We are delighted with the Renault Captur we bought from Banchory Car Centre a few days ago, and are very impressed with the after sales service.

We test drove cars near Ellon and one in Aberdeen, and in both cases we were handed the keys, but given no information about starting the car, the instruments etc.

In contrast, at Banchory Car Centre both Bill and Sean were exceedingly helpful and informative both prior to the test drive and once we agreed to buy the car. They went through all the instruments on the dashboard, and did the little things which would have taken us some time to fathom out independently eg pairing a phone, tuning and saving favourite radio station.

The car was MOT’d on the day we took delivery and had no advisories. Bill recommended us having it MOT’d again a month before it expires, so that if there is any work to be done it will hopefully be completed under the 12 month warranty. Again the contrast with the garage in Aberdeen was marked…The MOT of the car we test drove was due to expire in March ‘27, but the garage refused to renew it or to address the advisories.

Bill and Sean encouraged us to return if we had any questions or issues. Having done a lengthy car journey yesterday, I discovered a couple of things I was unsure about, so returned to Banchory Car Centre where Sean painstakingly went through the queries resolving each one satisfactorily.

I bought a car last year from Banchory Car Centre, I can't praise them enough, all staff are friendly, and can't do enough to help. There was a few things to be sorted in the last year as it was an older second hand car, which the team did as efficiently and helful as ever.

I only made an enquiry, unfortunately the car I enquired about sold.
The communication from Bill was excellent, though missing out on the car I was interested in, it saved me an unnecessary trip. I will be keeping an eye on their stock as a result and will definitely be recommending them to friends and family as a result. Thank you Bill.

We went to Banchory Car Centre last weekend looking for a car for my daughter as she was looking to upgrade from her "first" vehicle, in to something newer. We were met by the owners who were very pleasant and took time to ask my daughter what she wanted in terms of age, mileage engine size etc. The selection they had was first class, all very clean and well presented with a good amount of information on each and again they took time to let her make her own decisions and to test drive whatever she wanted to - three as it turned out! Once my daughter decided on the vehicle she wanted, she dealt with Bill Duncan, who talked her through options in terms of trade-in etc without any pressure or influence. She paid a deposit and collected her car a few days later once it had been serviced and had new tyres fitted. She ( & we!) are delighted with her car and with the complete package service that we experienced at Banchory Car Centre. Many thanks to both Bill and Richie for their caring approach to ensuring my daughter is a bit safer on the roads. I would not hesitate but recommend them to anyone who is looking to change vehicles.
