I am using the site without making any payments yet I have had repeated successes meeting suitable partners in person. This has surprised me since other sites, in the past, when I was far younger and better looking, failed to provide any hits.
Some profiles are clearly bogus, but obviously so.
I don’t see how the site could filter those out without the risk of excluding some genuine.
Lack of enforcement on a prohibition on irrelevant photos and illustrations is a very minor irritation.

I wouldn't recommend this site. Most profiles won't let you text first unless you buy credits. 100% of the messages I've received have been ladies in Thailand or Kenya. This is despite my having a distance filter in the settings. Not recommended unless you want to find a bride from overseas.

Got blocked for no reason oh no tried to say I was inauthentic yet I’m photo verified . I encountered daily abuse from men and ninety percent of the profiles were African scammers and men in sunglasses . They treat decent people like criminals yet leave the abusers , scammers , men in sunglasses on there . Mostly likely charging men the earth just to be on there and booting off decent women like me . It’s a shame as there were some decent men on there . No one on there not even admin knows what photo verified means at all . Any I blocked had hundreds of alternative profiles so you’d block then they’d appear in your matches again . The joke is I worked for them for a month years ago and recommended a complete overhaul back then and it’s got a billion times worse since . I encountered prisoners , men in mental health facilities and horny men all asking for sex two seconds after saying hi . If you said no they’d call you every name under the sun , call you fake and report you for nothing . If you still have manners , decency and respect for yourself and others don’t sign up . Never encountered so much hate from people that apparently matched and liked you in my entire life . Should rename it pervs r us and even straight guys were telling me they were getting propositioned by gay men . Do better Badoo .!!!

If this site is moderated as the owners claim, why have I had a profile with a penis drawn onto the girls mouth for over a month on my recommendations?

Absolute scam site, full of foreign scammers and the above provides clear evidence that the owners do not care, well they do, they care about lining their pockets.

Insanely huge amount of profiles with false location.

These people will defame you without reason, in a short time they have sent warnings finding they are wrong, they invent problems, the company should be investigated. Staff have answered me with somet5hing that has nothing to do with what i sent. I have not been on the site much today, l had one message from a girl wanting a threesome, i answered 'how much'' to get her to write the money but as i was going to sleep l left it, when i woke up they had blocked me, this is normal, it is what people post here so its true, they invent. They accused me of posting ''commercial things' no idea what i posted for sale but obviously are dyslexic and read that i was selling bearskin rugs from China. If they read all complaints here why is it they have not learnt something and changed their IT system of got educated staff, this has gone on years, what about those reviews where they sole members money, was it repaid. See here message that they sent me which they admit they are wrong and then change their mind, in 2 hours one morning they sent 4 warnings and retracted them, thereby defaming me 4 times with no explanation or apology, never sign their name because they are afraid of being caught wrongly.

REMEMBER once you report you can no longer see the person...........they replied wanting the name/age/address/work/education of the person

So if i have not been online and had no contact with anyone all day except for one girl asking a threesome where are all these working 24/7 moderating.
This is not about a dating site with many scammers/sex workers/online ebeggers, this is about a group of people that are paid to defame others and get away with it. This and all messages from them is being sent to IC3 to get them looked into because of their behavior towards innocent members falsely accused where they will not divulge their reason maybe because it is false as l have written here. Defamation is a crime in law.

I would have rated a 5 if the site had more active users like they did in the past. After some time they "updated" things and it just made it worse. I wish we had the old Badoo back!

I've been on Badoo for a few weeks. Bad experience yet again. My profile clearly states "looking for casual meets". Badoo is no better than Match Groups Tinder & POF. I've received regular pop-ups to prompt me to pay for Badoo premium. I've had zero likes and no matches on the free version. Why would someone be stupid enough to pay for a premium subscription when I've had no likes or matches on the free version, as there is no incentive in the first place to a pay for a premium subscription. You entice people in by boosting their profiles upon joining, get a few chats & meets going, then we part with our money for premium. It's common sense business. No way am I going to pay for premium if I'm swiping endlessly on the free version and getting no matches or likes. This is totally unrealistic as again I'm not the worst looking guy. I can't help but think that these apps and developers & moderators discriminately pick certain males and place them to the front of the card stacks and make their profiles more visible on characteristics such as height and perhaps certain races as it's completely unrealistic that I'm not getting any likes or matches. Therefore, I wouldn't advise anyone to download this app and certainly not pay for a premium subscription.
