Hi our soft close toilet seat stopped working customer experience with Olympus bathrooms/ Sanipex

Hi our soft close toilet seat stopped soft closing and needed replacement. I spoke to Sanipex who supplied the toilet through a bathroom supplier who had changed hands they recommended a bathroom supplier in Otford Kent I spoke to a lady called Elise who was more than helpful she arranged for a new seat to be delivered, the seat arrived and I couldn’t fit it so Elise arranged for James from Sanipex to give me a call and the seat is now fitted massive thanks to these two people highly recommend both of their companies.

Fantastic customer service

Bagnodesign/Sanipex supplied and fitted our kitchen countertops.
They did a great job and pro-actively followed up on our small issues, ultimately delivering a great product and on-time.

With the great attention to customer satisfaction I have zero hesitation in recommending Bagnodesign / Sanipex.

James could not have been more helpful

I have a Bagnodesign bath and the pop up plug refused to stay down. Our plumber was less than interested and suggested removal of the bath and a complete new draining system fitted. In disbelief I contacted James in Bagnodesign/Sanipex Technical Dept who was extremely helpful and professional, he sent out a small device in the post and even assisted my husband via video on how to fit the item! This solved our frustrating but relatively simple problem. If only all companies were as accommodating as this, good ‘old fashioned’ service is not dead yet. Thank you James.

4 Months Later Work Unfinished

A bathroom and kitchenette in my house scheduled to be completed in August 2024 has been left an unfinished worksite with no schedule offered to resolve. The majority of the job has been subcontracted and minimal communication from Bagnodesign to the subcontractors has left the project at a standstill. Duncan Heeles has promised weekly that it will be completed soon, however, deadlines have been unmet.

Duncan Heeles demanded payment swiftly and upfront and is now dragging his feet to complete, leaving my house a construction site.

This review will be updated should action be taken.

Update 4/11/24: Duncan Heeles has demanded the full payment of final retentions that constitute less than 10% of total job costs (to be paid following completion of work), including retentions for other uncompleted rooms, before completing work.

Exceptional Customer Care

First time reviewer, compelled to do so due to exceptional customer care !!

As the end user purchasing great products, my contractor delays meant damage to one item was not noticed until critical completion time. Supply steps meant impossible for me to know where parcel damage occurred but i can only agree with Bagnodesigns conclusion that it was likely on site AFTER their delivery. Nevertheless, they not only replaced as goodwill, they expedited the entire process as knew I had a deadline.

Frances was just amazing throughout but credit must go to a company that creates a culture to allow this level of customer care.

Final step was delivery of replacement product by driver who helped me unpack to inspect (i have broken hand) yet wouldn't accept a tip for his extra time ! Said it was company policy and wouldn't budge even when I insisted it was between us.

I am in Sales but this buyer experience is probably the best i have ever experienced and can only come because a company has chosen to differentiate.

I encourage others to always chose Bagnodesign to enjoy the same experience.

Quick & efficient delivery

Younes you are a legend for getting my tiles to me. Have had a disaster experience with my tilers damaging tiles and 3 rounds of re-work. Thank you and appreciate your fantastic customer service!
I hope not to face some of the issues that others have with the quality. However, friends have used Bagno and they are quick to help with warranty issues. Fingers crossed I will never have to find out.

Avoid.....Bagnodesign

Avoid.....Bought a new house with Bagnodesign bathrooms throughout 7 years ago. Have so far replaced 5 soft close toilet seats, two basin tap cartridges and all three shower mixer valves had to be serviced after 5 years due to being stuck solid. Two years later, guess what, they are stuck solid again. Never again!!!

Excellent service from Technical Support.

Excellent service from James in technical support. Quick response and excellent communication. James was very helpful and sent us the replacement parts needed.
We’ve had some issues with the products but the technical support could not be better.

Rusted Stainless Steel

Ordered floor drains from them that claimed to be stainless steel 316. Upon inspection of the drains while picking them at the shop, there was rust on the items out of the box.

Brushed brass got black spots all over

I bought brushed brass taps x 2, shower head, shower mixer etc for my master suite. After a month I started to see black dots appearing all over the brass. I had not used cleaning products on the brass as I was very conscious about this as the instructions said not to use harsh cleaning products. The taps looked terrible and were about 50% covered in black marks. After months I got sent replacements. I had to pay a plumber for 2 days work to replace them. Now find the new brass wear is getting black dots again. Been trying for 6 weeks to get response from Bagno. Appalling product which is expensive along with awful customer service. Clearly the product is faulty. I should be reimbursed for paying the plumber to replace 1st faulty set which cost me £600, and I will have to pay this out again if Bagno ever get back to me and replace this last set. So disappointed as I have never spent so much on taps as I have only ever used chrome before, and will only use chrome in the future after this experience.

Excellent service and support form Bagnodesign employee…

we had bought all our Bagnodesign bathroom fixtures in black via their distrubutor. Unfortunately the plates had to be removed due to wrong plumbing by our builder and hence scratched the backside of the plates and the washers. Initially it was very difficult to get in touch with the UK branch as the phones just cut off but finally via email via Dubai, they put me in touch with James Smith in their technical support. We were very impressed with his help as i mentioned rubber things on the plates and he immediately knew what I was talking about and knew what I was looking for and how many. when I said they are too thin to be glued on he actually took time out to make a video call and show me how they are slotted in and not glued. I mentioned if there was anyway of getting new plates as ours were damaged and very kindly managed to find some slightly marked plates which have done the job. It was very enlightening to find someone who not only knew his products but went out of his way to sort out our problems and constantly kept in touch.

Bathroom parts replacement

We got the entire bathroom venities via our designer from Bagnodesign and there are missing pieces when the building firm installed them. We did go back to the shop and tried to get some alternative options. The shop assistants there are not extremely helpful as I understand some other comments shared. At one point, we were directed to their technical support team and we got all the helps and advice as needed. After several rounds sending the parts, we got several minor issues fixed. I would recommend to contact their technical team especially if it's not a simple swop.

Poor servicw

Worst support I have ever come across - no response for emails picking up phone for 4days! Moreover, my toilet seat broke into pieces just by sitting on it (I’m 58kg...). Very disappointed by their service and products.

Unrelieble company

Support is extremely bad!!! Bought a wcproduct from them, one mounting part was lost, tried to reach them, they don't reply any emails, then i tried to call them even asking to buy and pay for this spare part additionally, they don't even bother to help, just sends me somewhere else.
Until now i can't mount my wc, i think i just throw it away.
First time in my life i see company unresponsible like bagnodesign.
