red I was expecting and I ordered medium and have received a large. I would not
recommend this company. This sweater is not cashmere. A very expensive purchase.

Terrible company. Used for a contract once and didn’t get paid for weeks and weeks. Was told by one of the branch “owners” here in Glasgow or whatever they like to call themselves that they were trying to “go the extra mile” to pay me. Contracting as an accountant as well. Found out they were charging the employer a large flat rate and were paying me out of that an agreed rate as per standard which apparently was a mistake as they had intended to steal more, equating to a potential £10K a year decrease for me had they been clever enough to follow through with their dishonesty.

Any time I met with any “consultants” at this place again I was told “oh yes, you got on well with Consultant Y” as if the “Owner” wasn’t the problem. Would never use again.

Highly suspect business practice and despite 2 previous requests to never contact me again,warning them otherwise I would report them to the Data Commissioner, I continue to be pestered by them.

I would never use them again.

What a joke!!!! Seriously....
Been called by them, assuring about the seriousness of their client, great wage....
Changed then my job, after just 21 days the company said: SORRY WE HAVE MADE A MISTAKE. Then LHH (new brand of Badenoch) just DISAPPEARED without saying even a sorry. It's one year now I am jobless and no one from LHH answers.
They have just played with me, my family, my professionalism, my children and their future!!!!! I had to sell a property because of this just to live.
The worst Head Hunting company ever seen in my whole life..... I will make sure newspapers will know about this joke!!!!! I promise.....

I’ve dealt with Robin Turner. He helped me prepare for the job interview and secure a temp role which has now been made permanent. Would definitely recommend

I hold an American law degree, a PhD from the University of Birmingham, and six other degrees including a British LLM. I am a successful appellate lawyer in the USA. I’m also a native Kentishman and would like to return to my homeland to work. With that in mind, I filled out a query form on the B&C website on August 15, 2021, and received an automatic email saying ‘one of our consultants will be in touch with you within 1 day…’ But two weeks passed and I heard nothing, so I sent a return email. Twelve more days went by, and then I received an unsigned message saying ‘Hello John. What assistance are you looking for and I will put you in touch with the relevant consultant. Best wishes.’ On September 17 I replied to the message and attached a copy of my resume. But nothing further was received. In November I wrote a snail-mail letter detailing the above and suggested that contacting Badenoch & Clark is an utter waste of time. And Badenoch & Clark PROVED my point -- I received no response whatever.

I have worked through Badenoch and Clark on and off for the last 15 years. In recent times I have had to go through an umbrella company to be paid. I have been using Parasol Group who have been far from great. However, last week it all went Pete Tong at Parasol, thousands of people haven't been paid, B&C have done absolutely nothing to get Parasol to pay me (despite earning plenty of commission for me over the years for sweet FA in return). Now they are insisting that. despite the chaos at Parasol, I have to submit another timesheet that they will then pay Parasol for and for which who knows if I will ever receive payment. Absolutely disgusting, unprofessional behaviour, I will not be submitting another timesheet, if I'm not getting paid neither are you and Parasol. See you in court.

You failed to pay me despite the fact that I worked very hard on an assignment for you. Your staff such as dan rainbird and paul duffy did not respond for my request for payment for my work and simply ignored me.
Your lack of responses is disgusting despite the fact I worked for your outfit for a very long time and you now treat me like mud. So it will have to be resolved in court.

You are lousy and beneath contempt.

Marianna G (Maz) at B&C has restored my faith in recruitment consultancies! I lost all hope looking for a job when I was pregnant, I was contacted by many recruiters but as soon as I mentioned I was pregnant I never heard from them again. Maz was different, she congratulated me and seemed genuinely happy! I told her my requirements (short term contract) and off she was. She put me forward for a few roles and I got to interview stage with one of them. Unfortunately, the interviewer was ill so there was a delay in hearing back, but instead of a long silence and no communication Maz regularly contacted me with updates - again I’ve had a lot of experience with recruiters and have spoken with friends and we agreed that this excellent level of client care is very rare! She is a real gem in this industry and an asset to B&C. As a result of my interaction with Maz, I fully recommend B&C to anyone looking for work.

They state on their website "WE'LL HELP YOU GO FURTHER" - I doubt it. Said I did not get the job at ReThink Mental Illness, Tipton, due not answering one question. Did the job exist in the first place ? And on that basis I think it is unfair to I have had experiences like this in the past, early on when I went for interviews. I feel now they just wanted to make excuses not to give a Muslim BAME individual a role. I would avoid both of these companies. ReThink Mental Illness is meant to be a charity which helps to combat mental illness, it appears this is quite the contrary. Thanks for the taking the time to read through my reviews.

I have been a professional locum for several years now and have always found the locum recruiters in each area of the country to be extremely friendly , polite , helpful and professional and have been dealing with Kieran Middleton recently and have never come across a more dedicated and hardworking recruiter than him to date .
Kieran is a pleasure to work with and a credit to Badenoch and Clark

Legal Counsel placement. I learned that some recruitment agents really do go the extra mile. I was bowled over by the tenacity and attention to detail of Badenoch & Clark, especially Hayley Alfreds. She seemed to be constantly on the go, sorting out queries, refining the job requirements. Hayley took a proactive, problem solving approach. This, i think, is pretty unusual. Not all recruitment agencies do so. I have definitely become a convert to the Badenoch method, a refreshing level of commitment. R.

I have dealt with Sam Fryer and Kieran Middleton for over 3 years now and they couldn't be any more helpful. They always respond to texts, calls and emails, sometimes in the evening or at weekends. They always manage to keep me busy. I'm very happy with them.

Got the job done on my vehicle! Great manual, did few fixing/repair jobs and the information as always we're precise and easy to understand. I really enjoyed doing the repairs myself because I got to learn things I didn't know before. The price for this manual is so affordable. You get more than you expect. Finally I can drive my Audi A3 in good condition. I recommend this manual to those who want to save money and time

Had amazing experience with B+C. Had a very tailored approach which ensured that the role I apply for is a good fit for me and equally that I'm a good fit for the company.
The team have supported me all the way through the recruitment process, interviews, offer acceptance etc. I got the best outcome for me and I knew I was supported by genuine, enthusiastic individuals.

Worse customer service ever. Posting fake housing jobs and misleading candidates! Ive been dealing with Robin Turner who is rude and does not get back to you. i have all the experience required for the roles so they simply just want to collect cvs and post fake jobs. Its all a scam. worse customer service ever. stay away!

They are quite happy to put you forward for roles and get you an interview. Don't expect a follow up call if unsuccessful, they don't have the common decency to let you know. Wish I'd read the other reviews before agreeing for them to represent me, never again!

Please do not waste your time with this agency, in particular Rebecca Sadding and Katie.

They will contact you about a "vacancy" when they actually haven't been instructed by the company. All they do is get the job spec details from a company's website and pretend that they have been instructed by the company. They will not be able to tell you anything about the role or the company other than what is on the company's website, because they haven't got any relationship with the hiring manager/HR. All they want is your CV to be sent to a company so they meet their daily target.

I have been pushed to provide reference details on several occasions. Do not share these details with agencies. All they will do is contact the companies and ask them if they need any help with finding candidates. The last thing you want to do when you're job hunting is annoying your referees!

Please stay away from these time wasters.

Avoid like the plague, that Ben Lang just automatically cancels any application you make immediately. Absolutely shocking service from otherwise superb passionate people.
