I had to phone them to find out they were never going to send me my order

I spent £160 on some cabin baggage from Bagsdirect. The day after I placed my order, I received an email saying they were currently out of stock of the item I wanted but it would be back in stock in about a week's time. I responded to that email saying that would be fine but then I heard nothing from them for a while. In the end, I had to phone them on my day off to ask what had happened to my order. That was when I was told they weren't able to get the item I wanted at all. I'm shocked I had to phone them to find that out. How long were they planning on keeping my money for?

Avoid this company

Received a defective product, sent it back, they disputed whether it was defective. They refunded the cost of the product only, but not the original shipping I paid them and not the amount I paid to send it back. They were extremely unhelpful and rude, I would avoid doing any business with this company.

My experience with this store is…

My experience with this store is terrible.
I bought a backpack on sale to 35 pounds.
5 days after they refund my money without notice.
I tried to speak with them and they told me that that price was their mistake and the cancelled my order and if i want i can re order for 85 pounds!!.
Not only they did not honour their won mistake,they were rude and they did not even offeer mi maybe some kind of discount for their own mistake.
Dont botter on buying in this place,try in in different ones like luggagesuperstore that they have the sames prices and better costumer care.

Outstanding service, better than John Lewis

Outstanding service, better than John Lewis. I was going to buy this Samsonite bag from John Lewis, but they had terrible customer service. Then I saw BagsDirect's after Googling and I was skeptical as it was discounted and I'd never heard of them before, especially as I was spending over £100 I was not sure. Although after researching them they seemed to be a credible online business, so I ordered but, just my luck, I didn't research and ordered the wrong bag (one that would keep my laptop safe).

BagDirect to the rescue again, I called them first thing and they were amazing. Even though I was my mistake, they were more than happy to change the bag and include the discount code, telephone customer service was outstanding, followed up with updated priced, dispatched, including prompt delivery.

The item arrived, in original Samsonite packaging. By far, better than John Lewis by far!!! I would highly recommend.

Ordered a weekend bag for a Christmas…

Ordered a weekend bag for a Christmas present. They emailed days later after payment saying out of stock but should be back in 7-10 days. Didn't happen. Numerous emails and phone calls with no reply. Ended up getting a refund and shopping else where. Poor customer service.

Poor customer Service

Ordered an item and was told it was in stock. I had a delivery notification from DHP which they then cancelled and could not get the item for a further week.
Customer service was terrible and they did not care. they did not make any effort to rectify.

Happy Accident!

I stumbled across their website by accident and I have to say that the customer service was second to none.
Two new suitcases ordered online at different times on a Sunday and they were here on Tuesday morning. I was kept up to date with the progress of my order at all times.
I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent value for money and speedy delivery!!

Thank you Bags Direct , I ordered on Sunday and my suitcase (American Tourister ) was delivered on Wednesday! Speedy delivery 😊😊
I was nervous about ordering from BagsDirect as I haven’t heard of them HOWEVER I am a very happy customer and will be using them again.

Excellent service and great value for money !!!

Gave them too many chances and still no changes

I have tried to order a suitcase 2nd time . First they are taking the payment and stating the item is eligible for next day delivery , next day they are sending an email that this item is out of stock . After the first experience I thought I will give them another chance ( I wanted to order the same suitcase just different size ) but there is not point . Apparently they don’t have stock . They are ordering it from the main shop and that is what they advertise .
Advice : when people don’t get the item on the brand’s website ( bcause it’s sold out ) they go on google and try to search for another place to order it from . That is not a good idea that you are still showing the item on your website ( with a “next” sign ( means , next day delivery) and later sending the email that the delivery is in delay because the main website doesn’t have it in stock . Well , we know it’s not , that’s why I wanted to order it from you .
And then obviously , because they already took the payment from your account , you have to wait to actually get your own money back . They could have just not taken it , couldn’t they ?

This website is a joke .

What can I say about Bagsdirect easy…

What can I say about Bagsdirect easy online buying, very efficient , friendly customs services always taking to friends and family how good Bagsdirect is. I personally want go anywhere else to buys. I forgot to mention that there product is 100% quality and they last longer then most of the high street shop.

Great product, great service

I’ve been using bags-direct for 7 years now. Bought holiday suitcases several times and laptop bags + rucksacks. Product is always reliable, there is a great selection everytime I go on the website and the customer service is very friendly.

Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service.
My suitcase broke after using it for the first time.
Have been told it's a manufacturer problem.
Also told that they are not a big company so cannot just replace/refund.
Stay away from them!

Took my money when product discontinued

Ordered a suitcase from their website which appeared to be in stock given I was allowed to add it to cart. They took my money straight away and then I received an email the next day to say it has been discontinued. I asked for an immediate refund which 4 days later still hasn't arrived.

Horrific delivery and false promises!!

I purchased two American Tourister cabin bags on 17th of March and paid £5.95 for next day delivery as it seemed like a good deal. I received a call on Monday the 19th of March and was advised by Bags Direct that they had only one bag in stock and they had to order the second one from Samsonite who are the supplier. Further, they would give me a refund of £5.95 for the next day delivery charge paid to them as a good will gesture. The lady said they would receive the stock from Samsonite on Thursday 29th March and I would receive both the bags on Friday the 30th. I mentioned I was flying out on the weekend and needed they bags as promised. Everything was fine till Thursday the 22nd of March when I received an email saying there has been a change in your order and it will be delivered on Monday 26th March. I called them up and asked them as to why they had done this and they blamed Samsonite stating that they had delayed sending the bag to Bags Direct and I would receive it on Monday! This was of no use to me as I needed the bags before I left on holiday. I asked to speak to their manager and asked if I could receive the bags on a Saturday and she said I would have to pay £10.50 for delivery. This is just ridiculous! They committed to something and could dot deliver and were further asking me to pay for delivery. They promise one thing, blame some one and don't deliver. I would have got my bags directly from the manufacturer. Now I have no bags to travel with! Stay away as they seem like a middle man who do not hold stock and just buy the stock when an order comes through!! Just avoid them and buy elsewhere, false promises and time wasters!!
